BRAND MARKETING LEAD
At WHOOP, we're on a mission to unlock and inspire performance for life. WHOOP empowers members to perform at a higher level through a deeper understanding of their bodies and daily lives.
WHOOP is seeking a Brand Marketing Lead to drive high-impact marketing initiatives that bring product innovation to life, with a particular focus on health and longevity. In this role, you will translate product and brand strategy into compelling, integrated marketing campaigns that build consumer understanding, strengthen brand relevance, and drive measurable business results. You will help shape how WHOOP connects with consumers around some of the most important opportunities in health, wellness, and human performance.
As a key member of the Brand Marketing team, you will own initiatives from planning through execution, working closely with Product, Creative, Performance Marketing, Brand Media, Communications, and other cross-functional partners. You thrive in fast-paced environments, bring structure to ambiguity, and know how to turn ambitious ideas into exceptional marketing. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and hands-on operator who moves quickly, exercises strong creative judgment, and can independently drive complex initiatives while keeping teams aligned and focused on results.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead product-focused brand marketing initiatives: Own the planning and execution of integrated brand campaigns and marketing initiatives, with an emphasis on WHOOP health and longevity products, translating product innovation and strategic priorities into compelling consumer-facing marketing.
- Bring product stories to life: Partner closely with Product, Creative, and other teams to develop compelling product positioning, messaging, campaign strategies, creative briefs, and activations that make complex product benefits relevant, accessible, and meaningful to consumers.
- Drive cross-functional execution: Lead high-priority initiatives from brief through launch, coordinating across Creative, Performance Marketing, Brand Media, Growth, Communications, and other partners to establish clear priorities, manage timelines, navigate challenges, and deliver exceptional work.
- Create clarity and momentum: Bring structure to ambiguous or evolving projects, proactively identifying challenges, driving decisions, and establishing processes that enable teams to move quickly and stay aligned without compromising quality.
- Connect marketing activity to business results: Establish clear campaign objectives and success metrics, partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate performance, and translate insights into actionable recommendations that strengthen future marketing initiatives.
- Elevate marketing excellence: Contribute strategic thinking, creative judgment, and consumer insights to improve the quality and effectiveness of brand marketing work, serving as a trusted partner who raises the bar for execution across teams.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3–5 years of experience in brand marketing, product marketing, integrated marketing, consumer marketing, or a related field, ideally within a consumer-facing brand.
- Demonstrated experience independently leading integrated marketing campaigns, product launches, or major marketing initiatives from strategy and planning through execution and measurement.
- Strong understanding of consumer marketing, product positioning, and storytelling, with the ability to translate complex product features and benefits into compelling, differentiated narratives that resonate with audiences.
- Exceptional project leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills, with a proven ability to align stakeholders, drive decisions, and deliver high-quality work without direct managerial authority.
- Highly organized, proactive, and resourceful, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, solve problems independently, and maintain momentum in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong creative judgment and strategic thinking, balanced with a hands-on approach and attention to detail across campaign development and execution.
- Interest in health, wellness, longevity, or human performance is a plus, with the curiosity and consumer empathy to understand emerging trends and translate them into relevant marketing opportunities.
- Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.
This role is based in the WHOOP office located in Boston, MA. The successful candidate must be prepared to relocate if necessary to work out of the Boston, MA office.
Interested in the role, but don’t meet every qualification? We encourage you to still apply! At WHOOP, we believe there is much more to a candidate than what is written on paper, and we value character as much as experience. As we continue to build a diverse and inclusive environment, we encourage anyone who is interested in this role to apply.
WHOOP is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in E-verify https://www.e-verify.gov/to determine employment eligibility
The WHOOP compensation philosophy is designed to attract, motivate, and retain exceptional talent by offering competitive base salaries, meaningful equity, and consistent pay practices that reflect our mission and core values.
At WHOOP, we view total compensation as the combination of base salary, equity, and benefits, with equity serving as a key differentiator that aligns our employees with the long-term success of the company and allows every member of our corporate team to own part of WHOOP and share in the company’s long-term growth and success.
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $100,000 - $150,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.
In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package.
These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs. While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate’s specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role’s requirements.

ABOUT MISTRAL
Mistral provides full-stack AI solutions: from frontier models to developer tools, applications, and compute. We partner with enterprises tackling the hardest problems across high-stakes industries like finance, manufacturing, defense, healthcare, and the public sector, co-creating customized AI systems that they can run on their terms.
We are a dynamic, collaborative team passionate about AI and its potential to transform society. Our diverse workforce thrives in competitive environments and is committed to driving innovation. Our teams are distributed between Europe, North America, Asia and the Middle East. We are creative, low-ego and team-spirited.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Research Engineer, GPU performance, you will sit at the heart of that spectrum: your low-level work directly determines how fast our frontier models can be trained and served. Working hand-in-hand with Research Scientists, you'll make every GPU count.
Mistral AI is hiring an expert in pushing large language model's GPU utilization and performance to their limits.. In this role, you will own the performance of our models end-to-end: writing the low-level code that extracts the maximum capacity from high-end hardware, and rethinking model architectures so they run efficiently at scale.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop low-level code that takes full advantage of high-end GPUs and maxes out their capacity — from custom kernels to memory-layout and communication optimisations.
- Rethink parts of the generative model architecture to make them more suitable for efficient inference, in collaboration with Research Scientists.
- Integrate low-level efficient code into a high-level MLOps framework, so that optimisations benefit every training run and deployment rather than a single experiment.
- Profile, benchmark and squeeze performance out of large-scale training and inference on thousands of GPUs.
- Model LLM execution on various GPUs with high fidelity to assess hardware usage and build serving performance estimates.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- High technical competence for writing custom low-level kernels and pushing GPUs to their limits.
