Deputy Chief Data Officer (Deputy CDO)
Cyprus / Worldwide – Remote (Any Location) · Full-Time · Research Center
Social Discovery Group (SDG) is a group of social discovery companies. SDG solves the problems of loneliness, isolation, and disconnection - transforming virtual intimacy into the new normal. SDG’s products redefine the way people interact and connect with one another.
Our portfolio includes social entertainment platforms designed to connect people online across different cultures and regions of the world.
We bring together a team of like-minded people and IT professionals who specialize in creating and developing globally impactful social discovery products. Our international team of digital nomads works remotely from all over the world.
We’re proud to be a two-time “Great Place to Work” winner (USA & Japan, 2024–2025) and a Top-5 Company for Work-From-Anywhere Jobs (FlexJobs, 2025).
We are looking for a Deputy Chief Data Officer for the Research Center of the Core Business Unit — the #2 role in a data function that directly drives company P&L.
We see the Deputy CDO as a full-fledged successor to the CDO: a leader who can take over the function when needed. Together, the CDO and the Deputy CDO make sure we do the right things and that these things reach measurable results fast and predictably. The Deputy CDO owns execution across the function, leads part of the strategic initiatives personally and works directly with C-level executives. This is not a chief of staff or program manager role: we need a leader who goes deep into the substance of analytics, ML, data engineering, marketing analytics, UX research and experimentation, and turns strategy into business results.
Your main tasks will be:
Lead part of the Research Center’s strategic initiatives end-to-end — from business case and prioritization to delivery and measurable impact.
Work directly with C-level executives and business heads: align priorities, commitments and trade-offs, negotiate resources and timelines with clear, numbers-based arguments.
Own the execution of key cross-functional initiatives across the Research Center: data platform and BigQuery migration, ML projects with complex dependencies, experimentation process, AI for analytics, UX research, data quality / SLA / freshness.
Unblock stalled projects: when work is stuck between teams or has no clear owner, define scope, owners, next steps and blockers, escalate early and drive it to delivery.
Manage resources and backlog across teams: prioritize by business value, allocate capacity, manage dependencies between ML, backend, product and analytics, stop or rethink initiatives that don’t deliver.
Build and run the operating system of the function: monthly reviews, quarterly planning, project reviews, retros, commitment tracking, escalation process and a single status dashboard — working with or without any single person.
Measure everything in business terms: translate initiatives into numbers, benefits and expected impact; track ROI and results against plan; make sure “we shipped the task” is never mistaken for “the business changed”.
Strengthen the team leads (Product Analytics, Data Engineering, ML, UX Research): help them set goals, prioritize, give honest feedback and grow as managers.
Own the operational health of the function: data freshness, platform uptime, ML platform stability, delivery predictability and experimentation throughput.
We expect from you:
7+ years in data, analytics or ML in product tech companies, including 4+ years in leadership roles managing strong specialists and team leads.
Experience as a CDO, Deputy CDO or Head of Data / Analytics in a mid-size or large product organization is highly desirable.
Readiness and ambition to grow into the CDO role: strategic thinking combined with the willingness to own day-to-day execution.
A broad understanding of all Research Center domains: product and marketing analytics, A/B testing and experimentation, the ML lifecycle from idea to production, data platforms, data quality and SLA, BI / self-service, unit economics. Hands-on depth in at least one of them.
Proven track record of execution: concrete examples of delivering complex cross-functional data / ML projects to measurable results.
Strong operational management skills: project decomposition, planning, resource and backlog management, risk management, clean escalation, running many parallel initiatives.
Business leader mindset: thinks in numbers, benefits and business impact; understands trade-offs between speed, quality, value and risk; always asks “what changed for the business?”.
Experience working with and negotiating with C-level executives: confident, precise with numbers, persuasive through facts.
Influence without formal authority: earns trust through competence and results; able to push hard and handle conflict without becoming toxic.
Systematic, disciplined and persistent; comfortable with ambiguity and multitasking.
Fluent Russian and English are a must.
