You will partner with Account Executives to qualify, progress, and close revenue opportunities with Fortune 500 prospects — guiding them through demos, architecture discussions, and proofs-of-concept that prove Coder’s value for both human developers and the AI coding agents working alongside them.
This is not a scripted-demo-only role. You are equally comfortable running a deep technical proof-of-concept and stepping back to translate a technical win into a business case an economic buyer will act on. You are energized by ambiguity, motivated by winning deals the right way, and capable of bringing the voice of the prospect back into how Coder builds and sells.
What you will be doing:
- Own the technical relationship with prospects through pre-sales, and efficiently manage towards a technical win
- Demo the Coder platform from the developer, administrator, and AI agent workflow perspectives
- Install Coder on cloud and on-prem Kubernetes or VM infrastructure
- Run proofs-of-concept that prove Coder’s value including for agentic and LLM-powered development workflows and accelerate deals
- Evolve into a subject-matter expert on Cloud Development Environments, agentic AI development, and their business impact
- Serve as the prospect’s and customer’s voice, routing insights to Engineering and Product
- Track and report product issues and feature requests using Linear
- Troubleshoot Coder deployments, networking, and Kubernetes components during evaluation
- Contribute pull requests to Coder’s documentation
What you bring:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer selling infrastructure or developer tooling
- Strong customer-facing skills that win trust with technical stakeholders
- Ability to translate technical hurdles into business value in real time
- Understand agentic AI software development use cases and advocate passionately where appropriate
- Comfortable leading architecture demos and deep-dive troubleshooting sessions
- Deep Linux fundamentals and comfort at the command line
- 3+ years hands-on with Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure
- 3+ years with Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code tooling
- Solid grasp of networking: ingress controllers, proxies, load balancers
- Experience with AI tooling at both the user level and infrastructure level (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) as well as LLM infrastructure such as model proxies and LLM routing layers (e.g. LiteLLM) and the ability to speak credibly to how enterprises evaluate and adopt them
- Startup-speed execution, ownership mindset, and a player-coach attitude
Bonus tacos if you have
- (Tacos? If you need an ice-breaker, ask how we say thanks by giving tacos!)
- Success at both high-growth startups and larger software vendors
- Direct experience deploying or supporting AI coding agents in customer environments (e.g. Claude Code, Devin, or similar autonomous/semi-autonomous dev tools)
- Background in CI/CD, DevOps, or developer-platform products
- Experience in platform engineering or developer platform teams
- Kubernetes, AWS, or related certifications

AI USE DURING THE INTERVIEW PROCESS

OUR USE OF AI IN HIRING
We use AI tools to help manage our recruitment process efficiently and fairly. Specifically:
- Ashby and Brainerr help us review inbound applications by surfacing candidates who best match the role requirements we've defined. This tool does not make hiring decisions; it helps our team prioritize which applications to review first.
- Granola takes notes during our interview calls so our team can focus on the conversation with you.
All hiring decisions are made by humans. Our team reviews applications, conducts interviews, and makes final selections. AI tools assist us but never replace human judgment, and these practices are conducted in compliance with applicable data protection, AI governance, and labor laws. Your data is not used to train AI models.
In accordance with New York City Local Law 144, an independent bias audit has been conducted on "Automated Employment Decision Tools"; results are available for Ashby https://www.ashbyhq.com/downloadables/ashby-bias-audit-08-2024.pdf.

