MANAGER, COMMERCIAL SALES - WEST
Location: US West (remote), strong interest for San Francisco
THE ROLE
Our commercial segment is one of the more technically demanding sales environments in the industry. Our buyers are data engineers, platform architects, and technical founders — and the AEs who succeed here do so because they can meet those buyers as peers, not vendors. Building and leading that team requires someone who has done it themselves and knows what great looks like.
As Manager of Commercial Sales at ClickHouse, you'll own the performance, development, and culture of our Commercial AE team. You'll be expected to live in the details — reviewing pipelines, sitting on calls, pressure-testing deal strategy, and knowing every meaningful opportunity in the book. The best managers in this role won't be directing from a distance; they'll be the person their reps turn to when a deal gets complicated. This is not a role for someone who wants to manage from a dashboard. It's a role for someone who wants to build something.
You'll inherit a team that has real momentum, as our Commercial segment represents a significant % of our overall business.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Commercial Account Executives selling into the sub-250 employee segment — helping them close faster, think more technically, and operate with greater autonomy over time.
- Own the Commercial segment number. You're accountable for team attainment, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy — and you'll be expected to have a clear point of view on both at any given moment.
- Spend time in deals. Review deals, join customer conversations when it matters, and help your reps navigate the technical and commercial complexity that defines this segment.
- Hire exceptional people. The Commercial AE profile is rare: technically credible, commercially hungry, and able to operate without hand-holding. You know how to find and close that person.
- Build the playbook. Document what's working, codify best practices, and create repeatable frameworks for technical discovery, objection handling, and deal progression that the team can scale.
- Partner cross-functionally with Solutions Engineering, Product, and Marketing to ensure the Commercial team has the support, enablement, and feedback loops they need to win.
- Identify patterns across the pipeline — where deals stall, where we lose, and where we consistently win — and use those insights to improve team performance and inform product and GTM decisions.
- Contribute to the broader Commercial strategy, including segmentation, coverage model, and how we evolve the motion as the team scales.
WHAT YOU BRING
- A track record of success as a quota-carrying AE in a technical sales environment — you've sold data infrastructure, developer tooling, or a similarly technical product to engineering buyers and you know what that motion actually requires.
- Experience leading or mentoring other sellers, whether in a formal management role or as a senior IC who took ownership of team development. You know how to coach, not just direct.
- Technical credibility. You don't need to be an engineer, but you need to earn respect in rooms full of them. You understand the modern data stack, can hold a conversation about architecture, and know enough to identify when a deal is stalling for technical reasons vs. commercial ones.
- Strong commercial instincts. You can read a pipeline, spot sandbagging, identify risk early, and have an honest forecast conversation with leadership without needing a week to prepare.
- A builder mentality. The playbook is still being written. You're comfortable operating in that environment and energized by the opportunity to shape it rather than frustrated by the ambiguity.
- Genuine investment in people development. Your reps' growth is your growth. You give direct feedback, create space for people to fail safely, and take accountability for the development of everyone on your team.
WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT
The Commercial segment at ClickHouse is technically differentiated, growing fast, and still finding its ceiling. The person who leads it will have a direct hand in shaping how one of the most important data infrastructure companies in the industry goes to market — and will build a team that reflects their own standard of excellence.

The AI orchestration of your wildest imagination.
n8n is the open workflow orchestration platform built for the new era of AI. We give technical teams the freedom of code with the speed of no-code, so they can automate faster, smarter, and without limits. Backed by a fiercely inventive community and 500+ builder-approved integrations, we’re changing the way people bring systems together and scale ideas for impact.
Since our founding in 2019, we’ve grown into a diverse team of over 260 - working across Europe and the US, connected by a shared builder spirit and with our centre of gravity in Berlin. Along the way, we’ve:
- Cultivated a community of more than 650,000 active developers and builders
- Earned 190K+ GitHub stars, making us one of the world’s Top 40 most popular projects
- Backed by top investors, from Sequoia’s first German seed to our SAP's recent strategic investment - bringing us to a $5.2bn valuation
That’s the company we’ve built. Now we’d love to see what you can build. If you’re applying, try n8n out - whether you’re technical or not - and share a screenshot of your first workflow with us. The easiest place to start is here: app.n8n.cloud/register http://app.n8n.cloud/register.
