Director, Partner Growth & Strategy
Classification:
Exempt (Salaried)
Reports to:
SVP Business Development
Role Summary
inKind is looking for a Director of Partner Growth & Strategy to build the strategy, systems, technology, and playbooks that power our Account Management organization.
Our Account Managers own relationships with inKind's restaurant partners and play a critical commercial role—helping partners maximize their relationship with inKind, secure additional funding, add locations, renew, and grow over time. Account Managers report directly to our Regional Sales Managers, giving them strong day-to-day sales leadership, coaching, and support.
This role is designed to complement that structure.
The Director of Partner Growth & Strategy will not directly manage the Account Management team. Instead, this person will own
how Account Management works
: developing the processes, sales methodologies, technology, data, training, product improvements, and partner experiences that allow our Account Managers to become more effective and our restaurant partnerships to become more valuable over time.
This is a highly cross-functional role sitting at the intersection of
Sales, Account Management, Product, Operations, and Technology
.
The right person will approach Account Management not simply as a relationship-management function, but as a scalable growth engine. They will constantly ask:
What are our best Account Managers doing differently? How do we turn that into a repeatable process? What should we automate? What should we build? What data should trigger action? And how do we make every Account Manager better?
What You'll Own
Build the Account Management Operating System
Develop and continuously improve the processes, tools, and methodologies used across the Account Management organization.
Create repeatable playbooks for key partner growth motions, including:
Renewals
Additional funding
New and sister-location expansion
Partner referrals
Slow-redemption intervention
High-performing partner expansion
At-risk partner recovery
Adoption of new inKind products and offerings
Define the triggers, data, messaging, collateral, objection handling, workflows, and expected outcomes associated with each motion.
Identify what our highest-performing Account Managers do differently and turn those behaviors into repeatable practices across the organization.
Own the Partner Lifecycle
Design the ideal restaurant partner journey from initial funding through onboarding, activation, growth, additional funding, renewal, and expansion.
Determine which partner interactions should be relationship-driven, technology-enabled, or fully automated.
Build proactive, data-driven engagement strategies so Account Managers know
which partners need attention, why they need attention, and the highest-value action to take next.
Partner with Sales and Operations leadership to continuously reduce friction throughout the partner lifecycle.
Improve Account Management Sales Effectiveness
Build the sales methodology used by Account Managers to sell renewals, additional funding, additional locations, and other products.
Develop pitch frameworks, business reviews, partner-facing materials, objection-handling guides, and other tools that increase conversion.
Partner with Regional Sales Managers to identify coaching opportunities and translate successful field tactics into organization-wide best practices.
Design training and certification programs that continually improve Account Manager commercial capabilities.
Develop structured experiments to test new messaging, offers, processes, and sales techniques—and scale what works.
Drive Technology & Automation
Partner with Product, Engineering, Salesforce, and Operations teams to make Account Management increasingly technology-enabled and scalable.
Identify manual activities that can be automated or moved into self-service experiences.
Help develop systems that proactively identify opportunities and risks across the restaurant portfolio, including:
Partners eligible for additional funding
Upcoming renewal opportunities
Newly opened or missing locations
Changes in redemption or sales pacing
At-risk accounts
Expansion opportunities
Partners requiring intervention
Help define the vision for an Account Management "cockpit" that allows each AM to quickly understand where to focus their time and what action to take.
Help Shape the Partner Product
Serve as a structured voice of the restaurant partner within inKind.
Develop systems for capturing and categorizing partner feedback, objections, product requests, and operational friction.
Partner closely with Product leadership to translate restaurant feedback and Account Manager insights into actionable product opportunities.
Play a key role in shaping the continued development of the inKind Partner Portal and other restaurant-facing technology.
Use data to quantify partner friction and product opportunities rather than relying solely on anecdotal feedback.
Build the Measurement Framework
Develop the KPIs and reporting required to understand Account Management effectiveness and partner health.
Measure performance across areas such as:
Renewal rate
Incremental funding
Location expansion
Partner engagement
Funding eligibility and conversion
Credit pacing
Time from opportunity identification to close
Portfolio growth
Partner retention
Create visibility into performance across Account Managers, regions, partner segments, and lifecycle stages.
Use these insights to identify opportunities for improvement in people, process, product, and technology.
How You'll Work
This role will operate as the connective tissue between our Account Managers and the teams building the systems around them.
