Keet is a fully peer-to-peer messaging and video calling app built on Holepunch's P2P stack. There are no servers, no middlemen, and no data harvesting. People talk directly to each other, with end-to-end encryption by design.
We're taking Keet to a billion users, competing head-on with WhatsApp and Telegram. Product sets the direction. We're looking for a Product Engineering Lead to turn that direction into features people love, built to a standard that holds up at global scale.
You lead the teams that build Keet's features: the API team, which adds feature-focused APIs to Keet's core, and the frontend team, which builds the React app on top, each with its own lead. You report directly to the CTO and take direction from product. Product owns the what and the why. You own the how and the engineering bar. The split is roughly 70% engineering leadership and 30% product.
You're a combination of three things. You're an engineering leader who has helped teams ship consumer products at speed. You have real product sense and can partner with PMs as an equal, shaping what gets built, not just executing it. And you have an intuition for distributed, local-first systems, so you can work fluently on top of a P2P engine without needing to build it yourself.
Responsabilities
Engineering
Run the API and frontend teams day to day: unblocking, reviewing, and keeping them shipping.
Set and hold a high engineering bar for performance, reliability, and clean APIs.
Own the technical design of features and the API surface between Keet's core and the app.
Make sure the API team works closely with our deep tech teams on code reviews, design, and anything that touches the engine.
Product Partnership
Work alongside Keet's product managers to turn vision and roadmap into scoped, buildable work.
Push back when scope and reality don't match, and propose better paths when they exist.
Bring an engineering perspective to product decisions, especially where P2P opens doors that centralized apps can't.
Help the team move fast, using AI tools and quick prototypes to validate ideas before committing to them.
Leadership
Create clarity around team goals and make sure everyone knows what success looks like.
Mentor team leads to build strong team operating systems, improve how their teams work with others, and grow as leaders.
Lead by example: roll up your sleeves when the team needs it, and step back when they're ready to own it.
Experience managing engineers or engineering leads who ship consumer product, ideally in chat, calling, or social apps.
Strong product sense: you can tell a good feature from a busy one.
Intuition for distributed and local-first systems. Offline-first and eventual consistency should feel natural. You don't need P2P protocol expertise, because our core abstracts it away.
Deep JavaScript and React.
Initiative, curiosity, resilience, and the ability to give and receive direct critique.
Bonus: experience with local-first apps, CRDTs or sync engines, offline-capable mobile or desktop apps, or open source.

Department overview:
The Senior Solutions Architect shapes the technical approach for moving employee technology support from reactive response toward predictive detection, safe self-healing, and higher value enablement. The role turns service needs into cross-platform architecture, reusable patterns, and clear implementation guidance. What you’ll be doing:
Architecture and technical direction
Lead technical discovery for complex, cross-platform employee technology opportunities and define target architectures, integration patterns, and implementation options.
Design the flow from service and endpoint signals through detection, diagnosis, approved remediation, escalation, and outcome recording.
Set reusable standards for APIs, identity, data handling, observability, testing, rollback, and operational ownership in automation solutions.
Assess build versus buy options and emerging AI capabilities against employee value, technical feasibility, security, and supportability.

ServiceNow, Moveworks, Jira, Slack, Nexthink,
Jamf
, Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Graph, and related services exchange signals, context, actions, and outcomes where those platforms are in scope.

Partner with platform owners to align solution designs with enterprise architecture, security, privacy, and operational standards;
identify
dependencies and ownership before delivery.
Guide designs that combine endpoint telemetry, service history, and employee context without
assuming that
a signal alone proves an
issue
or that automation always
warrants
an action.
Predictive support and AI
Design a portfolio of use cases spanning proactive detection, guided
self service
,
assisted
support, and controlled
self healing
, with criteria for choosing the
appropriate response
.
Define safeguards for AI assisted workflows, including source quality, evaluation, human review where needed, auditability, and paths for uncertain or failed outcomes.
