Build capabilities for task creation and distribution, contributor onboarding, payouts, data submission, validation, labelling and dataset delivery.
Define the right balance between building internal capabilities, using external platforms and working with specialised partners.
Establish product metrics across demand, supply, data quality, unit economics and contributor experience.

ABOUT RAMP
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $275B in annualized spend flows in and out of 85,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 7.5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Ramp is seeking a 2LoD Compliance Strategist to provide dedicated independent second-line assurance across Ramp UK & Irish regulated businesses.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can turn regulatory expectations into a practical, evidence-led monitoring and assurance programme.
The role sits within Ramp's Europe Compliance function and supports the Head of Compliance & MLRO - Europe. You will not own first-line operational decisions or perform routine casework. Instead, you will independently test and challenge the design and operation of financial-crime, safeguarding, payments, outsourcing, governance, and regulatory-change controls. You will make sure that findings are understood, remediated by accountable owners, and independently validated before closure.
Ramp Payments Europe is developing across multiple legal entities, jurisdictions, payment rails, banking partners, product journeys, and shared Group services. The successful candidate will help give management and Boards a clear, reliable view of whether controls work in practice and where action is needed.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Run a practical, risk-based compliance monitoring programme across Ramps European entities.
- Test key controls and identify gaps, with a focus on whether they work in practice.
- Support assurance over financial-crime, payments, safeguarding, and outsourced-service controls.
- Track regulatory, Board, partner, audit, and internal commitments to ensure actions are completed on time.
- Manage findings and remediation, helping accountable teams resolve issues and confirming actions are closed.
- Produce clear reporting for management and Boards on key risks, control issues, incidents, and progress.
- Provide independent compliance input and advisory on significant product, payments, outsourcing, and operational changes.
- Deputise for the Head of Compliance & MLRO where required.
WHAT YOU NEED
- Min. 4 year of experience in compliance, risk, audit, controls, or regulatory change within payments, fintech, banking, or another regulated environment.
- Experience supporting compliance monitoring, control testing, issue management, remediation, or governance reporting.
- Working knowledge of UK and/or EU financial-services regulation, with the ability to apply requirements pragmatically in a fast-moving environment.
- Familiarity with financial-crime controls such as customer due diligence, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, or record keeping.
- An interest in areas such as payments, safeguarding, outsourcing, operational resilience, or third-party oversight.
- Strong judgement and communication skills, with the confidence to identify issues, explain risk clearly, and work constructively with stakeholders.
- Comfortable working independently, managing priorities, and partnering with Product, Engineering, Operations, Legal, and Risk teams.
- Curious about using AI responsibly to improve compliance analysis, monitoring, or documentation.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- Experience in a UK payment institution, e-money institution, bank, card issuer, acquiring business, or payments fintech.
- Experience supporting FCA-facing work, banking-partner due diligence requirements.
- Experience with Consumer Duty, safeguarding, or formal outsourcing governance.
- Professional compliance, audit, risk, or financial-crime qualification.

Looking for an impactful and exciting role with a strong focus on product design? Join Productive Playhouse as a Product Manager and help shape the experience across Central and pZero, our company internal linked contributing platform. In this flexible, remote role, you’ll turn user insights and stakeholder needs into thoughtful product solutions while partnering closely with engineering and cross-functional teams. No production frontend coding is required.
Key Responsibilities
Own the daily product loop for Central and pZero, from user evidence and problem definition through requirements, delivery, rollout, and adoption.
Translate user evidence and stakeholder input into clear product briefs and PRDs, including problem, scope, exclusions, success measures, and acceptance criteria.
Lead product design for core Central and pZero workflows, including journey mapping, information architecture, prototyping in Figma or an equivalent tool, and usability testing.
Partner with the external engineering team throughout delivery, clarifying requirements and keeping work moving through review and release.
Bring Product Quality into the work early enough to shape journeys, testability, and release evidence.
Own rollout and adoption for shipped features, ensuring intended users can find, understand, and use new functionality.
Track product outcomes after release, including adoption, task completion, cycle time, rework, defects, support burden, and the amount of follow-up required from the Director of Product.
Own manager-facing and worker-facing product documentation, including onboarding materials, tutorials, how-to guides, and release education.
Maintain a practical, shared design foundation with Iron Forge covering navigation, forms, tables, statuses, errors, permissions, accessibility, and responsive behavior.
Maintain shared product knowledge in company-approved project and knowledge management systems, including roadmap, decisions, user evidence, product behavior, and release learning.
Use approved AI tools and shared skills to improve the speed and quality of research, writing, analysis, prototyping, and documentation.
Collect and prioritize input from Operations, Product Quality, Engineering, support signals, and client programs.
Bring well-supported recommendations, backed by evidence and tradeoffs, to the Director of Product on major product decisions, while owning routine and reversible decisions independently.
Perform other duties and ad-hoc projects as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
If selected to move forward in the recruitment process, candidates will be required to complete a pre-assessment. Completion of the required assessment is a prerequisite for advancement to the next stage of the selection process.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent practical experience in product management or a closely related discipline.
Demonstrated experience as a product owner or product manager, ideally within AI workforce product; scope of ownership matters more than years of tenure.
Hands-on product or UX design experience, ideally including journey mapping, prototyping, and usability testing.
Proven ability to turn incomplete or conflicting stakeholder input into a clear, bounded product problem.
Experience working closely with engineering teams as a partner, not solely through ticket handoffs.
Comfort using data to make or evaluate decisions, including recognizing when available data is insufficient.
Experience owning outcomes after release, including adoption, documentation, and iteration based on real usage.
Working familiarity with AI tools for research, writing, prototyping, and documentation, with clear human review and accountability.
Strong written communication skills, able to produce material that developers, operators, managers, and users can act on directly.
Ability to work effectively across distributed teams and manage ambiguity without creating unnecessary noise.
Comfortable inspecting product behavior, reading technical material, and working with data; production coding is not required.
Cross-functional collaboration and conflict resolution skills, with the decisiveness expected of a single-threaded owner.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Occasional travel may be required for special meetings, training, or team gatherings at the company’s headquarters or other designated locations.
Routine use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, filing cabinets, etc.
Strong visual acuity for reviewing detailed documents and data on computer screens.
Manual dexterity for operating a computer, including using a keyboard and mouse.
Ability to lift and carry office supplies or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
Clear verbal and written communication skills for collaboration across teams.
Capacity to manage tasks that require prolonged periods of focus and concentration.
Ability to handle the physical demands of a standard workweek, which may include occasional overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays, if needed.