Regional Sales Managers will continue to own the day-to-day management, coaching, and commercial performance of Account Managers.
You will own the
system in which they operate
.
You will spend time with Account Managers understanding what happens in the field, with Sales leaders understanding what drives conversion, with Product understanding what we can build, with Operations understanding what we can automate, and with data identifying where the biggest opportunities exist.
Your job is to turn those insights into measurable improvements.
What Success Looks Like
Within your first year, we expect to see:
A clearly defined Account Management methodology and partner lifecycle
Repeatable playbooks for our major renewal and expansion motions
Better visibility into partner health and growth opportunities
Increased renewal and additional-funding conversion
Faster identification and pursuit of expansion opportunities
More consistent performance across Account Managers
Increased Account Manager capacity through automation and self-service
A stronger feedback loop between restaurant partners, Account Management, and Product
Meaningful improvements to our Partner Portal and internal Account Management technology
A culture of continuously testing, measuring, and improving how we grow existing restaurant partnerships
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who combines the commercial instincts of a sales leader with the systems thinking of a product or operations leader.
The ideal candidate:
Has experience building or scaling Account Management, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, Sales Strategy, Partner Growth, or similar functions
Has a strong understanding of B2B sales and expansion motions
Is highly analytical and comfortable using data to diagnose problems and identify opportunities
Has experience developing sales processes, playbooks, and training
Understands CRM systems, sales automation, and workflow design
Has experience partnering with Product and Engineering teams
Can translate frontline customer feedback into scalable product and process improvements
Is comfortable designing and running experiments
Has exceptional cross-functional leadership skills
Is equally comfortable talking to an Account Manager about objection handling and a Product Manager about workflow automation
Has a strong bias toward action and measurable outcomes
Experience in restaurants, hospitality, fintech, payments, marketplaces, SaaS, or other multi-location businesses is a plus.
The Person Who Will Thrive Here
You are probably not someone who is satisfied simply managing an existing Account Management playbook.
You want to build a better one.
When one Account Manager significantly outperforms another, you want to understand
why
.
When Account Managers repeatedly perform the same manual task, you want to understand
why it isn't automated
.
When restaurant partners repeatedly raise the same objection, you want to understand whether we should
change the pitch, change the process, or change the product
.
And when something works, you want to figure out how to make it work across the entire organization.
This is an opportunity to build the infrastructure behind a rapidly growing restaurant partner network and help define how inKind manages, grows, and serves those partnerships at scale.
Who we are:
inKind connects passionate diners with exceptional restaurants across the country. inKind partners with thousands of restaurants and has millions of users who want to discover great places, dine confidently, and earn meaningful rewards.
Through the inKind app, guests earn 20% back every time they dine, turning everyday meals into something more rewarding. From celebrated restaurant groups like José Andres and Michael Mina to beloved neighborhood favorites, inKind helps diners explore the best restaurants in town while supporting the restaurants and chefs who shape how their cities eat.
Rooted in hospitality and built on a win-win philosophy, inKind exists to help great restaurants thrive while inspiring guests to dine out more often. Every meal creates value on both sides of the table, empowering diners to savor more while strengthening the restaurant community.
inKind is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We believe that diversity is vital to inKind's ability to provide our clients with the best recommendations and are committed to fostering a varied and inclusive work environment. Your race, color, ancestry, religion, gender, gender identity, national origin, sexual orientation, age, marital status, disability status, veteran status, or any other protected category have no bearing on our hiring decisions.
By submitting this application, you acknowledge that inKind Cards, Inc. may share the information you provide with trusted third-party service providers, including fraud detection and application processing partners, to evaluate your application and ensure the integrity of our hiring process. From idea to product, Figma empowers teams to streamline workflows, move faster, and work together in real time from anywhere in the world. If you're excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us!
At Figma, we're building a vibrant community where designers and product builders come together to learn, grow, and connect around their shared passion. Our Advocacy team is central to this mission—empowering our users through engaging content, meaningful interactions, and genuine advocacy.
We're looking for a Designer Advocate to partner closely with our Marketing, Sales, and Product teams. You'll bring deep design expertise, strong product intuition, and a genuine love for the design community into our go-to-market strategies. You'll also champion our users' voices internally, ensuring their perspectives shape our product evolution.
You'll be covering the DACH region, where our main languages are German and Polish. Being fluent in either/both of these languages is pretty much a plus!
This is a full time, hybrid role based out of our Berlin hub.