About GiveDirectly
What if the most effective way to fight poverty was also the simplest: give people money and trust them to decide what they need?
Since 2011, GiveDirectly has proven that idea at scale. We’ve delivered more than $1B in cash directly to 2+ million people living in poverty and crisis across 15 countries, and rigorous research shows the results: healthier kids, stronger businesses, sturdier homes, and more resilient families and local economies. Cash is now widely recognized as one of the most scalable, cost-effective, and dignified forms of aid.
Our ambition goes beyond our own programs. We want cash to become the benchmark for aid, much as the index fund became the benchmark for investing, so that every aid dollar is held to one question:
is this doing more good than giving the money directly to people living in poverty?
We’re growing fast, and this is a rare and important moment to join.
We expect to hit $1B in revenue in 2026 with significant growth forecast for 2027. At the same time we are building a new technology stack and operating model designed for a roughly 10x change in scale, and we are actively pursuing partnerships with major funders to move even more money in bigger ways, to people who need it. We are known for our extensive integration of technology into field processes; our quantitative approach to performance measurement; and our commitment to rigorous, independent, experimental evaluation of our impact, with multiple Randomized Control Trials completed and others in progress.
How we work
Our team spans 20+ countries and 69 languages. Our culture is candid, analytical, and non-hierarchical. We expect high ownership and give people real responsibility early. Our values are central to how we hire, work, and grow, and they are deliberately opinionated:
Recipients first.
Recipients’ preferences come before those of donors or ourselves.
Team next.
We optimize for organizational success, not individual success.
Be proactively candid.
We say what we believe and share information openly.
Create positive energy.
We aim to be a source of energy for colleagues, not a drain.
Think rigorously; act quickly.
We reason from first principles, then act rather than debate.
Know yourself and grow.
We own our imperfections and seek feedback to grow.
Accept reality. Propose solutions.
We focus on what can change and bring solutions, not just problems.
Be productively ambitious.
We take risks for step-change impact, not incremental progress.
If they describe how you like to work and they energize you, this could be a great fit.

Mattermost is the leading collaborative workflow platform for defense, intelligence, security, and critical infrastructure. Trusted by the U.S. Department of War and Fortune 500s, our platform runs on-premises and in private clouds, delivering secure messaging, file sharing, workflow automation, audio/screenshare, and project management—all with full data and operational control. Mattermost powers high-stakes workflows across mission planning, real-time, real-world operations, DevSecOps, incident response, and cyber defense—enabling secure collaboration from tactical edge and DDIL environments to enterprise HQ. Teams operate across web, desktop, and mobile, with embedded interoperability for Microsoft Teams, Outlook, and Microsoft 365.

www.mattermost.com
We are seeking a
Staff Full Stack Engineer
to set the technical direction for and scale Mattermost’s core web platform for teams operating in defense and critical infrastructure sectors. You’ll drive architecture and technical strategy across our Go backend and React/TypeScript web frontend — partnering across teams to ship features that hold up under strict security, compliance, and reliability requirements
.
Our engineering culture is AI-forward. We expect engineers to work fluently with AI coding agents such as Claude Code day-to-day — for scaffolding, refactors, code review, and test generation — and treat that as core craft rather than a shortcut. We would rather hire smart people who get stuff done than chase an exact tech-stack match. If you have a track record of shipping and owning complex software end-to-end, we want to hear from you.
What You Will Do
Define and drive the technical architecture and roadmap for Mattermost’s core web platform across multiple engineering teams, spanning Go, React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Redis
Set org-wide standards and best practices for AI-agentic engineering workflows — going beyond personal fluency with tools like Claude Code and Cursor to shape how the broader engineering org adopts them, while retaining accountability for correctness, security, and design decisions
Lead the internal tooling and testing infrastructure strategy that speeds up delivery for the broader engineering org, not just your immediate team
Own the testing strategy and quality bar across frontend and backend systems, and hold other engineers accountable to it through design reviews and mentorship
Drive architectural decisions for REST and WebSocket API design, grounded in deep networking fundamentals
Partner directly with security, compliance, and product leadership on strategic technical bets tied to our government and enterprise customer requirements
Mentor senior engineers and act as a technical multiplier across the org
Contribute to and help shape technical direction for Mattermost’s open-source codebase
What We Are Looking For
Required:
Senior full-stack development experience in Go and React (or a comparable stack), with a track record of owning complex systems end-to-end
Proven experience designing and owning distributed systems or high-availability service architecture at scale
Experience designing and consuming REST and WebSocket APIs with solid networking fundamentals
Relational database experience including PostgreSQL, schema design, and query optimization
Hands-on daily fluency directing AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot for scaffolding, refactors, code review, and test generation — with the judgment to know when to trust the output and when to take the wheel yourself
Demonstrated ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams without relying on formal authority
Experience mentoring senior engineers and raising the technical bar for a broader team
Comfortable operating in regulated or high-compliance environments (e.g., enterprise security, government, or critical infrastructure requirements)
Nice to Have:
Prior experience operating as a staff, principal, or technical lead engineer at another company
Experience maintaining (not just contributing to) an open-source project
Program-level familiarity with compliance frameworks relevant to defense or government customers (e.g., FedRAMP, ITAR)
Experience helping scale engineering practices or standards across a growing organization
Background in defense, intelligence, or critical infrastructure products
Experience building tools, skills, or workflows on top of AI coding agents including MCP servers, agent skills, or CI-integrated agents
How Success Is Measured
First 90 Days: Build cross-team credibility by shipping a meaningful full-stack feature on the core platform, while assessing the technical landscape and identifying the highest-leverage architectural or process improvements to pursue.
Why Mattermost

