Solvd Inc. is a rapidly growing AI-native consulting and technology services firm delivering enterprise transformation across cloud, data, software engineering, and artificial intelligence. We work with industry-leading organizations to design, build, and operationalize technology solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
Following the acquisition of Tooploox, a premier AI and product development company, Solvd now offers true end-to-end delivery—from strategic advisory and solution design to custom AI development and enterprise-scale implementation. Our capability centers combine deep technical expertise, proven delivery methodologies, and sector-specific knowledge to address complex business challenges quickly and effectively.
Solvd is migrating a Tier-1 US payments platform from a single AWS region to a multi-region architecture.
We're hiring multiple Database Engineers to implement the DynamoDB replication, failover, and operational tooling for this program. You'll work under the Principal Database Architect and partner with the client's data and SRE teams.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Implement and operate cross-region replication using Amazon DynamoDB Global Tables, ensuring reliable multi-region data replication, high availability, consistency, and disaster recovery.
- Codify everything in Terraform (or CDK).
- Build the observability layer for replication health: lag metrics, consistency checks, alarm thresholds, and runbook automation. Datadog is the primary observability stack; CloudWatch is the baseline.
- Author and execute failover and failback runbooks. Run game-days using AWS Fault Injection Service. Measure and report against RTO and RPO targets.
- Implement KMS cross-account replication, IAM service principals for replication roles, and the secrets and parameter strategy for region-local dependencies.
- Support data extraction from the monolith into microservices: build CDC pipelines (DMS, DynamoDB Streams, Kafka Connect, Debezium), validate data integrity, and own the cutover sequence for individual extractions.
- Pair with application engineers on connection-string abstraction, retry and idempotency patterns, and graceful degradation during region failover.
- Write design docs and runbooks the client team can take over after the engagement.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING (REQUIRED)
- 8+ years in production database engineering on AWS, with hands-on responsibility for at least one of: payments, banking, brokerage, or comparable financial-services workloads.
- Deep production experience with DynamoDB and at least two of: Aurora MySQL, Cassandra, ElastiCache (Redis or Valkey), DocumentDB, Neptune. Working knowledge of at least two more.
- Practical experience with cross-region replication in production using DynamoDB Global Tables: you've configured and operated multi-region DynamoDB deployments and handled failure scenarios such as replication conflicts, regional outages, replication delays, and consistency or version-skew issues.
- Strong Terraform (or CDK). You can build a multi-region module from scratch and explain the trade-offs.
- Comfort with CDC tooling (DMS, DDB Streams, Kafka Connect, or Debezium) and the operational gotchas (schema drift, ordering guarantees, replay).
- Linux, networking fundamentals (VPC, Transit Gateway, peering, DNS), and IAM / KMS proficiency.
- Solid written communication and ability to operate in a regulated client environment.
NICE TO HAVE
- Cassandra multi-DC operations experience at scale (nodetool workflows, repair strategy, tombstone management, cross-region anti-entropy).
- AWS MSK or Kafka MirrorMaker 2 experience for cross-region event replication.
- Experience with Datadog Database Monitoring and custom CloudWatch metrics.
- AWS Database Specialty or Solutions Architect Associate / Professional certifications.
When you join Solvd, you'll…
- Shape real-world AI-driven projects across key industries, working with clients from startup innovation to enterprise transformation.
- Be part of a global team with equal opportunities for collaboration across continents and cultures.
- Thrive in an inclusive environment that prioritizes continuous learning, innovation, and ethical AI standards.
Ready to make an impact?
If you're excited to build things that matter, champion responsible AI, and grow with some of the industry’s sharpest minds. Apply today and let’s innovate together.
Solvd is an equal opportunity employer.

About Nebius:
Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.
Built by engineers, for engineers. From large-scale GPU orchestration to inference optimization, we own the hard problems across compute, storage, networking and applied AI.
Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.
The Role
We're looking for a
Lead Software Engineer
to build software that makes network operations safe, scalable, and boring, as we launch new data centers in APAC and expand fast. This is not a "write scripts for configs" role: you'll build the tooling and services that sit between the network core (switches/ports/VLANs, traffic processors) and the cloud platform on top, using open source where it fits and building the missing pieces where it doesn't. At this stage of our APAC growth you will be hands-on: writing code, making architectural decisions and owning your area end to end, with real autonomy. Then you will grow the local engineering team around you.
Your responsibilities will include:
Build and maintain services and tooling that automate the network lifecycle: day-0 provisioning, day-N changes, drift detection, and operational verification
Make network changes safe and transparent: CI/CD workflows, diff/review tooling, staged rollouts/rollbacks, audit trails, and guardrails
Develop observability systems that scale across many sites: telemetry pipelines, signal quality, and tooling that shortens incident investigations
Close "last mile" gaps between the network and the platform: integrate source-of-truth data, expose APIs, and build reliable automation around it
Own architecture and technical decisions for your area in APAC, and align them with the European teams
Collaborate closely with network engineers and SREs to turn real operational pain into product-quality tooling
Hire and onboard the first engineers in the region, set code quality and engineering standards, and mentor the team
We expect you to have:
7+ years of professional software engineering experience (or equivalent practical background), including experience as a tech lead or team lead with broad ownership
Strong coding skills and ownership mindset: you can ship and operate reliable services
Proficiency in
Go
or readiness to switch;
Python
is also welcome (other languages can be useful for OSS debugging/fixes)
Ability to work autonomously in an early-stage environment, make decisions with incomplete information, and build processes from scratch
Willingness to stay hands-on while leading and growing a team
You don't have to be a Network expert
, but we expect you to have interest in infrastructure and/or network
It will be an added bonus if you have:
Background in networking (ex-network engineer, CCNP/education, DC networking exposure) or strong interest and proven ability to learn fast
Experience building automation/infra tooling: CI/CD, IaC, testing/staging environments, or "network-as-code" style workflows
Low-level networking / datapath experience: eBPF/XDP, DPDK, kernel networking, traffic processing systems
Experience designing high-load services and observability platforms (metrics/logs/traces, alerting, regression detection)
Contributions to open source or experience extending/debugging OSS components in production environments
Experience building an engineering team from scratch or launching a new engineering hub
We expect Engineers to:
Manage large-scale projects involving multiple stakeholders across regions
Break down complex tasks and guide both their own work and that of more junior colleagues
Be experts in specific technologies and write high-quality code that can serve as a reference
Assess task priority and focus on high-impact work, avoiding low-value efforts
Have strong architectural thinking and contribute to system design
Lead hiring in the region: define the profile, run interviews, and make hiring decisions
Share knowledge and mentor others
Benefits & Perks:
Competitive compensation
Career growth and learning opportunities
Flexibility and ownership
Collaborative and innovative culture
Opportunity to work on impactful AI projects
International environment and talented teams
What's it like to work at Nebius:
Fast moving - Bold thinking - Constant growth - Meaningful impact - Trust and real ownership - Opportunity to shape the future of AI
Equal Opportunity Statement:
Nebius is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace and to providing equal employment opportunities in all aspects of employment. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, ancestry, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by applicable law.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the country in which they apply and will be required to provide proof of employment eligibility as a condition of hire.
If you need accommodations during the application process, please let us know.
-5+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering. -4+ years of hands-on experience with GCP, Terraform, and Terragrunt.