What you'll do at Figma:
Empower users at scale: Collaborate closely with Sales and Customer Experience teams to help customers unlock the full potential of Figma across real product workflows
Create compelling content: Develop written, visual, and video resources that reflect how modern teams actually design and build, from early exploration to production-ready systems
Inspire community connections: Foster meaningful relationships within the Figma community, identify collaboration opportunities, and nurture user-driven initiatives
Speak and engage at events: Regularly present at industry meetups, conferences, and community events, sharing practical insights from real-world design work
Champion user voices: Stay attuned to community feedback, sentiment, and emerging design trends—advocating internally to inform product decisions and improvements
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
Deep, hands-on Figma expertise and an entrepreneurial drive, with experience embedding Figma in real product teams and taking ideas from early exploration to polished, impactful outcomes
A thorough understanding of modern product design workflows, development environments, design systems, tokens, and AI-assisted design or prototyping
Strong technical design skills, including experience working alongside developers or building tools that support design systems, and an understanding of how design decisions translate into development at scale
Clear, compelling communication skills, with the confidence to explain complex workflows and systems, speak publicly, and engage large audiences
A passion for contributing to the design community and a willingness to travel up to 25% of the time to connect with it in person
While it's not required, it's an added plus if you also have:
Fluency in German or Polish

Video is one of the most powerful ways we bring the Figma brand to life, and we are building the function to match that ambition. As a Video Strategist, you will define what video does for this brand and build the operation that delivers it: the strategy, the franchises people come back for, the production model behind them, and eventually the team that runs it all. You will sit within Brand Marketing and partner closely with design, creative, comms, product marketing, community, and advocacy to turn complex product and customer stories into work people want to watch and share.
This is a rare combination. Figma is a beloved brand with a creative community that already wants to hear from us, and a video function that is still yours to build.
This is a full time role based in San Francisco or New York hub, or remotely in the United States.
What you’ll do at Figma:
Set the strategy: Define the role video plays across brand, social, editorial, product launch, community, and event moments. Own the format architecture and the prioritization framework that decides what we make and what we pass on
Build franchises: Create and run a portfolio of recurring video programs that compound audience over time, alongside the campaign and launch work. Own the development pipeline for new formats and the call to renew, evolve, or retire a series
Build the engine: Decide what we produce in-house, what goes to agencies and directors, and what we source from creators, with the economics behind each. Own the video budget and vendor relationships, and build the standards we are missing today around briefing, review, rights, and asset reuse
Lead the craft: Set and hold the quality bar for video made anywhere under the Figma brand. Write and approve briefs, run creative reviews, and enable cross-functional teams producing their own video with guardrails and coaching rather than gatekeeping
Measure what matters: Partner with our Brand Marketing Technologist to define what good looks like for each format and franchise, instrument it, and report it in a way that changes what we make next
Grow the team: Lead, hire, and develop the video team and the external bench, and make the case for the resourcing the strategy requires
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
10+ years across video, brand storytelling, editorial, content strategy, or production leadership, including several years leading a video function or team
A track record creating and running recurring video franchises that outlasted a single season and grew an audience
Experience owning a production model end to end: the in-house versus agency versus creator call, a real budget, and the partner relationships behind it
People leadership. You have hired, developed, and given hard feedback to producers, editors, or an external bench
Fluency across the format spectrum, from social-first short-form to long-form storytelling, launch films, and customer narratives, with clear opinions on what each format is good for
The ability to set a creative bar for work made by people who do not report to you, and to hold it without becoming the bottleneck
Comfort as the video voice in rooms with senior stakeholders, including the judgment to disagree productively and the measurement literacy to defend your decisions
While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
Hands-on editing or motion graphics ability. We are not hiring you to sit on a timeline, but craft fluency sharpens judgment and helps you move fast
Experience with live event and conference content at scale
Familiarity with music licensing, talent releases, and usage rights at volume
Experience building creator and influencer partnerships
Experience scaling video inside a company going through rapid growth or a brand evolution
At Figma, one of our values is Grow as you go. We believe in hiring smart, curious people who are excited to learn and develop their skills. About Vercel:
Vercel is the agentic infrastructure company, freeing people and agents to ship what's next. For more than a decade we've helped builders move from idea to production with speed, security, and exceptional developer experience.
Now we're scaling our products for both agents and people to ship and run software, built in the open and trusted by OpenAI, PayPal, Ramp, Supreme, and millions of developers worldwide.
