Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.
About
Tavily
We're building the infrastructure layer for agentic web interaction at scale. Our API is designed from the ground up to power Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and real-time reasoning in AI systems. By connecting LLMs to high-quality, trustworthy web content, we help developers build agents that are not only intelligent — but also informed.
We work with some of the most innovative teams in AI — from small startups shaping the ecosystem to the largest enterprises deploying AI at scale. Whether it's powering sales assistants, research copilots, or internal knowledge tools, we're the missing link between LLMs and the real world.
The Role
We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and build the billing platform behind a novel search engine tailored for agentic AI consumption. This role is based in our New York office, hybrid with the NYC team.
Our APIs are used by millions of developers and the AI agents acting on their behalf, all paying based on what they consume. You will own the systems that turn product usage into accurate, trustworthy revenue, supporting flexible billing models—usage-based pricing, subscriptions, prepaid balances with auto top-up, and enterprise contracts. Correctness is non-negotiable: every event must be measured precisely and every invoice must be right to the cent.
In this position, your responsibility will be to:
Design and operate the billing platform end to end, from usage events to invoices
Build metering and usage-aggregation pipelines that turn high-volume events into billable amounts
Design and operate prepaid credit/wallet systems with auto top-up and balance management
Support enterprise/contract billing with custom pricing, negotiated terms, and scheduled invoicing
Build reconciliation, idempotency, and invoice-accuracy safeguards to ensure revenue data is always correct
Lead the migration to the next generation of our billing system with no revenue loss or downtime
Define observability and quality metrics for billing correctness, freshness, and throughput
Ensure billing systems meet audit and compliance requirements (
SOX
, financial audit)
What
we're
looking for
:
6+ years building production backend systems, of which 3+ years actively building and operating billing or metering systems in production
Hands-on experience with usage-based / metered billing: rating, aggregation, and proration logic
Hands-on experience with subscription / recurring billing alongside usage-based models
Hands-on experience with prepaid credits / wallet systems and auto top-up mechanics
Hands-on experience with enterprise / contract billing: custom pricing and negotiated terms
End-to-end integration of a third-party billing platform (Stripe Billing, Metronome, Orb, or Zuora)
Strong expertise in Python and TypeScript/Node (Go a plus)
Production experience with transactional databases (Postgres or equivalent) for financial-grade data
Built high-volume event / usage pipelines into a data warehouse (Kafka or Kinesis → Snowflake or BigQuery)
Owned billing correctness in production: reconciliation, idempotency, invoice accuracy
Product-Led Growth (PLG) experience: worked on billing for high-volume, self-serve users
Hands-on with Auth0, Okta, or similar identity systems in production
Shipped revenue systems under
SOX
or financial audit constraints
Nice to have:
Led a billing system migration or re-platform with zero revenue loss or downtime
Built hybrid billing combining usage, subscriptions, and prepaid in one system
Worked across both a payments layer (Stripe) and a metering / rating layer (Metronome / Orb)
Billed a developer-facing / API product with pay-as-you-go and API-key metering
Used Snowflake for usage aggregation and revenue analytics
Why
Tavily
?

ABOUT AVOCA
Avoca is transforming how home service companies engage with their customers. Our AI-powered conversational agents handle every high-value inbound call, from booking jobs, qualifying leads, and driving higher revenue, all at a speed and consistency unmatched by human call centers.
We're a Series B startup backed by Kleiner Perkins, Meritech Capital, General Catalyst, and other top-tier investors, with $125M raised and a $1B valuation. We grew 10x in 2025 and have scaled to 170+ employees in under two years across our NYC headquarters and Santa Barbara office.
In a $1T+ market where 85% of missed calls go to competitors, we're building the category-defining platform for AI-driven customer engagement, serving the largest brands in home services. With high-energy, in-office teams in both locations, every hire here has an immediate and visible impact.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're hiring a Partnerships Manager to grow one of Avoca's most important revenue engines. Partnerships put Avoca in front of thousands of home services operators at once, through the networks, platforms, and industry players they already know and trust.
You'll own a revenue goal and a portfolio of partner relationships across the home services ecosystem, from integration and technology partners to the manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors that sit upstream of every contractor. You'll take partnerships end to end: finding the opportunity, structuring the relationship, and turning it into repeatable pipeline and revenue. This is a small, fast-moving team, so you'll wear many hats and help build the playbook as much as run it.