What do we offer:
REMOTE OPPORTUNITY to work full time;
The initial pay level or pay range for this role will be shared with candidates during the recruitment process and before the commencement of employment;
Vacation 28 calendar days per year;
7 wellness days per year (time off) that can be used to deal with household issues, to lie down and recover without taking sick leave;
Compensation of kindergarten or school fees for your child;
Bonuses up to $5000 for recommending successful applicants for positions in the company;
50% payment for professional training, international conferences and meetings;
Corporate discount for English language lessons;
Health benefits. According to the paychecks, if you are not eligible for corporate medical insurance, the company will compensate you with up to $1,000 gross per year per employee. This can be spent on self-purchase of health insurance or on doctor’s fees for yourself and close relatives (spouse, children);
Workplace organization. The company provides all employees with an equipped workplace and all the necessary equipment (table, armchair, wifi, etc.) in our offices or co-working locations. In the other locations, the company provides reimbursement of workplace costs up to $1000 gross once every 3 years, according to the paychecks. This money can be spent on the rent of the co-working room, on equipping the working place at home (desk, chair, Internet, etc.) during those 3 years;
Internal gamified gratitude system: receive bonuses from colleagues and exchange them for merch, team building activities, massage certificates, etc.

About the company
Hi, we're Ondo Finance. Our mission is to provide institutional-grade, blockchain-enabled investment products and services. We have both a technology arm that develops decentralized finance technology, and an asset management arm that creates and manages tokenized funds. We are the global leader in tokenized treasuries, tokenized stocks and ETFs, and are building the future of institutional-grade financial services onchain.
Founded by folks from Goldman Sachs Digital Assets Team, we’re backed by some of the best investors in the world including Founders Fund, Coinbase Ventures, Pantera Capital, Tiger Global, and more. We are currently the leaders in the space in terms of AUM and are well capitalized to continue growing the firm. We're fully remote, with team members across the U.S.
About the role
Ondo Finance is looking for a Senior Product Designer to own, hands-on, the design systems behind everything we ship. You'll own two outright, institutional and consumer, and support the marketing team's system so brand and design-to-code stay tight. Our products move real money, so precision and accessibility are the floor, not the ceiling: we want institutional and consumer users alike to feel the craft, which makes visual expression and motion core to the system. You'll join a small, senior team that runs on high ownership and low ego, and this is a building role: you'll be in Figma and alongside engineers every day, shipping the components and tokens yourself while setting the direction for the systems you own.
Target Outcomes
Both design systems, institutional and consumer, fully adopted across their web and mobile products, with measurable coverage (share of screens built from system components) rising quarter over quarter.
Figma libraries and the front-end component library in parity: tokens, variants, and states match one-to-one, with drift caught and resolved as part of normal release cadence.
Every system component meets WCAG AA, with accessibility criteria documented and verified before release, and the systems carry a visual and motion language that users notice and teams can reuse.
Product teams ship faster: fewer one-off components, shorter design-to-build cycles, and a clear contribution path that teams actually use.
Documentation and governance that scale beyond the design team: engineers, PMs, and AI agents can build correctly from the system without a designer in the loop.
Responsibilities
Own two design systems end to end, institutional and consumer: components, design tokens, theming, patterns, and the Figma libraries behind them, across web and mobile. Support the marketing team's design system as needed so brand practice stays consistent and design-to-code stays smooth.
Define the expressive layer of both systems: visual language, motion principles, and the interaction details that make institutional and consumer products feel considered and alive, not merely correct.
Design and ship the full stack of the system, from primitives and atoms through molecules and organisms to page templates, with polished interaction details and the visual hierarchy, typography, and layout rigor that trading and financial interfaces demand.
Partner closely with UI engineers so that tokens and components map cleanly to the production component library, and so Figma and code stay in sync.
Define how the system works on mobile: platform-appropriate interactions, responsive and adaptive behavior, and parity rules between web and native surfaces.
Hold the system to WCAG 2.2 AA: color contrast, focus and keyboard behavior, motion, and screen-reader semantics baked into components rather than bolted on.
Write clear, usable documentation (usage guidelines, do/don't examples, contribution guides) that designers, engineers, and AI agents can all work from.
Run governance across teams: contribution and review process, versioning and deprecation, adoption tracking, and the forums where product teams propose and resolve system changes.