About the role
The Scheduled Tasks team builds the platform primitives that let applications and agents run work now, later, or for a long time. We own Vercel Workflows, Queues, and Cron: the systems developers use to build long-running, event-driven, and scheduled applications.
You will join a team working at the intersection of developer experience and distributed systems. Together, we are building and scaling the products that make it straightforward for developers to coordinate background work, move messages between services, and schedule work with confidence. You will collaborate closely with engineers across Vercel to make these powerful capabilities feel simple, composable, and native to the platform.
What you'll do
Design, build, and operate platform capabilities across Workflows, Queues, and Cron.
Help developers build applications and agents that coordinate background, event-driven, and scheduled work.
Build APIs, SDKs, and tooling that make it easy to define, run, and manage durable work at scale.
Work on the distributed-systems foundations behind scheduling, message delivery, execution, retries, and state.
Partner with product, developer experience, and infrastructure teams to turn customer needs into clear, useful developer primitives.
Raise the engineering bar through thoughtful design reviews, well-tested code, production ownership, and clear technical communication.
Engage with developers and the open-source community to understand where background jobs, queues, and scheduling create friction—and use that feedback to improve the platform.
What you need
You have 5+ years of experience building and operating distributed systems, developer platforms, or cloud infrastructure.
Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and open-source infrastructure or developer tools is a plus.
You are comfortable working across APIs, runtimes, storage, networking, and production operations.
You have experience with one or more of: job queues, schedulers, workflow orchestration, event-driven systems, state machines, stream processing, or durable execution.
You understand the tradeoffs behind delivery guarantees, retries, idempotency, concurrency, and fault tolerance—and can turn those tradeoffs into usable product primitives.
You write high-quality, well-tested code and enjoy solving complex technical problems.
You communicate clearly, collaborate well across teams, and help a growing team converge on strong technical decisions.
Benefits & Compensation:
Competitive compensation package, including equity.
Inclusive Healthcare Package.
Learn and Grow - we provide mentorship and send you to events that help you build your network and skills.
Flexible Time Off.
We will provide you the gear you need to do your role, and a WFH budget for you to outfit your space as needed.
The base pay range for this role is $196,000.00 - $312,000.00. Actual salary will be based on job-related skills, experience, and location. Compensation outside of San Francisco may be adjusted based on employee location. The total compensation package may include benefits, equity-based compensation, and eligibility for a company bonus or variable pay program depending on the role. Your recruiter can share more details during the hiring process.

You’ll be part of a team that challenges the status quo, and is excited to experiment and iterate in search of the best solution. That said, 1Password is not for everyone https://blog.1password.com/inside-the-culture-powering-1passwords-next-chapter/. Our work is demanding, we strive for excellence, and the pace is fast. We need people who are keen to take on challenging problems, who seek feedback to grow, and who are driven to make an impact. If you're looking for a place where you can settle into a comfortable routine, this might not be the right fit for you. We’re looking for individuals who are proven experts in their fields, as well as those who are highly adaptable, can thrive in ambiguity and through change, are curious, and above all deliver results.
How we work with AI
We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password.
This approach extends to our hiring process—candidates are welcome to use AI tools responsibly and thoughtfully during the application process. To us, this means we do ask that you join live interviews without using AI tools so we can get to know how you communicate, solve problems, and collaborate with others.
Our approach to work
We recognize the power of both in person collaboration and remote work. Some roles are designated as remote-first, with an expectation that individuals work from their homes majority of the time, while others are designated as in-office roles, with an expectation of being on-site on a regular basis. We recognize that certain roles benefit from regular, in-person connection to support collaboration, team cohesion, and customer engagement.
For all roles, occasional travel may be required. This includes things like: department-wide offsites, quarterly department meetings and periodic customer events. These events are typically held in varying locations across Canada, USA and/or EMEA. In leadership roles, you can expect to travel once per month on average.

STAFF PLATFORM ENGINEER, AGENTIC ENGINEERING
Developer Productivity · AI Coding Agents · Developer Platform
Our ambition: an engineering organisation where humans and agents work as one continuously learning system, turning frontier AI capabilities and real-world feedback into more ambitious product development. We want n8n to be the reference for how this is done, without compromising quality, resilience or trust. Your main goal is to make that real.
This is a Staff individual contributor role in Developer Platform and the technical driving force behind ACDC (Agent-centric Development Cycle), our engineering-wide initiative for agentic development. Nobody has a playbook for this yet. You'll write ours.