We’re in a defining moment of an incredible journey. Come and build with us.
🎯 YOUR MAIN GOAL WILL BE TO TURN N8N’S INTERNAL AI AND AUTOMATION CAPABILITIES INTO SOMETHING EVERY FUNCTION CAN CONFIDENTLY USE, BUILD WITH, AND LEARN FROM.
To make that happen, you’ll create the programs, experiences, and foundations that help teams across n8n build their AI and automation fluency:
DRIVE HANDS-ON ENABLEMENT
- Run weekly, role-specific workshops, prioritizing less-technical functions such as Legal and Customer Support.
- Lead hands-on sessions where you build live alongside teams, helping them turn real workflows and challenges into working automations.
- Run Build Along Office Hours and Bounty Hunts that give teams regular opportunities to learn, experiment, and solve problems together.
- Help teams identify useful automation opportunities, understand the process they are changing, and decide when to reuse an existing solution, build themselves, or involve the Automation team.
OWN DOGFOODING & EXPERIMENTATION
- Own our monthly Dogfooding Day end-to-end, from planning and coordination through execution and follow-up.
- Design and run hackathons and other experimentation initiatives that encourage teams to explore new ways of working with AI and automation.
- Turn learnings and outputs from these initiatives into reusable assets that help other teams move faster.
SCALE AI FLUENCY & COMMUNITY
- Own periodic AI fluency survey cycles alongside the People team and help calibrate what fluency means across different functions.
- Build visibility around internal wins and reusable solutions so teams can learn from what others have already created.
- Identify and support champions across functions, informally leading the emerging Guild and helping automation knowledge spread across the company.
ENABLE SAFE, REUSABLE AUTOMATION
- Act as product owner for our internal “safe playground,” partnering with IT, Security, Data, and Solutions Engineering on access, credentials, environments, and requirements.
- Turn outputs from workshops and office hours into reusable templates and resources that teams can easily discover and adopt.
- Actively help teams reuse existing solutions rather than reinventing them, making automation more accessible and scalable across n8n.
- Check whether the things built are still in use four weeks later; provide evidence that teams reuse existing assets and can make routine changes without handing everything back to the Automation team.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST-HAVES
- 🛠️ Practitioner-level n8n fluency: You’ve built real, meaningful automations in n8n and are comfortable building live alongside others.
- 🎓 Technical enablement experience: You’ve run structured, recurring enablement programs such as workshops, office hours, or build-alongs.
- 🤝 Non-technical audience expertise: You have a strong track record of helping non-technical teams understand, adopt, and confidently use technical tools.
- 🏗️ Cross-functional ownership: You’re comfortable partnering with IT, Security, and Data teams to define and own requirements around access, credentials, and environments without needing to implement the infrastructure yourself.
- 🌍 CET overlap: You’re based in a time zone that gives you strong overlap with Central European working hours, within a couple of hours of Berlin.
- 💬 English fluency: You have fluent or near-native English and can communicate clearly and confidently with audiences ranging from individual contributors to senior stakeholders.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- 🌱 Champion programs: You’ve helped build or run an internal ambassador, champion, or community program.
- 📊 Fluency measurement: You have experience running capability, fluency, or adoption surveys and turning the results into actionable programs.
- 🔐 Access & governance: You’re familiar with access or governance models and have worked with stakeholders responsible for secure environments and tooling.
Why join us?
At n8n, you’ll have the opportunity to build a brand-new enablement function from the ground up and shape how AI and automation become part of everyday work across the company. You’ll have a direct line to the Head of AI & Automation, high visibility across functions, and genuine autonomy to design an enablement model rather than inherit one.
As n8n scales, you’ll become a key connector between the people building our internal automation capabilities and the teams putting them to work. You’ll help create a culture where teams don’t just learn about automation — they confidently build, experiment, share what works, and help others do the same.
You’ll join a fast-growing, remote-first company that values autonomy, experimentation, and builder culture, with the opportunity to influence how we scale AI fluency across the organization.
Sound like a challenge you’re excited to take on?
Apply now — and help us build the future of automation.
n8n is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.