Audit the system proactively to find gaps, inconsistencies, and drift across products, then prioritize and drive the fixes without waiting to be asked.
Use AI tooling as part of daily work: agents, markdown guideline files, and MCP integrations that connect the design system to design and engineering workflows.
Requirements
6+ years in product design, including 3+ years focused on design systems.
Experience building and scaling a shared design system across multiple products and platforms, web and mobile, including mobile-specific design systems and interactions.
Strong UI craft: visual hierarchy, typography, layout, and polished interaction details, with a point of view on motion and visual expression and the taste to know when restraint is the right call.
Builds scalable components and design tokens, including theming (for example light/dark modes or multi-brand).
A strong understanding of how components and tokens translate into front-end libraries: how components are built, composed, and consumed in code (for example React, React Native, or Swift/Kotlin component libraries), and how tokens flow from Figma into code.
Advanced Figma skills: variables and modes, auto layout, component properties, and library management at scale.
A track record of working closely with engineers as a day-to-day partner, not a handoff.
Strong accessibility knowledge and experience shipping WCAG AA compliant components.
Writes clear documentation and has run governance across teams: contribution models, review processes, and adoption.
Fluency with AI tooling in a design or engineering workflow: using agents, writing markdown guideline files, and working with MCP integrations.
Experience with design-to-code tooling such as Code Connect, token pipelines, or Storybook.
A systems thinker with sharp attention to detail who sees both the pattern and the pixel.
A portfolio that showcases design systems work: components, tokens, documentation, and the reasoning behind the decisions.
Nice to Have
Experience with crypto, onchain or tokenized-asset products.
Experience in fintech, exchanges, or trading platforms. Design systems for trading surfaces have their own nuances: dense data tables, real-time state changes, numeric typography, and color semantics for gains, losses, and risk.
Familiarity with crypto and digital-asset products, or with tokenized assets and markets.
Experience setting up motion and interaction standards within a system.
Working proficiency in Mandarin Chinese.
What we offer
Competitive compensation including but not limited to salary, future token rights, and/or equity (according to your preferences) — We are well-funded and believe that great talent deserves great compensation.
Full benefits (medical, vision, and dental) and flexible vacation policy (PTO).
Remote-first team across many countries — You will be an early team member helping shape our vision, culture, and design practices.
A+ colleagues — Our team includes alumni from: Goldman Sachs, Blackrock, Two Sigma, Bridgewater, SpaceX, AWS, Meta, Google, McKinsey, Circle, Uniswap.
Best-in-class investors — We are proud to be backed by leading crypto experts and VCs, including Pantera Capital, Founders Fund and Coinbase Ventures.

Webflow is the agentic web marketing platform for modern marketing teams, helping organizations build, manage, and optimize high-performing web experiences that drive predictable growth and strengthen brand trust. Building at Webflow will need grit, because we move fast, without ever sacrificing craft or quality.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager, Cloud Infrastructure to help make Webflow a trusted home for business-critical websites and a foundation for the next generation of AI-built and AI-operated sites. You’ll own the strategy and roadmap for a core area of our cloud infrastructure, spanning capabilities such as hosting, serverless and edge compute, and global delivery. Working closely with Engineering, Design, and Data, you’ll turn customer needs into measurable improvements in performance, reliability, security, and scale—helping businesses of every size run confidently on Webflow as the needs of marketing teams, developers, and AI agents evolve.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
- Location: Remote-first (Argentina)
- Permanent, full-time employee (this is not a contractor position)
- Application Information:
Application deadline: applications accepted on an ongoing basis until position is closed and filled
This posting is for an existing vacancy
- Reporting to the Director of Product.
As a Senior Product Manager, Cloud Infrastructure, you’ll:
- Own the strategy and roadmap for a core area of Webflow and Source infrastructure. Translate customer needs and company priorities into a clear plan across hosting, compute, global delivery, storage, or deployment. Partner with Engineering, Design, and Data to define outcomes, sequence investments, and deliver improvements customers can measure.
- Make performance and reliability measurable product commitments. Partner with Engineering to define SLOs, observability requirements, and incident practices. Prioritize improvements to caching, content freshness, logging, and platform visibility based on customer impact, and help ensure consistent service as both human-built and AI-generated sites scale.