You won't start from zero. Agents wired into Linear already automate around 80% of the development cycle on one of our developer platform projects, alongside pilots for insight, feature-flag and PR-review agents and a shared agent harness. Your job is to take this from promising experiments to the way n8n builds software.
This role is for someone who thinks about this problem constantly. You run agents all day, rebuild your own workflow every time the frontier moves, and have more ideas than time.
You'll stay hands-on, building the first versions yourself, and shape how the work grows beyond one person.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
SET DIRECTION AND OWN THE OUTCOME
- Identify where agentic development can make the greatest difference, using developer feedback, existing experiments and engineering performance data.
- Set the strategy and priorities across agent execution, repository readiness, CI, security and developer workflows.
- Make build, buy or pass decisions on tools and vendors, and own the cost and value trade-offs, including AI spend.
- Make decisions where requirements are incomplete and the trade-offs between autonomy, reliability, security and review effort are still emerging.
- Build alignment through technical proposals, clear decisions and working software, and report progress and impact to engineering leadership.
BUILD THE FOUNDATIONS
- Design and build isolated execution environments where agents can work with the right access to code, tools and context, without exposing secrets or sensitive systems.
- Own the safety model: which task categories agents may attempt, what they must never touch, and where human review is required, partnering with Security on sensitive areas like auth, billing, permissions and data handling.
- Make n8n's monorepo agent-ready, working with Architecture and senior engineers on repo structure, testability, boundaries and the context agents need.
INTEGRATE AGENTS INTO HOW WE WORK
- Build repeatable workflows that take Linear issues through agent execution, self-verification and review to merged PRs, across a growing range of task types.
- Integrate agentic workflows with GitHub, CI, test infrastructure and code review, so the agentic path becomes the easiest path for engineers.
- Extend the loop beyond coding: connect earlier signals like product research and customer requests, and later ones like production metrics, so agents contribute across the whole cycle.
- Open it up beyond engineering, so PMs, designers and others can turn a well-defined issue into a reviewed, mergeable change.
- Shape review practices, such as PR evidence that shows what changed, what ran, what risks remain and where human judgment is needed.
MEASURE WHAT WORKS
- Build benchmarks from real historical engineering tasks to evaluate output quality, failure modes, review burden and production risk.
- Define and track quality and adoption signals, such as reviewer acceptance rate, CI pass rate, rework rate and developer satisfaction.
- Use data and feedback to change course, retire what doesn't work, and build trust across engineering.
REQUIREMENTS
MUST-HAVES
- 🔥 Frontier obsession: You live at the frontier. You try new models and tools as they land, and you have strong, evidence-backed opinions on what's real and what's hype.
- 🧭 Staff-scope ownership: You’ve led complex platform, DevEx or engineering productivity initiatives across teams, from defining the problem to sustained adoption and measurable impact, where there was no established approach to follow.
- 🤖 Agentic depth: You use coding agents daily as a power user, and you've built infrastructure around them, such as repo context and instructions, tool or MCP integrations, sandboxed execution or agent workflows in CI, that other engineers rely on.
- 🎯 Product mindset for internal platforms: You treat engineers as your customers. You start from real friction, prioritise by impact, make build-vs-buy calls, weigh cost against value, and let adoption tell you whether something works.
- 🤝 Direction without authority: You've set technical direction that multiple teams followed, through proposals, design reviews and credibility with senior engineers across Platform, Product Engineering, AI, Security and Architecture.
- 🔐 Safety judgment: You've made real decisions on permissions, secrets, sandboxing, sensitive code paths and human-in-the-loop review, and can explain the trade-offs.
- 📊 Measurement that drives decisions: You've built evaluations, benchmarks or quality metrics and used them to change course or retire things that didn't work. You care about outcomes, not lines of AI-generated code.
- ✍️ Writing that changes decisions: Your technical proposals and documentation have shifted what teams did.
NICE-TO-HAVES
- 📦 TypeScript monorepos: You have worked in a large TypeScript, Node.js or JavaScript monorepo.
- ⚙️ Developer platforms: You have experience with GitHub Actions, Linear, test infrastructure, preview environments or internal developer platforms.
- 🧑🤝🧑 Growing a team: You've mentored engineers or helped shape a new team as an initiative grew beyond one person.
- 🌍 Open-source communities: You have contributed to open-source or source-available projects with active developer communities.