- High expertise in the distributed computation infrastructure of current-generation GPU clusters.
- Overall understanding of the field of generative AI; knowledge of, or interest in, fine-tuning and using language models for applications.
- Strong software-design instincts: testing, code review, CI/CD.
- Self-starter, low-ego, collaborative.
WHAT WE OFFER
We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, growth, and work-life balance. Benefits vary by country and may include healthcare coverage, parental leave, retirement plans, relocation support, wellness programs, meal and transportation allowances, and other location-specific perks.
For the most up-to-date details on benefits available in your location, please refer to our Benefits page https://app.notion.com/p/mistralai/Benefits-at-Mistral-36e6ba59a7fe836b93dd01737fcc27ef?source=copy_link.

ABOUT US
Sierra is the leading platform for customer-facing AI agents, working with many of the world's biggest brands — including The GAP, Rocket Mortgage, SoFi, Sutter Health, and SoftBank — to transform how they serve customers and grow their businesses. We are primarily an in-person company based in San Francisco, with growing offices across North America, Europe, and Asia.
We are guided by a set of values that are at the core of our actions and define our culture: Trust, Customer Obsession, Craftsmanship, Intensity, and a commitment to balancing Family along the way. These values are the foundation of our work, and we are committed to upholding them in everything we do.
Our co-founders are Bret Taylor https://www.linkedin.com/in/brettaylor/ and Clay Bavor https://www.linkedin.com/in/claybavor/. Bret currently serves as Board Chair of OpenAI. Previously, he was co-CEO of Salesforce (which had acquired the company he founded, Quip) and CTO of Facebook. Bret was also one of Google's earliest product managers and co-creator of Google Maps. Before founding Sierra, Clay spent 18 years at Google, where he most recently led Google Labs. Earlier, he started and led Google’s AR/VR effort, Project Starline, and Google Lens. Before that, Clay led the product and design teams for Google Workspace.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
We’re hiring a Senior Commercial Counsel to be a core member of Sierra’s legal team. We are looking for someone who has deep expertise in commercial contracts, but also someone who is also eager to broaden their scope across IP, regulatory, and product. You will thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy tackling challenges beyond your comfort zone, and be excited to contribute across the business. In return, we’ll provide the support and opportunities you need to grow and excel as a lawyer. You’ll be part of a legal team that is highly respected within both the company and the broader legal industry—committed to excellence, collaboration, and making a meaningful impact.
- Commercial Contracting: Structure, negotiate and advise on all commercial contracts, including SaaS subscription agreements, technology licenses, professional services agreements, channel partner agreement, vendor agreements and NDAs. Commercial privacy and security contracting experience (e.g., DPAs, BAAs, security agreements) is a plus.
- Operational Excellence: Help build out our commercial function to be best in class. We aim to be the fastest and strongest, where the legal team is the differentiator in the contract lifecycle. You will be developing templates, playbooks, and workflows to drive efficiency and scalability.
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of practice areas that underpin the commercial practice, including contract law, IP and privacy. You will also want to work in AI and understand the nuances of law as it relates to AI, including the evolving regulatory frameworks. You will be expected to advise broadly on all contractual issues and be comfortable doing so.
- Teamwork: A team player first and foremost. Sierra is a unique place to work, with a strong sense of togetherness, and the legal team is no exception. You will look out for your colleagues, be accustomed to sharing and helping the team succeed. As the team grows, you will train and mentor more junior members.
- Judgement: Understand risk in the context of a hyper-scaling business, have sound judgement and be strategic in your decision making. You will not be afraid to make judgement calls, and you will be empowered to do so.
- Approach: A strong work ethic with an eye for detail. You will strive for perfection, and expect that of others.
- Collaborate: Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Agent Development teams to support revenue growth and strategic business initiatives.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 6+ years of legal experience, with a combination of both large law firm and in-house experience at a tech company. While we are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel, we are open to considering exceptional candidates with less experience as Commercial Counsel.
- A strong background in negotiating and managing complex commercial contracts, preferably in SaaS, AI, or enterprise software.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to partner with both legal and non-legal stakeholders.
- A proactive mindset and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
EVEN BETTER…
- Experience of privacy/regulatory frameworks and can advise on data processing agreements and security-related contract provisions.
- A passion for AI, with a deep understanding of AI products, LLMs and the related legal issues.
- Significant law firm experience at a top-tier, internationally recognized law firm.
- Experience working at a high-growth startup and operating with a sense of ownership.
- Industry specific knowledge in any of the following: Financial Services, Healthcare, Telecoms, Insurance and/or Consumer.
OUR VALUES
- Trust: We build trust with our customers with our accountability, empathy, quality, and responsiveness. We build trust in AI by making it more accessible, safe, and useful. We build trust with each other by showing up for each other professionally and personally, creating an environment that enables all of us to do our best work.
- Customer Obsession: We deeply understand our customers’ business goals and relentlessly focus on driving outcomes, not just technical milestones. Everyone at the company knows and spends time with our customers. When our customer is having an issue, we drop everything and fix it.
- Craftsmanship: We get the details right, from the words on the page to the system architecture. We have good taste. When we notice something isn’t right, we take the time to fix it. We are proud of the products we produce. We continuously self-reflect to continuously self-improve.
- Intensity: We know we don’t have the luxury of patience. We play to win. We care about our product being the best, and when it isn’t, we fix it. When we fail, we talk about it openly and without blame so we succeed the next time.
- Family: We know that balance and intensity are compatible, and we model it in our actions and processes. We are the best technology company for parents. We support and respect each other and celebrate each other’s personal and professional achievements.
