Managing marketing and promotional planning for our Retail/Non-Food partners as they scale on the platform.
Ensuring that we are developing an ongoing attractive value proposition for customers, including selection, promotions, pricing, and service levels.
Working closely with compliance, legal, and operations to ensure best practices
Owning the execution of site roll-outs as we scale the proposition, mapping our gaps in coverage for partner expansion
Representing Deliveroo across your partner’s organisation, and ensuring that our internal stakeholders are supporting where appropriate.
What You'll Need To Thrive
Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others:
3-4 years of experience in an account management, business development/new business, or commercial role.
Experience in working within the Retail and/or Pharmacy industry is required
Experienced negotiator with the ability to drive mutual value for both partners and Deliveroo
Partner obsessed, with effective relationship building, organisation, and communication skills, whether face to face, through video, phone, or email.
Confident working with and analysing data - able to cut through the noise to understand what performance improvements will help grow your Retail partners, in order to make clear and actionable recommendations.
Able to create ideas and strategies to drive the growth of our joint business with our partners, with a willingness to trial at pace.

Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation and growth drive everything we do. Our Data Science organisation sits at the heart of Deliveroo, powering decision-making across product, commercial and operational teams through experimentation and causal inference.
We’re hiring multiple Data Science Managers across different areas of the business. All of these roles are at the same level. Rather than hiring for one fixed team, we use the interview process to understand your strengths, interests and development areas, and then align you to the right scope and team at the end of the process, based on your background, interview performance, preferences and current business needs.
We’re also advertising some opportunities separately where particular domain experience is especially relevant. You only need to submit one application, as we’ll consider your profile across all suitable Data Science Manager vacancies. Before an offer is made, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the proposed team, either virtually or at our London headquarters, and learn more about the role’s scope and priorities.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll own the analytical direction and measurable impact of a product or business area, while leading and developing a high-performing team of data scientists or machine learning engineers.
Our Data Science Managers work across a range of consumer, product and commercial areas. Depending on the team you join, your work could focus on areas such as customer retention and loyalty, pricing and promotions, discovery and personalisation, or customer acquisition and engagement.
Across all roles, you’ll lead and develop your team, set the analytical direction for your area and decide which problems are worth solving. You’ll ensure data science work translates into better product and commercial decisions, not just analysis.
You’ll remain hands-on while managing a team, partnering with Product, Engineering, Ops, Marketing and Finance as a thought partner. You’ll set the bar for analytical rigour, prioritisation and impact across noisy metrics, real trade-offs and strong stakeholder opinions.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others:
Experience line managing data scientists and supporting their career development
A strong background as a senior individual contributor, with hands-on experience in experimentation, causal inference or applied machine learning
Proven ability to identify high-impact opportunities and turn insights into clear strategy and execution
Confidence working with senior stakeholders and explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Comfort operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments where prioritisation and judgement matter as much as technical skill
Why Join Us?
At Deliveroo, you’ll work on real-world problems at global scale, across a three-sided marketplace that is constantly evolving.
We’re food lovers, problem solvers, community organisers and more, united by a shared drive to make things better. Working here, you can expect:
High autonomy to shape strategy and deliver meaningful impact
Support to learn and grow through L&D programmes, mentoring and peer learning
A strong focus on wellbeing, with benefits that vary by country
A place to belong, with a diverse global workforce and active employee communities
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

We’re looking for a Product Manager to join our London team. This is a hybrid role. In this role, you’ll help us define and build purpose-built, highly differentiated shopping experiences across our growing portfolio of Retail categories.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be joining the Retail Categories team. Retail only wins category by category; a single, generic shopping experience cannot do justice to the unique ways people buy apparel, auto parts, or home improvement goods. This role owns the end-to-end category shopping experience for a defined portfolio, transforming broad customer promises into shipped surfaces and distinct emotional hooks that drive habitual buying behavior.
Here’s what your day-to-day might look like:
Define Category Strategy:
Formulate the category experience strategy and decide which categories and bets to invest in first, sequencing for maximum growth and impact.
Execute Signature Product Bets:
Translate each category's promise into concrete, testable product bets—such as personal-shopper features using doorstep returns for Apparel or fitment-accurate part lookup for Auto Parts—and ship them end to end.
Optimise Category Surfaces:
Own the category merchandising and storefront surfaces that differentiate one vertical from another while maintaining a cohesive and intuitive Retail experience.
Leverage Platform Capabilities:
Partner with shared platform infrastructure (such as doorstep returns or fulfillment) to build bespoke category experiences without rebuilding core infrastructure.
Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner deeply with BD, Sales, Catalog, and Search teams to ensure category surfaces are powered by accurate data and align cleanly with merchant relationships.
Measure Impact:
Use data, customer insight, and experimentation to prioritise initiatives, define success metrics, and directly move the needle on conversion and repeat purchases.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
Essential
Proven Consumer Product Experience:
Demonstrated success in product management on consumer-facing products, ideally within e-commerce, marketplaces, or multi-sided platforms.
Track Record of 0-to-1 Innovation:
Proven ability to ship brand-new or highly differentiated shopping experiences, navigating ambiguity to break broad opportunities into focused, testable bets.
Strong Analytical Capabilities:
Comfort driving data-informed prioritisation, establishing robust success metrics, and utilising experimentation to measure category-level impact.
Stakeholder & Business Partnership:
Experience partnering closely with cross-functional product teams (Engineering, Design, Analytics) as well as commercial teams like BD and Sales to align business needs with product strategy.
Customer-Obsessed Product Instinct:
A natural intuition for customer behaviour, understanding what makes a shopping experience feel right and how to design the emotional hook that drives retention.
Nice to Have
Specialised Retail Domain Knowledge:
Prior experience working with merchandising, category management, product detail pages (PDP), or specialised shopping flows.
Data Structure Familiarity:
Experience working alongside Catalog or Search product areas to power front-end surfaces with complex item data.