Mission-driven work: Your contributions directly support the organizations and missions that depend on secure, reliable collaboration including the U.S. Department of War and critical infrastructure operators worldwide
Remote-first culture: Work from anywhere with a globally distributed, high-trust team built for autonomy and ownership
AI-forward environment: We actively adopt and build AI-enabled workflows. Agentic development is core craft here, not a novelty
End-to-end ownership: Ship and own complex software across the full stack with real accountability for what you build

Target Salary Range: $195,001 – $238,965
Canada Eligibility & Compliance
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada without current or future sponsorship.
This role may require obtaining and maintaining a government security clearance or equivalent designation (such as Reliability Status or Secret clearance under Canada's Controlled Goods Program), depending on customer engagement. Candidates must meet eligibility requirements to be considered.
Given Mattermost's work with U.S. defense and government customers, some positions may also require compliance with U.S. export control laws, including EAR and ITAR, which can apply to non-U.S. based employees working on covered technical data. About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About the role
We are looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager to join our Procurement team. You will own strategic sourcing for critical cloud infrastructure and AI providers, helping Vercel secure the compute, storage, and infrastructure capacity we need as we scale. You will develop commercial models that balance competitive economics with flexibility, avoiding commitments that constrain growth while creating transparent pricing that improves as our usage scales. Vercel's spend and revenue are scaling fast, and our sourcing motion has to scale with it — you'll know when to move fast versus when to hold the line on process, partnering closely with Legal, FP&A, and Security to get deals done without unnecessary friction. This role reports to the Head of Procurement.
If you’re based within a pre-determined commuting distance of one of our offices (SF, NY, London, or Berlin), the role includes in-office anchor days on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. For location-specific details, please connect with our recruiting team.
What you'll do
Lead sourcing strategy and commercial negotiations with cloud infrastructure providers and hyperscalers.
Structure complex IaaS, compute, storage, and capacity agreements that balance committed spend, consumption growth, flexibility, and long-term unit economics.
Design pricing structures (tiered, committed-volume, usage-based) that reflect how Vercel actually consumes vendor services, and that scale with our growth trajectory.
Own strategic sourcing for emerging AI infrastructure and hyperscaler relationships, including commercial models supporting high-volume or customer-facing AI workloads.
Partner with Engineering, Finance, Legal, and other teams to forecast demand, understand technical requirements, evaluate suppliers, and translate Vercel's growth into sourcing leverage.
Analyze provider pricing, consumption patterns, contract structures, and market dynamics to identify opportunities to improve economics and reduce commercial risk.
Build and maintain AI-powered sourcing tools and playbooks (leveraging Claude, v0, etc.) for redlining, negotiation prep, benchmarking, and vendor reporting — raising throughput and deal quality across the team.
Help define what an AI-native sourcing function looks like at Vercel as spend and deal volume continue to climb.
What you need
Strong analytical skills — rate/unit-cost analysis, TCO modeling, pricing model design — able to find the real economics underneath a vendor proposal.
Comfortable operating at pace: high deal volume, ambiguity, imperfect information, and a bias toward execution over perfection.
Clear, direct communicator with executives, both internally and across the negotiating table.
You have significant strategic sourcing experience owning cloud infrastructure deals, including direct experience negotiating with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle, or comparable infrastructure providers.
You understand cloud infrastructure commercial models, including IaaS, compute, storage, consumption-based pricing, committed spend, discounts, and capacity agreements.
You have led complex, high-value negotiations where rapidly changing consumption makes forecasting and long-term commitments challenging.