- Make the path from code to production safe and predictable. Improve the deployment lifecycle, from shareable preview environments to promotion and rollback. Define requirements for deploy protection, release controls, and automation hooks so developers and enterprise teams can ship confidently within their governance requirements.
- Build shared capabilities that help product teams move faster. Work with teams across Webflow and Source to identify common infrastructure needs and turn them into reusable platform capabilities. Help prioritize framework and runtime support, scheduled functions, data access, and storage, with consistent experiences across Webflow Cloud, the API, and the CLI.
- Turn customer infrastructure needs into clear priorities. Work directly with Enterprise customers, agencies, and customer-facing teams to understand what blocks adoption and growth. Translate needs around performance, resiliency, compliance, secure connectivity, and regional availability into actionable requirements, with a clear view of competitive gaps and opportunities to differentiate.
- Balance customer value with platform economics. Partner with Engineering, Data, Finance, and Pricing to shape usage models, cost visibility, and pricing inputs for compute, storage, and hosting. Use adoption, consumption, and cost data to evaluate investments and help customers understand and manage their usage.
- Stay close to the work from discovery through launch. Write clear briefs, define success metrics, make scope decisions, and resolve tradeoffs throughout delivery. Prototype ideas, query product data, and contribute directly where useful to help the team learn faster and ship better products.
- Plan beyond the next release. Identify how changes in runtimes, edge infrastructure, and AI-driven development affect your product area. Turn those insights into grounded, multi-quarter proposals, validate assumptions early, and adapt the roadmap as customer needs and evidence evolve.
ABOUT YOU:
Requirements:
- BS / BA college degree or relevant experience
- Business-level fluency to read, write and speak in English
You’ll thrive as a Senior Product Manager, Cloud Infrastructure if you:
- Have shipped cloud infrastructure or developer platform products. You’ve owned a meaningful product area from customer discovery through launch and adoption. You understand hosting, compute, deployment, and storage well enough to make informed product decisions and engage engineers on tradeoffs involving performance, reliability, security, and cost.
- Treat reliability as part of the product. You’ve partnered with Engineering to establish SLOs, observability, and incident practices for a platform customers depend on. You translate operational issues into customer impact and make deliberate roadmap choices about reliability, technical debt, and new capabilities.
- Have built platforms other teams ship on. You treat internal teams as customers, uncover shared needs, and distinguish reusable platform capabilities from product-specific requirements. You balance immediate delivery needs with durable foundations and measure success through adoption, developer productivity, and customer outcomes.
- Make complex infrastructure approachable. You turn technical capabilities into clear workflows, useful defaults, and appropriate controls. You can serve developers who need flexibility and less technical customers, including marketers, who need to get something live with confidence.
- Understand how AI changes platform requirements. You’ve used code generation or agent tools hands-on and have a perspective on what they change about building, deploying, and operating software. You can turn emerging needs—such as rapid deployment cycles, bursty provisioning, and untrusted code—into concrete product priorities.
- Own outcomes from discovery through iteration. You combine customer research, product data, and technical context to identify problems worth solving. You write clear requirements, define success measures, make scope decisions, and stay close to execution and post-launch results.
- Lead cross-functional work with clarity and sound judgment. You bring Engineering, Design, GTM, and leadership together around a clear problem and plan. You make tradeoffs explicit, challenge assumptions constructively, and move decisions forward independently, knowing when to seek input or escalate.
- Stay curious and open to growth — demonstrating a proactive embrace of AI, and actively building and applying fluency in emerging technologies to elevate how we work, drive faster outcomes, and expand collective impact.

From Fivetran’s founding until now, our mission has remained the same: to make access to data as simple and reliable as electricity. With Fivetran, customer data arrives in their warehouses, canonical and ready to query, with no engineering or maintenance required. We’re proud that more organizations continue to leverage our technology every day to become truly data-driven.
About Us
Fivetran and dbt Labs are bringing together two industry-leading companies with a shared mission: helping organizations unlock the full value of their data.
