Join OLX and see how far you can go.
The Opportunity
OLX is looking for a Principal Product Manager to drive high-impact, zero-to-one initiatives across our Real Estate business (otodom.pl, imovirtual.com and storia.ro). This is a builder role focused on creating new value - not a people-management role. It's well-suited for someone who thrives on building new things, moving fast, and navigating a complex organisation to turn ideas into impact.
You'll lead 2–3 special initiatives in parallel, each scoped over 6–24 months. These could range from developing AI-driven capabilities and new monetisation models to building new product features that drive growth. We're hiring for mindset, not a fixed checklist.
You'll join the product leadership team and contribute to strategic direction across the area. The focus is on building, pushing, and delivering new value, complementing a team that excels at running and optimising the core business.
This role reports to the Director of Product and can be based in Spain, Portugal or Poland. Remote work is possible within these countries.
What You'll Do
Lead zero-to-one initiatives from concept to market validation to scaled delivery - own the vision, strategy, and execution.
Build with AI as a daily lever - prototypes, agent-augmented workflows, AI-powered discovery and experimentation.
Run lean experiments to prove product-market fit fast, with minimal bureaucracy.
Present and defend your concepts to senior stakeholders - building alignment through evidence and conviction.
Navigate a matrixed organisation: identify opportunities to move quickly, build coalitions, and drive progress without waiting for perfect alignment.
Own the business case: connect product decisions to revenue and margin impact.
Raise the bar for product craft across the team - set the standard through your work, share methods and examples, and act as a role model for what high-quality product thinking looks like in practice.
What We're Looking For
8+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of building and launching new products from zero to one - not just optimising what exists.
AI native - you build with AI in your personal and professional life.
Entrepreneurial DNA - uncomfortable with "business as usual," driven to create new value.
Fast and execution-driven - moves at pace, ships quickly, and creates momentum rather than waiting for perfect conditions.
High product craft - rigorous discovery, lean experimentation, strong narratives, data-driven decision-making.
Strong executive presence - able to defend a concept to senior directors and build alignment.
Business and financial acumen - unit economics, P&L thinking, ROI-informed decisions.
Ability to drive multiple initiatives in parallel with minimal oversight.
Marketplace or two-sided marketplace experience is a plus.
Comfort working in cross-functional, multicultural teams across multiple markets.
Willingness to travel approximately every two months.

OLX values diversity and welcomes applicants of all races, ethnicities, disabilities, ages, genders, sexual orientations, religions, backgrounds, and experiences to apply. As a Big Data Infrastructure Engineer in the Big Data Platform team, you’ll own the big data infrastructure of our international contour and be its technical lead. You’ll deploy, upgrade and operate the core services of the platform: HDFS, S3-compatible object storage (Apache Ozone), Iceberg and others. You’ll start by helping run an infrastructure pilot that changes how the platform is used: a small number of very large datasets will become thousands of small tables. You’ll introduce compute and storage quotas for business units, migrate us from the default Iceberg catalog to a more capable one (Lakekeeper or Gravitino), and rebuild monitoring and alerting so alerts mean something again. You’ll work closely with an engineer who runs the same stack in a parallel contour. You’ll share approaches and solutions with them and cover for each other. Our infrastructure runs on the latest versions of everything, and we actively replace outdated tools. The role suits an experienced engineer who wants real ownership and a big say in architecture.
Requirements
5+ years of experience designing, deploying and operating big data platforms.
Hands-on experience with HDFS / Hadoop: deployment, version upgrades, troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience deploying and operating S3-compatible object storage. Apache Ozone is ideal, but MinIO or similar solutions also count.
Experience with Apache Iceberg.
Experience setting up monitoring and alerting for data infrastructure.
English B2.
Ability to work in the GMT+3 time zone (up to 3 hours difference).
Nice to have
Experience with Trino, Kafka or Flink.
Experience with Iceberg REST catalogs (Lakekeeper, Gravitino, Polaris or similar).
Experience setting up resource quotas and cost allocation in a multi-tenant data platform.
Hands-on use of AI tools, such as Copilot or agents, to speed up your work.
Benefits
Flexible schedules and opportunity to work remotely.
Ambitious and supportive team who love what they do, appreciate each other, and grow together.
A structured onboarding, a personal development plan, and regular internal lectures and demos from the team.
Internal programs for adaptation and training, development of soft skills, and leadership abilities.
Partial compensation for participating in external training and conferences.
Corporate English school: Group and individual lessons, speaking clubs with colleagues from all over the world.
Corporate prices on hotels and travel services.
MyTime Day Off - an extra non-working day without loss of compensation.