The Role
We're looking for a
Lead Site Reliability Engineer
to build and run the fundamental part of Nebius in APAC: the Network, the infrastructure everything else depends on. We are at the early stage of our APAC expansion, so this is a hands-on role. You will define reliability targets, write automation and handle incidents yourself, with a high degree of independence from the European teams. As the region grows, you will build and lead the local SRE team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Define and own reliability goals for network services and critical paths in the region (SLIs/SLOs, availability targets, error budgets where it makes sense)
Drive reliability improvements across the whole APAC network: not only services, but also site readiness, inter-site connectivity (DCI), and operational standards for new data centers
Own incident response for your areas, lead investigations/postmortems, and turn failures into durable fixes (not repeated firefighting); set up on-call and incident management practices for the region
Build and evolve observability: actionable metrics/logs/traces, alerting, and faster debug loops during and after incidents
Design safer change workflows: automation, CI/CD, test/staging environments, canarying, rollbacks, and auditability for network changes
Work closely with network engineers and platform teams in APAC and Europe to embed operability into designs and keep operations practical and fast
Hire, onboard and mentor the first SREs in the region and set the engineering bar for the team
Coordinate with European teams on handoffs and coverage across time zones
We expect you to have:
7+ years of experience in SRE / infrastructure engineering, including experience leading a team or acting as a technical lead with broad ownership of production systems
Strong production Linux fundamentals and a structured approach to debugging complex systems
Solid understanding of networking basics and how real networks fail (control plane vs data plane, latency/loss, failure domains, etc.)
Hands-on experience operating high-availability systems and improving them over time (not just "keeping lights on")
Ability to write and maintain software/automation (Go is common for us; Python is also welcome)
Experience with modern infrastructure tooling (e.g., IaC, CI/CD, container platforms) and comfort automating operational workflows
Ability to work independently in an early-stage environment and to build processes and a team from scratch
Willingness to stay hands-on while leading and growing a team
It will be an added bonus if you have:
Experience with high-throughput traffic processing: load balancers, tunneling/decap, NAT64, or similar datapath-heavy systems
Low-level networking performance/debug background (eBPF/XDP, DPDK, perf/ftrace, kernel networking internals)
Experience building network-safe delivery pipelines (testing labs, staged rollouts, automated verification, drift detection)
Background with large-scale network observability/telemetry (routing/flow telemetry, regression detection at scale)
Knowledge of the APAC network landscape (carriers, IX, regional connectivity and regulatory specifics)
Benefits & Perks:
Competitive compensation
Career growth and learning opportunities
Flexibility and ownership
Collaborative and innovative culture
Opportunity to work on impactful AI projects

Find opportunities by analysing where time is lost, errors occur or work is repeated. Prioritise those with a clear baseline and measurable value.
Redesign processes with their users and control owners. Agree where AI adds value, where fixed rules work better and where a human must decide.
Build prototypes and working automations, and work with Product and Engineering on integrations and production support.

What is Restaurant Software?
Restaurants and other merchants use various software systems such as Point of Sale (POS), Reservations, Kitchen Display Systems (KDS), Payments, Inventory, Staffing, and the list goes on. These systems all need to speak to each other which they frequently don’t. It’s a mess, and we are fixing it.
From buying a croissant at a cafe to having dinner with friends, it’s a €4 Trillion+ global market and a critical part of everyday life in today's economy.
How we use AI at Tebi
We use AI the way our merchants use Tebi, to cut out the friction and get to what matters faster. We believe in a world where AI increases quality, efficiency and speed.
At Tebi, AI isn't a policy or a checkbox, it's just part of how we work. It helps us write, analyse, build, and improve but doesn’t make the last call. If there's a smarter way to do something, we want to find it.