Establish measurement approaches with service owners that separate automation execution, resolution, employee impact, and any verified change in support demand.
Evaluate
new technology
through focused proofs of concept and recommend where it should be adopted, improved, or deferred.
Technical engineering
Design or review advanced Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, and API based components when architectural risk or reuse
warrants
direct involvement.
Set expectations for code quality, version control, testing, performance, resilience, and documentation across automation solutions.
Engineering leadership and partnership
Review high-impact solution designs and resolve architectural tradeoffs with platform owners, security partners, and delivery teams.
Provide reference designs, decision records, and guidance that engineering teams can use in delivery.
Prototype selected high-risk elements to validate feasibility and guide production implementation of critical integrations.
Mentor engineers and contribute technical input to the employee technology roadmap.
What we are looking for:
Required
Significant experience
designing and delivering enterprise integrations or automation across multiple teams and platforms.
Evidence of making sound architecture decisions and guiding solutions from concept through production operation.
Strong knowledge of APIs, scripting or software engineering, security controls, reliability, and operational design.
Ability to explain technical tradeoffs and work effectively with engineering, operations,
platform
, and business stakeholders.

Why work at Nebius
Nebius is leading a new era in cloud computing to serve the global AI economy. We create the tools and resources our customers need to solve real-world challenges and transform industries, without massive infrastructure costs or the need to build large in-house AI/ML teams. Our employees work at the cutting edge of AI cloud infrastructure alongside some of the most experienced and innovative leaders and engineers in the field.
Where we work
Headquartered in Amsterdam and listed on Nasdaq, Nebius has a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, North America, and Israel. Our teams bring together deep expertise across hardware, software, networking, data center infrastructure, and AI to build and operate the infrastructure behind large-scale GPU computing.
The team
You will build and lead the organization responsible for deploying and operating Nebius AI infrastructure at our Independence, Missouri campus. Your team will bring together data center IT operations, critical facilities, networking, logistics, operational readiness, and supporting functions.
You will work closely with hardware, network, engineering, cloud, commercial, and corporate teams to bring compute capacity into service and establish reliable, scalable operations.
The role
We are seeking a
General Manager, Data Center
to lead the organizational build-out, hardware deployment, operational readiness, and ongoing performance of our gigawatt-scale data center campus in Independence, Missouri. This is an on-site leadership role with responsibility for the Independence campus.
You will have autonomy to design the campus organization, select your leadership team, define reporting lines, and establish the operating model within agreed budgets and company standards. You will own operational readiness and campus performance across critical facilities and IT infrastructure, aligning people, systems, and service partners to deliver reliable customer capacity.
The facility is currently under construction. You will partner with construction, engineering, and critical facilities teams to align facility completion, commissioning, and handover with hardware deployment and operational readiness. You will establish the operating team and coordinate GPU, server, network, and storage installation, integration, acceptance testing, and cloud readiness with the responsible technical teams and service providers.
This role offers the opportunity to shape the operating practices that support Nebius as its AI infrastructure business grows.
Your responsibilities will include:
Organization Design and Leadership
Design and build the campus organization, including functional leadership, building and shift coverage, reporting lines, and clear decision authority.
Hire, lead, and develop directors, data center managers, and operations teams in partnership with Talent Acquisition and HR.
Own the phased workforce plan, aligning recruitment, training, contractor support, and leadership coverage with hardware deployment, acceptance testing, and production milestones.
Establish performance expectations, consistent technical competency standards, and succession plans that support reliable campus operations and sustained performance.
Operational Deployment and Readiness
Own the integrated operational readiness plan connecting facility completion and handover milestones, equipment delivery, hardware installation, network and storage integration, staffing, and customer service readiness.
Coordinate with construction and facilities teams to verify power, cooling, and space readiness before deployment; manage dependencies and escalate gaps that could delay bringing capacity into service.