- 🏢 B2B SaaS context: You understand environments where reliability, permissions, data handling and customer trust are central.
- 🔗 Workflow automation: You're familiar with workflow automation, integration platforms, AI orchestration or developer-facing products.
WHY JOIN US?
At n8n, you'll define how autonomous AI agents become a trusted part of engineering inside one of Europe's fastest-growing AI-native infrastructure companies. Your work will shape the platform foundations, safety model, evaluation framework and developer workflows that decide whether agents can contribute meaningfully to production engineering without lowering the quality bar.
You'll join a remote-first team with high autonomy, high visibility and a strong builder mindset. Because this is a first-of-its-kind role, you'll set direction, influence engineering culture, and create learnings that may inform both our internal engineering and n8n's product thinking.
Sound like a challenge you're excited to take on?
Apply now, and help us build the future of automation.

We are hiring a

, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO). This role leads Canonical’s global Legal and Compliance function.
This is a unique opportunity for an
exceptional and commercially-minded senior lawyer
to lead the legal and compliance function of a profitable, fast-growing technology company that is privately held with the intention to list on a public exchange. We’re looking for someone with genuine fluency in the software industry and in open source dynamics, who can translate that insight into clear positions on licensing, commercial contracts and risk, and hands-on execution.
Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will
own Canonical's legal, regulatory and governance posture
and lead a distributed team across EMEA and the Americas. Your primary challenge will be to continue building both the team and the architecture: a management layer across two regions, and the governance, contracting and controls a public company needs, in an environment that regularly does things the industry has not done before. You will work closely with our product and engineering teams on licensing and IP questions, with the security function on customer assurance, and you will advise the Board and its committees directly.
In our selection process, we
prioritize intellect and judgement
alongside depth of practice. We are looking for someone with a strong academic background, an active licence to practice, and demonstrable exposure to a multilayered global operational environment.
Location:
This role will be based in our office in London, UK.
The role entails
Leading the global Legal and Compliance function: setting it's structure, standards and priorities across EMEA and the Americas.
Building and managing a management capability: hire and develop managers, set objectives, review performance against a clear bar, and address under-performance directly.
Setting the operating cadence of the function: intake and prioritization of legal work, service expectations with internal clients, and reporting on workload and risk to the leadership team.
Owning public-market readiness on the legal side: corporate governance, group and entity structure, delegated authority, policies, disclosure controls and records, in partnership with Finance.
Advising the CEO, COO, CFO and the Board, and supporting in Board and committee meetings.
Owning the commercial contracting framework: standard templates, negotiating positions, and a deviation and escalation process that makes commitments visible before they are signed.
Leading intellectual property and open source licensing strategy, including copyleft, trademark and the terms on which Ubuntu and our products are distributed.
Owning the global compliance programme: data protection and privacy, export controls and trade compliance, anti-bribery and corruption, competition and AI regulation.
Managing litigation, disputes and regulatory engagement, together with the external counsel panel, its budget and its quality.
Advising on M&A, partnerships, strategic alliances and financing as the company grows.
What we are looking for in you
An exceptional academic track record from both high school and university.
A degree in law, or equivalent, and an active licence to practice in an EMEA or Americas jurisdiction.
Substantial senior in-house experience in a global technology or software business.
Proven experience leading a distributed legal team, including managing managers across regions and time zones.
A track record of setting and holding a high performance bar: hiring well, developing people, and dealing with under performance directly rather than waiting it out.
Experience building or restructuring an in-house legal function, including deciding what is retained, delegated and sent to external counsel.
Technology related experience of:
negotiating and owning commercial technology contracts, including enterprise software and subscriptions, channel and reseller agreements, hardware manufacturer agreements, cloud and services
advising on open source licensing, including permissive and copyleft licences, and familiarity with how open source communities operate.
Experience of, or demonstrable readiness for, public company governance: listing preparation, board and committee support, disclosure and controls.
Depth in at least two of: data protection and privacy, IP and trademark, export controls and trade, competition, or disputes.
Confidence to respectfully speak up, exchange feedback, hold colleagues accountable, and share ideas without hesitation.
Professional written and spoken English with excellent drafting and presentation skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills, curiosity, flexibility, and accountability.

Nice-to-have skills
Experience taking a company through an IPO, or practicing as counsel inside a listed company.
A technical or engineering background, or fluency in how software is built and shipped.