Together, we’re delivering the data infrastructure layer that helps organizations move, transform, and trust their data — from the moment data moves, through every transformation, to the context teams and AI systems rely on.
Fivetran helps organizations automate data movement across the systems, clouds, engines, and tools they rely on. dbt Labs pioneered analytics engineering, helping teams transform data into reliable, governed insights. Together, we support thousands of organizations as they build a trusted foundation for analytics, AI, and better business decisions.
As we bring our teams and technology together, we’re building on the strengths of both companies while continuing to deliver the products and experiences our customers know and trust. It’s an exciting time to join us: we’re creating a company with the scale, talent, and technology to help more organizations put their data to work with greater speed, confidence, and impact.
During this transition period, you may see references to both Fivetran and dbt Labs throughout our recruiting process as we integrate our teams, systems, and career sites.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join
Cloud Signals
, the team behind the systems that measure, bill, and talk to our customers across the dbt platform and, more and more, the combined Fivetran + dbt product.
Cloud Signals owns:
Billing and usage metering:
turning product activity into accurate, auditable usage and billing data, and leading the integration of Fivetran and dbt billing into one consolidated system.
Vortex, our telemetry and event pipeline:
high-volume event ingestion that feeds the warehouse, product analytics, and downstream systems.
The Notification System:
the shared service that sends transactional and product notifications (email, in-app, Slack) for teams across the platform.
Usage and admin reporting:
giving customers clear visibility into consumption as we move toward consumption-based pricing.
These systems are on the critical path for revenue and customer trust. As a Staff engineer you’ll set technical direction across them, take on the hardest cross-team problems, and help raise the bar for engineering across the area.
Technologies You’ll Use
Python and TypeScript for backend services and APIs (Rust, Go, or Java experience also welcome)
Relational databases (PostgreSQL) and cloud data warehouses (Snowflake)
Event streaming and messaging systems (Kafka or similar) for high-throughput telemetry and usage pipelines
AWS (plus exposure to GCP or Azure), Docker, and Kubernetes
Terraform for infrastructure as code
Datadog for observability, alerting, and on-call
Third-party billing and payment platforms, plus internal and public REST APIs
AI coding assistants and agents (e.g., Claude Code) as part of everyday development
What You’ll Do
Own the technical direction for Cloud Signals’ systems: set architecture, write and socialize design docs, and turn ambiguous business goals (consolidated billing, consumption pricing, telemetry expansion) into clear, staged technical plans.
Lead the design and delivery of the Fivetran + dbt billing integration: data models, usage pipelines, reconciliation, and migration strategy, so that every customer is billed correctly and on time.
Evolve Vortex into a reliable, cost-efficient, scalable event platform: onboard new event types, cut operational dependencies and cost, and make sure data lands in the warehouse correctly and observably.
Grow the Notification System into a dependable shared service that other teams can adopt easily.
Work closely with Product, Finance, RevOps, Data, and partner engineering teams across both companies, often filling gaps in specs and prototyping to test ideas before you commit to a direction.

Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures and streaming or messaging systems (e.g., Kafka) at high volume
Strong knowledge of relational databases and data modeling, plus experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake
Proven ability to design, build, and consume APIs and integrate with third-party systems
Production experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS preferred), containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform)
A strong operational mindset: observability (Datadog or similar), SLOs, on-call, incident management, and leading systems through migrations without downtime
The ability to spot design flaws in existing systems and lead incremental improvements while still shipping
Excellent written and verbal communication: you write clear design docs, align stakeholders with different priorities, and explain technical trade-offs to non-technical partners
Fluency with AI code assistants and coding agents for building features, fixing bugs, testing, and investigation, and with conversational AI (Claude, ChatGPT, internal chatbots) for researching, writing, and reviewing SDLC artifacts like TDDs, PRDs, postmortems, test plans, and proposals
Bonus Skills
Experience with billing, metering, or usage-based pricing systems (e.g., Metronome, Stripe, or in-house rating and invoicing)
Experience building telemetry or analytics pipelines (e.g., Snowplow, Iceberg, lakehouse architectures)
Experience building notification or messaging platforms (email, in-app, webhooks) at scale

An overview of this role
We're looking for a strategic, data-driven owner for about.gitlab.com, the site where developers, platform teams and enterprise buyers first meet GitLab. You'll build a performance-based strategy for where the site goes next, align partners around it, and see it through: from the roadmap and experimentation program to the pages behind every major product launch and event.
