Lithic is a modern card issuing and processing platform serving over 100 clients including fintechs and platforms for disbursements and spend management. The company is hiring a Senior Software Engineer for the Product Platform team responsible for the foundational API layer used by all Lithic products. The team focuses on API Gateway, Events Platform, API key management and authorization, audit logging, and API norms and versioning strategy.
Задачи:
— Write reliable, secure, and scalable code for Lithic's product platform with minimal technical debt
— Improve system reliability within the team's scope and participate in on-call rotation
— Own projects from planning to launch, including API key management, reliability, audit logging, and search, keeping stakeholders informed
— Lead efforts to improve systems and processes within the team
Требования:
— 4+ years of experience building production backend systems, ideally including public-facing APIs at scale
— Experience or desire to learn Rust; ability to understand systems written in Python and Java
— Interest and experience in leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity
— Ability to navigate ambiguity, align diverse perspectives, and drive practical solutions
— Experience with API design fundamentals and product thinking including versioning, backward compatibility, schema-driven development, and customer perspective tradeoffs
— Comfort designing systems from scratch and owning end-to-end product development
— Strong written communication skills and experience working in a remote, asynchronous team across time zones

— Annual salary range $160,000 to $200,000 plus equity, adjusted by experience during interview