Experience of a subscription or recurring-revenue business model.
Experience building or restructuring an in-house legal function.
A qualification in more than one jurisdiction.

We balance our programs to meet local needs and ensure fairness globally.
Distributed work environment with twice-yearly team sprints in person.
Personal learning and development budget of USD 2,000 per year.

Company recognition rewards.
40 days annual leave per annum, including public holidays and our All Company holiday periods.

About the role
This role runs the internal posture engine — the risk register, critical control monitoring, evidence, audit operations and GRC tooling. It keeps risk state current so the Lead and the Risk Committee decide from accurate data in the Risk Dashboard and reporting. Drata is the register of record. Named owners close gaps; this role keeps the register, evidence and audit operations current.
Responsibilities
Planning
Operate the risk register from the Security Programme threat model: populate, track treatment, record acceptance decisions, follow up owners, and run the exceptions register.
Keep the ISMS and security policy library current as part of audit readiness. Draft security standards when commissioned by the Lead.
Run Drata as the control and evidence system — Statement of Applicability, framework crosswalk and automation.
Execution
Run critical control monitoring: health check-ins, drift flags and Drata automation. Route drift to the SOC. Maintain the evidence file for Lead assessments and independent internal audit.
Feed threat-assessment findings into the register and confidence ratings. Track which required assessments are current.
Lead audit coordination and preparation: ISO 27001 and SOC 2 logistics, ISMS readiness, team prep, management-review pack, and customer due-diligence questionnaires.
Coordinate the control register for external testing (red team, tabletop, pentest). Run security awareness and weekly alerts.
Tracking and evaluating performance
Track residual risk, exceptions and gap-closure against appetite. Exceptions expire and are reported; the underlying requirement stays in force.
Report register state and evidence health so the Lead and Risk Committee work from one view.
Achieving overall defined performance
Be accountable for a current, defensible posture engine — register, evidence and audit operations.
Ensure Drata collects evidence continuously, with automated evidence where coverage exists.
Qualifications
Hands-on experience running a risk register, control library and audit cycle (ISO 27001 and/or SOC 2).
Comfortable with GRC platforms (Drata or equivalent) and turning monitoring into evidence.
Proven ability to coordinate audits and customer questionnaires with named control owners.
Precise written work; register and Statement of Applicability quality matters.
Strong stakeholder management with control owners and auditors.
CISA, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer or Auditor, or equivalent professional certification.

Figma is growing our team of passionate creatives and builders on a mission to make design accessible to all. Figma’s platform helps teams bring ideas to life—whether you're brainstorming, creating a prototype, translating designs into code, or iterating with AI. From idea to product, Figma empowers teams to streamline workflows, move faster, and work together in real time from anywhere in the world. If you're excited to shape the future of design and collaboration, join us!
The Figma Research team is hiring an experienced researcher for our Rapid Research program. We're product builders who bring research expertise to the team, working closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to clarify problems, test ideas, and recommend what to change—often in one- to two-week sprints.
You'll rotate across product areas, ramp up quickly, and build relationships as you go, energized by unfamiliar products and ambiguous problems and ready to take initiative rather than wait for a fully scoped brief. You bring strong opinions about what makes a great experience, grounded in the needs of the people using it, spot connections across product areas, and combine deep qualitative and quantitative research expertise with a flexible, resourceful approach to moving quickly without sacrificing rigor. Beyond individual studies, you bring a clear point of view on what to build or change, tailor your communication to your audience, and are willing to challenge assumptions and say the hard thing with care—asking for help when you need it and offering it when others do.