You'll report directly to the Head of Partnerships and work closely with leadership on our highest-priority partner initiatives.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own a portfolio of partner relationships end to end, from first conversation to signed partnership to revenue, across technology partners, manufacturers, suppliers, and distributors
- Leverage Avoca’s network of investors, partners, and industry influencers to generate inbound interest and warm introductions.
- Structure partnerships that create real distribution: co-marketing, referral motions, preferred-vendor positioning, joint events, and go-to-market
- Turn relationships into measurable partner-sourced pipeline and ARR, and own those numbers
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing to ensure every partnership is effectively enabled and integrated into our existing GTM motions, not left to sit on paper
- Represent Avoca with partners and at industry events, with travel as needed, heavier during conference season
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Direct experience in the home services industry, you understand how this ecosystem works and who the players are
- Existing relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, or other key players in the space that you can activate quickly
- 6+ years in the industry or in partnerships, channel, or business development adjacent to it
- A track record of building and closing partnerships or commercial relationships, not just managing existing ones
- Strong commercial instinct and clear communication with both field operators and executives
- High agency: you build the playbook, you don't wait for one
- Bonus points: Experience with channel, co-marketing, or partner-sourced revenue motions and familiarity with the CRMs home services operators use (ServiceTitan, FieldRoutes, Housecall Pro, and others)
WHO YOU ARE
- You know the home services world well enough to bring a point of view and a network with you, not build both from scratch
- You're a relationship builder who's equally comfortable in the field and in a boardroom
- You think in systems: you can look at a fragmented landscape and quickly see where the leverage is
- You want to own a book of partnerships, carry a number, and shape what this function becomes
- You want to be in-office in NYC, surrounded by people who move fast and hold themselves to a high standard
BENEFITS
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Company-sponsored 401(k) through Vestwell
- Flexible PTO plus U.S. federal holidays
- Company-wide off-sites
- Monthly wellness stipend
- Daily in-office lunch through Parkday
- Dinner covered when working late
- Commuter benefits and late-night rideshare
- Standing desks and workspace accommodations available on request
- All core tools and software provided
Compensation: The expected base salary for this role is $160,000-$220,000, with final compensation based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Avoca's total compensation package includes base salary, bonus, equity, and a comprehensive suite of benefits. Our Recruiting team will share full details as you progress through the process.
WHY AVOCA

How we're different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.
Come work with us!
Anthropic is a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco. We offer competitive compensation and benefits, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and a lovely office space in which to collaborate with colleagues.

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the Role
Anthropic's Infrastructure organization is foundational to our mission of developing AI systems that are reliable, interpretable, and steerable. The systems we build determine how quickly we can train new models, how reliably we can run safety experiments, and how effectively we can scale Claude to millions of users — demonstrating that safe, reliable infrastructure and frontier capabilities can go hand in hand.
Developer Productivity owns the end-to-end experience of how engineers and researchers at Anthropic develop, build, test, and ship code at scale. This role focuses on the configuration and experimentation systems that let teams safely roll out changes, run controlled experiments, and make data-driven decisions across our products and infrastructure — from feature flagging and dynamic configuration to A/B testing platforms that support both research and production workloads.
Responsibilities
Own the technical strategy and roadmap for config and experimentation infrastructure, translating team-level goals into concrete execution plans and partnering with teams focused on deployment, testing, and more
Maintain and enhance the architecture for feature flagging, dynamic configuration, and experimentation systems, ensuring the hardest problems get solved — whether by you directly or by working through others
Design and build scalable, reliable distributed infrastructure and shared libraries that support high-volume experimentation and config workloads across all engineering teams
Own and evolve the platforms and tooling that let engineers and researchers safely ship config changes, run experiments, and measure impact
Define standards, tooling, and frameworks for experimentation and configuration management that drive developer productivity across research and production workloads
You may be a good fit if you:
Have deep experience with configuration management, feature flagging, and/or experimentation platforms in a large-scale environment
Have strong proficiency in Python, Rust and/or Go
Are obsessed with developer productivity and reducing friction in how teams configure, test, and ship changes
Have experience with container orchestration and infrastructure at scale
Have excellent communication skills and enjoy supporting internal partners to improve their development experience
Are excited about designing foundational systems and are comfortable working independently on ambiguous, high-impact technical challenges
Strong candidates may have:
Have 15+ years (not including internships or co-ops) of experience in a Software Engineer role, building and operating large-scale developer infrastructure
Have 3+ years (not including internships or co-ops) of experience leading large scale, complex projects or teams as an engineer or tech lead
Experience with config or experimentation platforms such as Statsig, GrowthBook, LaunchDarkly, Optimizely, Unleash, or similar (including building such systems in-house)
Experience designing experimentation frameworks — randomization, assignment, metrics pipelines, and statistical analysis for A/B testing at scale
Experience with dynamic configuration systems and safe rollout mechanisms (gradual rollouts, kill switches, targeting rules)
Experience building CLI tools, developer-facing services, and APIs/automation workflows that integrate config and experimentation into existing CI/CD pipelines
Deadline to apply: None. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Anthropic's Enterprise Knowledge Work team builds the products that help enterprise knowledge workers collaborate deeply with Claude for major parts of their work.