You set direction and orchestrate the work; you don't need to build it yourself.
What You'll Do
Build a performance-based strategy and quarterly roadmap for about.gitlab.com, tied to pipeline and self-serve trial goals, and align Marketing leadership and partners around it.
Set the experimentation roadmap based on business goals and manage the optimization program, partnering with User Experience (UX) Design so design shapes what we test from the start.
Own launch page production for major product launches and events, from calendar and brief to launch readiness and post-launch cleanup, with UX Design, Product Marketing, Content and Marketing Engineering.
Set direction for information architecture and content governance, so a site with many contributors stays coherent, on brand and easy for search and artificial intelligence (AI) answer engines to understand.
Represent content contributors on the content management system (CMS) roadmap, and bring AI into their workflows with clear guardrails for human review.
Build a two-way partnership with localization content managers so learnings flow between the English and localized sites.
Define the site's success metrics (conversion on key paths, site-sourced pipeline, test velocity and win rate, on-time launches) and report progress to Marketing leadership.
What You'll Bring
Experience owning strategy for a high-traffic business-to-business software-as-a-service website, ideally one with many audiences and contributors.
A track record of setting an experimentation roadmap and running a program that delivered measurable conversion or pipeline lift.
Experience running website launches across design, content, product marketing and engineering teams.
Skill at turning analytics, research and A/B test results into clear priorities.
The ability to lead through influence: you build credibility with designers, engineers and marketers, and act as a partner, not a gatekeeper.
Technical fluency with modern websites and content management systems, enough to make tradeoffs with engineers. You don't need to write production code.
Curiosity about AI and experience using it to improve content or web workflows.
Clear, concise asynchronous writing and the ability to thrive in GitLab's all-remote, handbook-first culture.
Bonus points: experience marketing to developers, running localized sites, or working with technical search engine optimization (SEO) and answer engine optimization (AEO).
About the team
You'll lead through a dedicated team of specialists in UX design, technical SEO, AEO, marketing analytics, content, paid and campaigns, and partner with Marketing Engineering to ship.
If this role excites you but you don't meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply.

Raise operational excellence: define SLOs, improve alerting and runbooks, take part in on-call, and lead incident response and blameless postmortems for business-critical systems.

An overview of this role
As a Journey Architect on GitLab's Digital Customer Outcomes team, you'll design journeys that turn meaningful customer actions into retention, consumption and revenue outcomes. You'll own journey design and service blueprints for assigned customer cohorts, products or coverage models, leading cross-functional work from design through launch. Digital Orchestration builds and runs the journeys day to day; you'll remain accountable for their outcomes and ongoing improvement. You'll add design capacity to help priority journeys, including artificial intelligence (AI) and consumption journeys, launch in fiscal year 2028 (FY28).
What you’ll do
Design journeys backward from business outcomes to meaningful customer actions, audiences and engagement tactics. Map each cohort's intended path, timing, signals that customers need help and interventions to get them back on track.
Decide which steps are self-serve, AI-assisted or human-led, and define the handoffs between them. Design across in-product guidance, email, events and community, choosing the right channel for each moment.
Build service blueprints with Customer Experience (CX) Operations, documenting the people, systems, data, content and handoffs behind each touchpoint. Give every step a trigger, a response, an owner and a metric.
Write journey specifications covering steps, triggers, audiences, channels, content, handoffs and metrics. Set build plans, coordinate partner teams and clear dependencies to launch on time and to specification.
Specify the content and self-service resources each step needs, and work with content teams to create and govern them. Partner with Lifecycle Marketing on audience, sequencing and delivery so customers experience one coordinated journey.
Hand live journeys to Digital Orchestration to run, remain accountable for their outcomes and build in regular optimization cycles with the Digital Outcomes team's Data/Insights partner.
Measure journey coverage, step conversion, lift against comparison groups, meaningful actions, recovery after interventions, time to value and influence on retention. Track partner adoption of the shared journeys and blueprints.