Define operational acceptance criteria for the campus and deployed infrastructure, coordinate readiness and acceptance testing with technical owners, and accept or withhold operational handover against agreed requirements.
Ensure trained teams, tested procedures, critical spares, asset records, monitoring, and vendor support are in place before production operations begin.
Coordinate GPU, server, network fabric, storage, and cloud readiness with technical owners, and jointly confirm that released capacity can support customer workloads.
Sequence hardware installation, integration, and production changes to protect live environments as additional compute capacity comes online.
Campus Operations and Reliability
Own end-to-end campus operations across critical facilities and IT infrastructure, delivering agreed uptime, performance, and service levels.
Establish 24/7 coverage, maintenance governance, change control, incident command, root-cause analysis, and business continuity practices.
Ensure clear responsibility across power, liquid cooling, controls, hardware, networking, and cloud interfaces; hold owners accountable for corrective actions.
Use monitoring, automation, and performance reporting to improve deployment throughput, repair turnaround, reliability, and operating efficiency.
Financial Capacity and Asset Management
Own campus operating budgets, workforce costs, vendor expenditure, and forecasts within delegated authority; contribute to capital planning and investment priorities.
Align power, cooling, rack space, equipment, and staffing capacity with deployment plans, and address constraints affecting customer commitments.
Establish asset inventory, receiving, logistics, critical spares, repair, warranty-return, and secure disposition processes.
Track budget variance, rework, delayed capacity, and operational losses; drive corrective actions and report financial impacts clearly.
Partners, City Coordination, Safety and Executive Accountability
Serve as the primary operational interface with utilities, infrastructure providers, equipment manufacturers, vendors, and service partners.
Coordinate with City of Independence departments alongside Public Affairs and Legal on site readiness, permitting and inspections, utility interfaces, emergency preparedness, and ongoing operational matters; align external communications and commitments with the responsible teams.
Hold providers accountable for safety, quality, delivery milestones, response times, and contractual service performance.
Ensure safety, environmental, physical security, and applicable compliance requirements are implemented with the responsible specialists and corporate teams.
Provide executive visibility into launch progress, workforce readiness, operating performance, financial forecasts, and risks requiring decisions.
Operational Scalability and Leadership Development
Develop repeatable deployment standards, staffing models, acceptance practices, and operating procedures that support the campus as compute capacity scales.
Build leadership succession and delegation practices that sustain reliable operations and develop future infrastructure leaders.
Share lessons and operational improvements with the broader Nebius infrastructure organization.
We expect you to have:
10+ years of experience in data center, cloud infrastructure, or comparable mission-critical operations, including senior leadership responsibility.
A track record of building and scaling organizations and leading managers across multiple technical and operational functions.
Experience leading hardware deployment, infrastructure integration, operational acceptance, or major compute capacity expansion into production service.
Strong understanding of critical facilities, including power and cooling, and how those systems affect IT availability and high-density compute operations.
Leadership experience across compute, networking, storage, and infrastructure lifecycle management, with the technical judgment to coordinate specialist teams.
Demonstrated ownership of operating budgets, workforce planning, vendor performance, and executive reporting.
Experience leading incident response, change management, risk reduction, and service improvement in high-availability environments.
The ability to exercise sound judgment, make decisions with incomplete information, address underperformance directly, and align stakeholders around clear outcomes.
Ability to work on site in Independence, Missouri and provide visible leadership through deployment, launch, and ongoing operations.
Nice to have:
Experience in hyperscale, AI, GPU, or high-performance computing environments, including large-scale GPU deployments and high-density infrastructure.
Experience with liquid-cooled environments and the operational interfaces between cooling systems, GPU platforms, and network fabrics.
Experience managing multiple campuses or regional operations and transferring operating practices across sites.
Experience building operating organizations and establishing processes during initial hardware deployment and the transition into production service.
Experience using infrastructure automation, telemetry, and reliability data to improve capacity delivery and operating performance.