Over the past year, AI has transformed how software engineering happens; for the rest of knowledge work, though, using AI still mostly means answering questions and producing first drafts — a small slice of the actual job.
We're building toward something bigger: people and agents working together on every core work objective, from first idea to finished product, and the recurring work of a team running with Claude in the loop instead of a person pushing every step. It's an enormous space, it's early, and no one has built it well yet.
You'll help decide what these products are, not just how they're built — the product questions are as open as the architecture ones — and you'll see your work land with real teams at the world's largest enterprises.
What you'll do
Own technical design and delivery for enterprise-facing core products, end-to-end across the stack
Partner with product, design, and go-to-market to turn enterprise customer workflows into shipped product, not just execute against a spec
Set technical direction and standards for your team: architecture, code quality, and how the team builds
Work directly with enterprise customers and sales during key conversations, translating what you learn into engineering priorities
Work closely with research to make the models better in your domain: shaping evals, surfacing failure modes, and feeding customer learnings back into model development
Mentor other engineers and raise the technical bar across the team, working with influence rather than authority
Build the core primitives that enable knowledge workers across industries and roles to meaningfully leverage Claude
You may be a good fit if you
Have 8+ years of software engineering experience, ideally with 2+ years at a Staff or equivalent technical leadership level
Have led the design and delivery of complex customer-facing products across the full stack
Have built AI products and know what it takes to turn model capabilities into applications people actually use
Are comfortable working directly with enterprise customers and translating what you learn into technical decisions
Have built products from 0 to 1 in fast-moving environments, and can set technical direction with limited precedent to lean on
Drive cross-team alignment to ship impactful work, with influence over authority
Strong candidates may also have
Experience working with research to improve domain-specific model capabilities, including evaluation frameworks
Experience as startup founders or early-stage employees

About Anthropic
Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the role
Enterprise is central to Anthropic's mission. The organizations that could benefit most from Claude often have the most demanding needs, with rigorous requirements around end-user experience, procurement, security, and permissions. We believe earning their trust is essential to ensuring AI benefits the world broadly.
We're looking for a Staff+ Platform Engineer for our Enterprise pillar—the team that makes Claude enterprise-ready at scale. When a Fortune 500 company wants to roll out Claude to 100,000 employees, the systems you design—identity, permissions, governance, connectivity, and the data foundations beneath them—are what make it possible. This is a high-agency role: you'll design the abstractions other teams want to adopt, help the team evaluate hard tradeoffs, and be the engineer in the room who can interface with executives and security teams from the world's largest companies.