Apply the framework and standards set by the Lead Journey Architect, and help improve them based on what your journeys teach the team.
What you’ll bring
Experience in customer journey design, service design or digital customer success.
A track record of turning journey designs into launched programs with measurable outcomes.
Hands-on experience building service blueprints and designing handoffs between digital and human teams.
Working knowledge of journey orchestration, in-app guidance and marketing automation platforms.
Comfort defining customer signals and success metrics, and interpreting funnel conversion and test results.
Experience leading cross-functional work through launch without direct authority.
Experience in business-to-business software as a service is helpful, as is domain knowledge of development and operations (DevOps) or development, security and operations (DevSecOps).
Please note that we welcome interest from candidates with varying levels of experience; many successful candidates do not meet every single requirement. Additionally, studies have shown that people from underrepresented groups are less likely to apply to a job unless they meet every single qualification. If you're excited about this role, please apply and allow our recruiters to assess your application.

You'll bring these partners together around shared journeys and blueprints so customer touchpoints line up rather than compete.

Reporting to the Vice President, Digital Customer Outcomes, you'll join as an individual contributor at L5 (Lead/Staff) or L6 (Principal), depending on your experience and scope. At L5, you'll lead journey design and builds for priority cohorts; at L6, you'll own the journey framework across all products, personas and coverage models with division-wide influence. team, you will help grow the Grafana plugin ecosystem. Plugins are how Grafana connects to almost any data source, panel type or app, and the catalog has more than 300 of them from Grafana Labs, commercial partners and the open source community.
We own the full plugin lifecycle. Developers build plugins with our tooling, publish them to the catalog, and users discover, install and update them in Grafana and Grafana Cloud. We are also building the
Grafana Marketplace
, which lets partners and independent developers sell their plugins to Grafana users. It is in pilot today and you will help us take it from there.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Some of the things we own:
The Grafana Marketplace: paid plugins, publisher onboarding, and how customers buy and get access to them
The plugin catalog in grafana.com and inside Grafana, where users search, compare and discover plugins
Plugin installation and management in Grafana and Grafana Cloud
Plugin delivery: publishing, signing, validation and the CDN that serves plugins to every Grafana Cloud instance
Plugin review: every plugin published to the catalog goes through our review process before it reaches users
Developer tooling and
developer portal
that helps develop the plugins
A typical “day in the life” could include:
Building new Marketplace features across the Grafana frontend, our Go services and grafana.com
Improving how users find and install plugins, for both humans and agents like Grafana Assistant
Making it easier and faster for developers to build, test and publish plugins
Automating and improving the review process that every published plugin goes through
Supporting the operations and reliability of plugin installs and delivery in Grafana Cloud
Talking to plugin developers and partners and turning their feedback into roadmap items
Coming up with suggestions for process improvements
Working closely with the rest of the Grafana Division
We invest heavily in developer productivity. You can use modern AI coding assistants as part of your daily workflow (your choice of tools, within security guidelines), backed by a company-funded usage budget so you can iterate quickly without unnecessary friction. We encourage pragmatic AI-assisted development: faster prototyping, test generation, refactors, documentation, and incident follow-ups—always with strong code review and quality standards. You'll also have access to the latest frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
You know how to transform ideas into working code, you are able to design a solution, get feedback and deliver large projects.
You are a self-driven individual who understands the power of feedback loops in making roadmap decisions and driving our product forward.
You are a motivated self starter with a bias towards action, and willing to take on any challenge
You are customer focused. We build everything with our users in mind. You have a passion for creating intuitive products that fit customers’ needs.
You are an excellent communicator and you enjoy collaboration
You are comfortable working in a remote-first company
Requirements:
Solid experience with Golang & Typescript
Experience with React and building user-facing web applications
Experience with Kubernetes & microservices
Experience writing clean, robust, and performant software that is easily maintained by others
Experience participating in an on-call rotation and performing operations/SRE tasks
Bonus Points For:
You have built or published a Grafana plugin
You have worked on a marketplace, app store or package registry, or on billing and licensing
You have built developer tooling such as CLIs, SDKs or CI pipelines used by other engineers
You have strong experience working with a Product Manager or external stakeholders

Product Manager II, Business Systems
At WHOOP, we're on a mission to unlock human performance and healthspan. WHOOP empowers users to perform at a higher level through a deeper understanding of their bodies and daily lives.