Location: London, United Kingdom - Deliveroo
Our Global Structure
Deliveroo is now part of DoorDash, bringing together teams with even greater reach, scale, and ambition. Depending on your role, you may collaborate with teammates, systems, and leaders across DoorDash and Wolt. Together, we’re unlocking new possibilities as one global team.
The Role
Deliveroo is on a mission to transform the way the world thinks about food delivery, and B2B marketing is central to how we grow our merchant business. We're looking for a B2B Demand Generation Manager to own paid demand generation across our operating markets and help us win in one of the most competitive categories in tech. This is a high-autonomy, high-impact role for a seasoned performance marketer who can own demand gen end-to-end — from strategy and channel mix through to creative, execution, and the leads that actually convert into live, revenue-generating merchants.
Deliveroo operates in a focused set of markets, which means local relevance is everything. You'll work hand-in-hand with country Sales and commercial teams to understand each market's strategy, adapt the demand gen playbook to local realities, and choose the channels and tactics that will move the needle in each one. Rather than running a single global template, you'll tailor your approach country by country while building the repeatable systems that let us scale what works.
You'll manage significant budgets across a broad channel mix (Meta, TikTok, Google, programmatic and beyond) and you'll be equally comfortable crafting a sharp lead-gen campaign and a brand awareness push to win back share against multiple well-funded competitors. You'll partner with creatives to shape intelligent, well-positioned campaigns and testing winners, learning with data what works and can be scaled.
What you'll be responsible for
Owning end-to-end paid demand generation across our markets and B2B products, managing significant budgets across a broad channel mix (Meta, TikTok, Google, programmatic and beyond), experimenting with locally relevant tactics and turning what works into scalable playbooks;
Partnering closely with country Sales and commercial stakeholders to understand local strategy and market dynamics, and adapting the demand gen playbook to each market;
Building a lead generation engine that converts, looking beyond raw lead volume to lead quality, merchants that go live, and the GOV (Gross Order Value) they generate
Partnering with creative on full-funnel campaigns and sharp positioning, from lead generation through to brand awareness that defends and grows share in a highly competitive category, working independently with country teams;
Driving automation and AI-assisted workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort;
Supporting new product and feature launches with go-to-market demand generation campaigns;
Owning reporting and measurement, defining success from spend through to live merchants and GOV, and building strong relationships with Sales, Product and commercial teams to drive real business impact.
What you'll be able to demonstrate
Essential
A seasoned performance marketer with 5–8 years running high-budget B2B paid campaigns across multiple channels with real strength in Meta, TikTok and Google Search and across multiple countries, products or clients;
SMB B2B experience: you build lead generation pipelines that convert, thinking beyond the lead to good leads, merchants that go live, and the GOV they generate;
Strong local and commercial instinct: you work naturally with Sales, adapt to each country's strategy, and communicate clearly in English (other languages a plus);
Ability to plan and optimise media investment against business and campaign-level KPIs, and to do in-house media buying;
A spark of creativity and a sharp eye for positioning, you partner with creatives to craft intelligent campaigns and operate independently with country teams;
Analytical and data-driven: you define KPIs, form hypotheses, design tests for statistically significant results, and scale up what works;
Genuine interest in using AI and automation to improve how you work, with concrete examples to back it up.
Nice to have
Familiarity with the Food or Retail industries;
Experience aligning inbound and outbound motions, and knowledge of data enrichment and attribution (e.g. Clay, Cognism, ZoomInfo), ABM or intent-based tools;
Experience with content syndication, paid PR or retail media.