What you'll do
Define and drive multi-year technical strategy for foundational enterprise systems, including our distributability and multi-cloud direction
Identify and personally lead the highest-complexity, highest-impact engineering initiatives spanning multiple teams
Serve as a primary technical decision-maker for major architectural decisions with org-wide scope
Design the platform primitives—identity, permissions, governance, connectivity, and usage data—that other product teams build on
Partner with teams such as Inference and Platform on foundational systems, Customer Success for the voice of the customer, and Infrastructure and Safeguards on security, privacy, and responsible deployment
Mentor and develop senior engineers across the org, and drive alignment across Product, GTM, and Customer Success while proactively addressing systemic technical risks
You may be a good fit if you
Have 8+ years of engineering experience with a clear track record operating at Staff or equivalent technical leadership level
Have deep expertise in distributed systems and API architecture, and are effective writing design docs, making architectural calls, and coding in critical paths
Have shaped technical strategy at a Cloud Service Provider or large-scale Enterprise SaaS company
Bring strong domain expertise and intuition in enterprise areas such as security, identity, compliance, governance, permissions, and connectivity
Drive the highest-leverage technical outcomes without formal authority—you lead through influence, quality of thinking, and trust
Are highly effective across org boundaries—you build trust with GTM, Platform, Inference, Infrastructure, Privacy, Safeguards, and business stakeholders alike
Strong candidates may also have
Experience with multi-cloud or distributable deployments of complex systems
Experience building the data foundations for enterprise administration—entitlements, metering, usage and cost visibility
The annual compensation range for this role is listed below.
For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.
Annual Salary:
$405,000
—
$485,000 USD
Logistics
Minimum education:
Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
Required field of study:
A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
Minimum years of experience:
Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
Location-based hybrid policy:
Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
Visa sponsorship:
We do sponsor visas! However, we aren't able to successfully sponsor visas for every role and every candidate. But if we make you an offer, we will make every reasonable effort to get you a visa, and we retain an immigration lawyer to help with this.
For roles performing work in California:
We will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with arrest or conviction records or criminal histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of applicable state and local laws, including the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, the City of Los Angeles’ Fair Chance Initiative for Hiring Ordinance, the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers, and the California Fair Chance Act.
We encourage you to apply even if you do not believe you meet every single qualification.
Not all strong candidates will meet every single qualification as listed. Research shows that people who identify as being from underrepresented groups are more prone to experiencing imposter syndrome and doubting the strength of their candidacy, so we urge you not to exclude yourself prematurely and to submit an application if you're interested in this work. We think AI systems like the ones we're building have enormous social and ethical implications. We think this makes representation even more important, and we strive to include a range of diverse perspectives on our team.
Your safety matters to us.
To protect yourself from potential scams, remember that Anthropic recruiters only contact you from @anthropic.com email addresses. In some cases, we may partner with vetted recruiting agencies who will identify themselves as working on behalf of Anthropic. Be cautious of emails from other domains.

This role sits at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Design, CX, Sales, and Marketing, and is responsible for turning technically sophisticated product work into clear narratives, strong launches, and high-quality customer-facing experiences. You’ll go deep on the product, define positioning and messaging, and drive execution across the surfaces that matter most—from in-product copy and changelogs to enablement, documentation inputs, email, and launch communications. This is a hands-on role for someone who combines product judgment, excellent writing, and strong cross-functional leadership.

What you’ll do
- Develop positioning, messaging, and core narratives for feature releases, key launches, and strategic product narratives
- Partner closely with Product management, Engineering, and Design to refine how products are presented across in-product and external surfaces
- Create and coordinate launch deliverables such as changelogs, demos, enablement materials, email, social copy, and go-to-market communications
- Equip Sales, CX, and other customer-facing teams with the context and materials they need to communicate new launches effectively
- Bring customer insight, product understanding, and market context back into product and launch decisions
What we’re looking for
- Exceptional writing and editorial judgment, with the ability to make complex ideas feel clear and compelling
- Strong positioning and messaging skills grounded in customer problems, product truth, and differentiation
- Great project management skills and ability to track large amounts of detail.
- Comfort going deep on product details and building credibility with Product, Engineering, and Design
- Strong judgment, ownership, and the ability to operate autonomously while maintaining a high quality bar
What we offer
We're a small, focused team that cares deeply about the quality of our work and the people we do it with. Here's what you can expect:
- Competitive salary and equity
- Employee-friendly equity terms including early exercise in the US and extended exercise windows
- Daily meal and coffee stipend on every workday
- Paid co-working space or desk
- Health coverage (based on country requirements)
- 5 weeks paid vacation, plus local statutory holidays
- 4 months paid parental leave
- Paid month off after 4 years & every 2 years thereafter
- Regular team events and off-sites
- Remote-first with no required commute
Compensation
For US-based candidates, the expected cash compensation range for this role is $145,000—$192,500. For sales roles, this range represents on-target earnings (OTE), including base salary and variable compensation; for all other roles, it represents base salary. Final compensation is determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. For sales roles, actual earnings vary based on sales performance.