This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
What you'll do at Figma:
Scope and run focused research in quick sprints, using sound methods to answer the questions most likely to change a product decision
Turn findings into specific recommendations a designer or PM can act on, working through tradeoffs and helping the team put them into practice
Present product recommendations to cross-functional teams and senior leadership, telling the story behind the data, not just reporting insights
Rotate across product areas and teams as needed, building credibility and relationships quickly without being embedded long-term
Contribute beyond research studies by using our products, joining design reviews, and helping teams recognize when they have enough information to act
Bring clarity to ambiguous problems, challenge assumptions, and adjust the scope or approach as you learn
Experiment with tools, templates, and workflows to make research faster and sharper
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
7+ years of experience in research at high-growth product organizations, UX/design agencies, or strategic consultancies focused on digital experiences
Proficiency in mixed methods research, including qualitative approaches such as interviews and quantitative approaches such as surveys and data analysis
Strong product judgment, with examples of specific recommendations you made and how they shaped the product, backed by strong communication and storytelling skills with a track record of securing executive buy-in
Experience ramping up quickly on new projects and delivering clear recommendations in one- to two-week research sprints, turning ambiguous problems into clear questions and a practical path forward
A scrappy, flexible approach, adapting to changing priorities and tight timelines while maintaining sound research methods, including active use of AI tools to improve speed, quality, or scale
While it's not required, it's an added plus if you also have:
Proficiency in designing and prototyping, ideally within the Figma suite of tools
Familiarity with researching design tools, developer tools, creative software, or other products people use to build things
A background in product design, product management, or engineering
Ability to combine product analytics with qualitative research to inform recommendations

Coding agents are only as good as the context they're given. Most explore a repository like a new hire on day one – grepping, opening files, guessing. JetBrains Context replaces that with actual knowledge of your whole codebase and resources, served to any agent that asks. If you want to own the layer that decides what an agent knows before it writes a single line, this is for you.
About JetBrains
We create intelligent software development tools for developers and teams. More than 15 million users, over 300,000 companies, and 88 of the Fortune Global Top 100 rely on our products to solve real, complex problems. Our mission is simple: make development teams more productive and AI adoptable at scale.
What you’ll do
As agents get better at searching for themselves, what is the durable value of a managed retrieval layer? We need someone with an opinionated answer to own JetBrains Context as a product – defining what it is for, who it is for, how we measure success, and where it goes next.
This is a hands-on role where you'll manage the product from a terminal and agent session rather than slides. You'll bridge the technical core and cross-functional teams: collaborating closely with engineering and ML teams on indexing pipelines and retrieval quality, working with Air, IDE, and Junie teams on integrations, and partnering with marketing, developer advocacy, sales, and customer success on positioning and adoption. You'll take full ownership of defining problem statements, setting explicit trade-offs, and balancing cost, latency, and freshness across the platform.
Day to day, you will:
Build and maintain a deep working understanding of chunking, embeddings, index freshness, retrieval, reranking, and agent-facing surfaces.
Define and defend an opinionated vision for the product's evolution, including explicit target audiences, use cases, and key success metrics.
Translate product strategy into actionable problem statements, priorities, plans, and milestones with an explicit definition of “done”.
Communicate product direction clearly to engineering, leadership, cross-functional stakeholders, customers, and prospects.
Analyze competing context and code-search products through direct use to establish clear differentiators and identify gaps.
Define core operational and product metrics – index freshness, retrieval quality, agent task outcomes, adoption, retention, and unit economics – to guide decision-making.
Represent the product externally by sharing roadmaps, publishing updates, speaking to developer audiences, and gathering community feedback.
Partner with ML teams on model evaluation and platform teams on service scale, reliability, and cost.
What you’ll bring
A well-argued point of view on where AI-first development is going and what agents genuinely need from a context layer.
Comfort with technical depth across embeddings, retrieval quality, sub-agents, tool-calling, indexing costs, and API design.
The habit of using the product you build daily alongside competitors' tools.
Communication that adapts to different audiences, from staff engineers and enterprise architects to conference attendees.
A data-informed approach that combines telemetry, evaluation results, customer conversations, and market signals.
Comfort with ambiguity and a preference for defining a new category over copying an existing one.
What you’ll need
Proven experience owning a complex developer, platform, or infrastructure product end to end, including strategy and roadmap.
Hands-on familiarity with modern AI coding tools and agent workflows.
The technical capability to work directly with engineering on retrieval behavior, APIs, data models, and integration surfaces.
The ability to define metrics for quality-sensitive products and build evaluation habits that maintain product standards.
Experience communicating a product externally through written content, talks, or community engagement.
Practical experience with search, retrieval, RAG, developer search, or static analysis at scale is a plus.
What success looks like
Within your first months, you'll form and share a clear thesis for what JetBrains Context is and is not – one the engineering team recognizes as theirs and leadership can invest in. You'll establish a metrics story that distinguishes real retrieval quality from vanity usage, a roadmap with clear trade-offs, and a documented evaluation of serious competitors.
Longer term, success means JetBrains Context becomes a deliberate choice for developers and organizations, agents get measurably better answers because it exists, enterprises adopt it for its governance and scale, and the market clearly understands its unique value because you've communicated it effectively.