You can evaluate the tradeoffs between commitment, flexibility, unit economics, pricing transparency, and negotiating leverage as infrastructure usage scales.
You have experience partnering with technical and financial stakeholders to translate infrastructure requirements and forecasts into sourcing and negotiation strategies.
You have experience managing strategic supplier relationships and contracts through negotiation, execution, consumption monitoring, and renewal.
Bonus if you
Have experience sourcing AI/ML infrastructure, data services, or technical services for an engineering-heavy organization.
Have negotiated directly with AI hyperscalers or providers of large-scale AI compute and inference infrastructure.
Have experience sourcing SaaS and other enterprise software alongside infrastructure.
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive compensation package, including equity.
Inclusive Healthcare Package.
Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
Flexible Time Off.
We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.
The San Francisco, CA base pay range for this role is $150,000 - $180,000. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role. We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.
You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.
This is a fully remote position and we're considering candidates in the US EST.
About Product Management:
As a Product Manager at Grafana Labs, you'll develop a vision and strategy for your product domain. You will own your product’s roadmap, collateral, and market research, and you will collaborate with Grafana leadership on fine-tuning your product’s goals. You will be the primary advocate and expert in your area, with a strong ability to communicate needs, functionality, and details effectively both to external customers and internal stakeholders. The teams and people you will be interacting with will be 100% remote and globally distributed, so strong and proactive communication is essential.
Product Managers are the bridge that connect Engineering, Design, and UX to GTM. You are a facilitator who ensures the free flow of information across these teams and are expected to be technically proficient when representing our products to our customers.
The opportunity:
As the Staff Product Manager for OpenTelemetry Experience, you’ll own the end-to-end journey for helping people and agents instrument workloads and successfully send useful OpenTelemetry data to Grafana Cloud.
Your mission is to make Grafana Cloud the easiest and most trusted destination for OpenTelemetry workloads. You’ll reduce the uncertainty, complexity, and failure points users encounter between deciding to adopt OpenTelemetry and receiving healthy, correctly attributed, and actionable telemetry in Grafana Cloud.
Teams can instrument workloads, directly or with the help of coding agents, through OpenTelemetry SDKs, automatic instrumentation technologies such as Beyla and SDK injection, or client-side OpenTelemetry Collectors. Each path presents different decisions, deployment requirements, configuration steps, and potential failure modes. You’ll define a coherent experience that helps users choose the right approach, complete setup successfully, troubleshoot problems, and understand whether their telemetry is healthy and useful. You’ll design a future in which a growing share of instrumentation work is performed by coding agents acting on behalf of developers. This means treating agents are first-class participants in the experience and ensuring that instrumentation options, configuration requirements, errors, and validation signals are structured, discoverable, and actionable by both humans and machines.
Your scope will include:
OpenTelemetry SDK onboarding and configuration
Automatic instrumentation experiences, including OBI/Beyla and SDK injection
Client-side OpenTelemetry Collector deployment and onboarding
Collector configuration, authentication, and initial connectivity
Guidance and machine-readable context that help people and agents choose the right instrumentation approach
Workflows that allow coding-agents to implement, configure and verify instrumentation safely
Troubleshooting missing, incomplete, malformed, or unhealthy telemetry
Validation signals that allow both people and agents to confirm that telemetry is healthy, correctly attributed, and usable in Grafana Cloud
The transition from receiving telemetry to activating the appropriate Grafana Cloud observability solution
Success does not stop when Grafana Cloud receives the first data point. Telemetry must arrive with the quality, context, and structure required to support meaningful observability outcomes. You’ll partner closely with teams responsible for experiences such as Application Observability, Kubernetes Monitoring, Infrastructure Observability, and Drilldown Apps to ensure OpenTelemetry workloads receive a first-class experience from initial setup through first value.