WHOOP is seeking a Product Manager to guide the prioritization, internal alignment, and delivery of needle-moving business systems capabilities. This role will partner closely with Engineers, Systems Analysts, Analytics Engineers, and leaders across WHOOP. In support of the Business Systems team’s goals, you will be expected to own key business KPIs, make excellent prioritization and tradeoff decisions, and deliver new capabilities that help us scale and serve our members.
WHOOP is a complex business. We make a physical product and sell it through many channels around the world. Business Systems is responsible for enabling all facets of our operations: order fulfillment, shipping, and returns; materials planning, supply chain, manufacturing, and inventory management; and membership services.
You will be accountable for improving our business processes in ways that meet our members’ expectations and improve operational efficiency and simplicity, all while ensuring that our data is reliable and accurate. You’ll also be accountable for using AI to create leverage for yourself and your team. This is not a job where you’ll write PRDs like it’s 2015; you’ll be expected to build prototypes, create demo environments, and stay close to the leading edge of technology.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drive research, development, and delivery of new capabilities and process improvements across 3rd party and custom-built software.
- Bring your strong opinions and good taste to set a strategy, roadmap, and measurable goals for your area and team. Write high quality documents to support the product life cycle.
- Be hands-on and use AI tools daily to create prototypes and proofs of concept.
- Take ownership of key company metrics related to how good our processes are working for members, how we’re improving operational efficiency, and how reliable our services are.
- Own and optimize systems that cut across all parts of our business as noted above.
- Collaborate with Engineers and Analysts to break down and prioritize member and employee needs, and define detailed systems & process designs.
- Collect and analyze internal and external customer needs and feedback through rigorous research and testing methodologies.
- Develop and manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure smooth operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proven experience (3+ years) in Product Management with a clear record of successful delivery and impact collaborating with an engineering team.
- Deep analytical, prioritization, and problem-solving skills. Previous experience in analytics is strongly preferred.
- Track record of good judgment around what to focus on and how to shape the deliverable.
- Experience with SQL/Amplitude/Sigma for data analysis is a plus (and will be required to learn on the job).
- Experience working with physical product logistics, e-commerce and/or subscription companies, ideally for a company with an international presence and in coordination with finance partners.
- Experience designing and driving commerce business processes that integrate with platforms like Netsuite and Salesforce.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize requests from assertive cross-functional leaders and build consensus around a sequenced roadmap.
- Strong written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate hypotheses, learnings, analysis, problems, and opportunities.
- An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
- Curious, positive attitude, and passionate about improving the experience of our members.
This role is based full-time in-office at WHOOP HQ in Boston, MA. All candidates must be prepared to be onsite full-time.
Interested in the role, but don’t meet every qualification? We encourage you to still apply! At WHOOP, we believe there is much more to a candidate than what is written on paper, and we value character as much as experience. As we continue to build a diverse and inclusive environment, we encourage anyone who is interested in this role to apply.
WHOOP is an Equal Opportunity Employer and participates in E-verify https://www.e-verify.gov/ to determine employment eligibility.
The WHOOP compensation philosophy is designed to attract, motivate, and retain exceptional talent by offering competitive base salaries, meaningful equity, and consistent pay practices that reflect our mission and core values.
At WHOOP, we view total compensation as the combination of base salary, equity, and benefits, with equity serving as a key differentiator that aligns our employees with the long-term success of the company and allows every member of our corporate team to own part of WHOOP and share in the company’s long-term growth and success.
The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $125,000.00-$175,000.00. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within each range, individual pay is based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, performance, and relevant education or training.
In addition to the base salary, the successful candidate will also receive benefits and a generous equity package.
These ranges may be modified in the future to reflect evolving market conditions and organizational needs. While most offers will typically fall toward the starting point of the range, total compensation will depend on the candidate’s specific qualifications, expertise, and alignment with the role’s requirements.