About Advantage HQ
Advantage HQ is building the next generation of creator-led growth infrastructure for consumer brands.
We combine creative strategy, creator partnerships, performance content, whitelisting, affiliate distribution, paid media, and proprietary technology into one integrated growth system.
Our team manages more than $850 million in annual media spend and works with a network of more than 400,000 creators across Meta, TikTok, and YouTube. Through Meteoric AI, our proprietary intelligence platform, we use data and AI to improve decision-making across creative production, creator selection, customer acquisition, campaign performance, and brand growth.
We work with ambitious consumer brands across health, wellness, beauty, nutrition, personal care, and lifestyle.
The Opportunity
Advantage HQ is looking for a Senior Media Buyer who can take ownership of growth across a portfolio of e-commerce clients.
This is a strategic, client-facing role. You will be responsible for understanding each client's business, developing the paid media strategy, identifying growth opportunities, and working with Media Analysts, Creative Strategists, and other internal teams to turn that strategy into measurable results.
You will be expected to think beyond campaign metrics. The strongest Senior Media Buyers understand how media connects to the broader customer journey, creative, offers, funnel performance, and business economics.
You will have significant ownership over your clients and will be expected to bring recommendations, challenge assumptions, and identify opportunities before the client has to ask.
What You'll Own
Own the paid media strategy
You will develop and lead paid media strategies across platforms such as Meta, Google, TikTok, Snapchat, and other relevant channels.
You will determine where to allocate budget, how to structure campaigns, which audiences and creative angles to prioritize, and where additional investment can create profitable growth.
You will balance short-term performance with the longer-term goal of building a scalable acquisition engine.
Drive account performance
You will work closely with Media Analysts to monitor performance, identify trends, diagnose problems, and make decisions that improve efficiency and growth.
You will be accountable for understanding the reasons behind performance changes, not simply reporting what happened.
You will know when to scale, when to test, when to pull back, and when the problem sits outside the media account itself.
Think beyond the media account
You will analyze the broader customer journey and identify opportunities across the funnel.
This may include landing pages, conversion rates, offers, pricing, checkout experience, creative, customer retention, and post-purchase behavior.
You will work with cross-functional teams to turn these insights into practical recommendations for clients.
Lead testing and experimentation
You will develop a structured testing roadmap across audiences, creative, offers, messaging, campaign structures, and other growth levers.
You will evaluate test results based on business impact and use those learnings to inform future strategy.
You will avoid testing for the sake of activity and focus on experiments that can meaningfully improve performance.
Partner with Creative
You will work closely with Creative Strategists to identify creative opportunities based on media performance, customer behavior, and market insights.
You will help translate performance data into clear creative briefs and recommendations and use creative performance to inform future media strategy.
Own client relationships
You will serve as a strategic partner to your clients, building relationships based on trust, expertise, and results.
You will lead strategic conversations, present performance insights, explain recommendations clearly, and help clients understand the decisions behind the strategy.
You will be comfortable challenging a client's assumptions when the data supports a different direction.
Identify growth opportunities
You will continuously look for opportunities to increase client growth and account value.
This could include new channels, new audiences, new offers, creative opportunities, funnel improvements, or changes to the broader acquisition strategy.
You are expected to bring ideas to the table rather than waiting for direction.
Who You Are
You are an experienced performance marketer who understands e-commerce from the perspective of both media and business growth.
You can look at an account and understand not only what the numbers are saying, but what they mean and what should happen next.
You are strategic enough to lead client conversations but hands-on enough to understand campaign mechanics and challenge the details when necessary.
You are commercially minded. You understand that a strong media account is not defined by a good CTR or low CPA alone. You care about profitable growth, customer economics, conversion, retention, and the client's broader business objectives.
You are comfortable working with ambiguity and taking ownership of your accounts. You do not wait for someone else to identify the next opportunity.
You use data, technology, and AI to improve the speed and quality of your decision-making.
Experience We Value
6+ years of experience in paid media, performance marketing, growth marketing, or a related field
Significant experience managing e-commerce clients is required
Strong hands-on experience with Meta, Google, and TikTok, with additional platform experience such as Snapchat or X being valuable
Experience managing significant advertising budgets
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute paid media strategies that drive measurable business growth
Strong understanding of funnel performance, conversion rates, customer acquisition economics, and e-commerce metrics
Experience with creative testing, offer testing, and landing page or funnel optimization
Experience working closely with Creative, Analytics, Growth, or other cross-functional teams
Strong client-facing and presentation skills
Experience creating and presenting strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Why Join Advantage HQ

You will have access to experienced media, creative, growth, and technology teams, as well as proprietary data and tools such as Meteoric AI.