This is a horizontal Staff-level product leadership role spanning multiple products and engineering teams. You may not directly own every SDK, collector, instrumentation technology, or downstream application involved in the journey. You will, however, be accountable for the coherence of the overall customer experience, its success measures, and the cross-product strategy required to improve it.
AI will also be part of how you work, not only what you build. You’ll be expected to use AI tools regularly to accelerate customer-research synthesis, analyze product signals, explore technical workflows, prototype experiences, develop positioning content, and test agent-led instrumentation journeys. You’ll model thoughtful, hands-on adoption of AI while applying strong judgement to its outputs.
The role is not focused on developing OpenTelemetry as an open source project in isolation. You’ll engage with and contribute to the OpenTelemetry ecosystem where appropriate, while measuring success through customer activation and outcomes in Grafana Cloud.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Define the vision, strategy, and cross-product roadmap for the journey from an uninstrumented workload to healthy, useful telemetry in Grafana Cloud solutions
Create coherent, opinionated experiences that help users choose and implement the right approach across SDK instrumentation, automatic instrumentation, and Collector-based deployment while preserving the flexibility advanced users require
Identify and eliminate the leading causes of setup failure, abandonment, misconfiguration, and low-quality telemetry
Establish shared experience principles, priorities, and success criteria across the product and engineering teams contributing to the OpenTelemetry journey
Use customer research, product data, and market insight to prioritize investments and measure outcomes such as onboarding completion, time to useful telemetry, telemetry health, and workload expansion
Partner with downstream Grafana Cloud solution teams to create a coherent transition from telemetry ingestion to meaningful product activation
Extend beyond product delivery to how the OpenTelemetry experience is positioned and brought to market. In partnership with Product Marketing and go-to-market teams, you’ll help define the product narrative, sharpen out differentiation, and develop launches, technical content, adoption programs, and campaigns that create demand and accelerate customer activation.
Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Documentation, Developer Relations, Product Marketing, and go-to-market teams to deliver and communicate a differentiated OpenTelemetry experience
Represent Grafana Labs and its customers in relevant OpenTelemetry ecosystem discussions
What makes you a great fit:
5+ years of Product Management experience, with a strong track record in developer tools, observability, infrastructure, data platforms, or another technically complex B2B product domain
Experience leading strategy and execution across multiple engineering teams or product areas without relying on direct organizational authority
Strong working knowledge of OpenTelemetry, including SDK instrumentation, OTLP, Collector pipelines, telemetry context, and semantic conventions
Experience using or building instrumentation systems, agents, telemetry collectors, configuration products, or related infrastructure
An understanding of the challenges involved in deploying and operating software across Kubernetes, virtual machines, and public cloud environments
Experience turning complex onboarding, configuration, and troubleshooting workflows into clear and approachable product experiences
A history of using customer research and product data to make decisions, align stakeholders, and deliver measurable outcomes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and nontechnical stakeholders in a remote, globally distributed organization
Bonus Points:
Experience contributing to or building products around the OpenTelemetry or broader open source observability ecosystem
Experience with automatic instrumentation, eBPF, or runtime-based instrumentation
Firsthand experience as an SRE, platform engineer, developer, or observability practitioner
Experience building product-led onboarding, configuration-validation, or telemetry-health experiences at scale

This is a fully remote position and we're considering candidates in Sweden.

This is a fully remote position and we're considering candidates in Canada EST.