Join us in our mission to transform the way people shop and eat, where impact, innovation, and growth drives everything we do. Our Commercial team sits at the centre of Deliveroo’s marketplace—shaping how we serve restaurants, grocers, and new verticals worldwide. From negotiating key partnerships to unlocking new revenue streams and crafting data-led growth strategies, we take on big challenges that move the business forward. If you thrive in fast-paced, commercial environments and want to influence the future of a global brand—this is the team for you.
We’re looking for a Senior Onboarding Associate to join our UAE team. You’ll guide new restaurant, ODC and retail partners in the UAE and Kuwait from sign-up to launch. You’ll coordinate each onboarding step, keep partners informed and help them go live smoothly and on time.

Commercial team
— what drives us, how we work, and what you can expect.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll join the Middle East Partner Onboarding team and support new restaurant, ODC and retail partners from signed agreement to successful launch. Most support is provided through non-live channels, with calls or other contact used when preferred by the partner.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Own the onboarding journey for new restaurant, ODC and retail partners, from signed agreement through to launch.
• Complete partner admin setup and coordinate menu or catalogue creation, following up on missing information to keep each launch on track.
• Coordinate tablet delivery, installation and partner training with the relevant internal teams and partner contacts.
• Support partners with admin, menu and catalogue questions, using the communication channel that best suits their needs.
• Investigate complex onboarding issues, coordinate the right resolution and keep partners and internal stakeholders updated until the issue is closed.
• Work closely with Sales and Menu teams to resolve questions relating to newly signed partners, missing content and setup requirements.
• Maintain accurate onboarding trackers, complete a clear handover of live partners to the assigned NPX or Account Manager, and share best practices across the UAE and Kuwait.
What You’ll Need to Thrive
Our ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in some of these areas and curiosity to grow in others:
• Ability to manage partner onboarding or operational workflows independently and take ownership through to completion.
• Strong organisation and prioritisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple partners at different onboarding stages.
• A service-focused and solution-oriented approach to partner questions, operational blockers and escalations.
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing partner information and updating systems, menus, catalogues and trackers.
• Clear written and verbal communication, with the judgement to adapt the channel and level of detail to each partner.
• Confidence working with Sales, Menu, Operations and account management teams across different markets.
• Ability to learn and use CRM, knowledge-base and telephony tools; previous experience with these systems is helpful but not essential.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About Anthropic
Anthropic's mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About Beneficial Deployments
Beneficial Deployments ensures AI reaches and benefits the communities that need it most. We partner with nonprofits, foundations, and mission-driven organizations to deploy Claude in education, global health, economic mobility, and life sciences — focusing on raising the floor for those who need it most.
About the Role
We're looking for an Applied AI Engineer to join our Beneficial Deployments, Life Sciences team. Our goal is for Claude to close the loop on scientific discovery, and a significant part of this is helping Claude to drive scientific hardware and software. You'll help deploy the Model Hardware Standard (MHS) to labs doing the world’s most important research. You’ll scale what you learn in the field by contributing back to the standard, building scalable assets, and driving associated internal product and research direction.
Responsibilities
Work with labs to automate their experiments end-to-end with Claude - from advising, to prototyping, to writing production code.
Drive product, engineering and research direction based on field experience - e.g. building evals to measure limitations of our models in the physical world (capabilities and safety), developing new features on MHS, etc.
Scale your impact to the long tail of labs through reusable cookbooks, documentation, and other assets.
Be an EMEA ambassador for Claude in the lab - you’ll both inspire and build trust with scientific audiences, from small settings to large conferences.
This role will require significant travel
You Might Be a Good Fit If You Have
Hands-on experience connecting software to lab robots and instruments (liquid handlers, plate readers, scheduling software, LIMS), ideally in an automated lab.
Strong engineering skills: you can take an LLM-powered tool from prototype to production code, and write evals to measure its performance.
A scientist's instinct for how experiments work: you can spot what's worth automating, and where AI might fail or be unsafe in the physical world.
Experience working directly with external customers or partners in a technical role.
Clear written and verbal communication: you’ll write docs other labs can use without you and give talks that inspire and earn researchers' trust.
A scrappy mentality–comfortable wearing multiple hats, building from scratch, driving clarity in ambiguous situations, and doing whatever it takes to further the mission.
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
£225,000
—
£255,000 GBP
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains. How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.
