Category Labs (formerly known as Monad Labs) is a team of systems engineers and researchers on a mission to design and build at the frontier of decentralized technology. We strive to deliver significant improvements over existing blockchain solutions. After raising $225M in series A funding, led by Paradigm, we are growing our team.
We’re the team behind Monad, a high-performance, EVM-compatible Layer 1 whose public mainnet is now live. We write the core software that runs it: a parallel-execution EVM https://github.com/category-labs/monad, a custom state database, and a BFT consensus client https://github.com/category-labs/monad-bft, all developed in the open.
THE ROLE
We are looking for an exceptional compiler engineer to work on challenging greenfield projects that accelerate bytecode execution. For example, you will you will work on a bytecode execution graph builder which will enable speculative pre-execution of potential control flow paths. Your work will require intensive research and engineering and will help accelerate a platform securing billions of dollars in value. Experience with crypto is not expected.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Work on greenfield performance-oriented projects in a fast-moving startup environment
- Research ideas for accelerating EVM bytecode execution
- Design and implement performant production systems
WHO YOU ARE
- Proven track record in compiler design and system architecture
- Strong background in software engineering principles principles
- Experience with industry-standard compiler technologies
- Good understanding of testing and benchmarking
- Industry and/or academic experience working on compilers for parallel architectures
- Strong C++ programming skills
- Knowledge of type theory is a plus
WHY WORK WITH US
- Challenging problems: You’ll work on extremely challenging problems with massive impact. See our Blogs https://www.category.xyz/blogs and Publications & Talks https://www.category.xyz/papers-talks for a flavor of the problems we are solving in the real world.
- Huge opportunity: The Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) standard is ubiquitous, but existing EVM-compatible chains are very slow. Monad’s core innovations offer developers the best of both worlds (portability and performance) and are a game-changer for mass user adoption in crypto.
- The right team: You’ll be part of a small, exceptional team (engineers and researchers make up 90% of the team).
- Open by default: Our core software is public on GitHub. You’ll build in the open, and your work ships where the whole ecosystem can see it.
- Culture: We’re a lean team working together to achieve very ambitious goals. We are united in our culture of collaboration, low ego, and high-quality output. As an early member of our team, you’ll help to shape our culture.
- Compensation: You’ll receive a competitive salary and equity package.
- Resources and growth: We’re well-capitalized, with backing https://x.com/monad_xyz/status/1777687376136982767 from leading venture funds like Paradigm, Electric Capital, Greenoaks, Dragonfly, and Coinbase Ventures. We keep a lean team, and this is a rare opportunity to join. You’ll learn a lot and grow as our company scales.
HOW WE USE AI
We’re an AI-native team, and we expect engineers to use coding agents and keep up as the tooling evolves. A few things we believe:
- AI is leverage, not a crutch. Review what it generates with the same scrutiny you’d give a teammate’s PR, and own every line you ship.
- Judgment is what matters, not how long you typed by hand. We won’t ask for “N years of [tool].” The stack turns over every few months, so what matters is that you pick up new tools fast and know where and when they apply.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
The base salary range for this role is $180,000 – $250,000. This reflects the minimum and maximum range across US locations. It does not include benefits, token, or equity incentives. In 2017, Belkins started as an appointment-setting agency with just one service offering. Fast-forward to today, and we've transformed into Belkins Group — a vibrant ecosystem of services and products that define the cutting-edge landscape of the SalesTech and MarTech industries. For seven years running, we’ve been the top appointment-setting agency, achieving amazing results across 50+ industries worldwide.
Our results speak for themselves: with over 1,000 clients and a global portfolio, we’ve set up more than 200,000 appointments, delivering a $10 return for every $1 spent. We’re experts in B2B appointment setting, providing essential services for companies ready to take their growth to the next level. By diving deep into lead research and using customized, omnichannel strategies, we turn opportunities into real success.
Joining Belkins means signing up for a journey of unstoppable growth and success, driven by curiosity, dedication, and a commitment to excellence.
We are looking for a results-driven Sales Development Representative to join one of our delivery units. Each unit is built around an Account Strategist who owns client strategy, supported by a Delivery Lead, Content Strategist, Researcher, and Email Deliverability Specialist. This organizational framework provides SDRs with technical assistance, yet you will remain fully responsible for managing campaigns, verifying setups, HubSpot reporting, and daily outreach. We’ve designed this to eliminate manual friction, such as lead research, so you can focus on calls, reply handling, and securing booked appointments.
You will work across multiple client projects simultaneously, running high-volume cold calling via a power dialer and personally managing all replies from automated email and LinkedIn campaigns.
Things You’ll Be Doing:
Cold Calling
Running outbound calling campaigns through a power dialer (
Koncert
) across
multiple (3-6) client projects simultaneously
- not one account, several, at once.
Handling objections live, on the call, and steering each conversation toward a booked appointment, not just working through a script.
Tracking connect rate and call-to-meeting conversion, flagging performance issues to your Account Strategist before they become a pattern, not after.
Reply Handling — Email & LinkedIn
Personally owning
every reply
that comes in from automated email
(Reply.io / Inbox AI)
and LinkedIn
(Expandi)
campaigns, not just monitoring the inbox.
Responding within
4–8 working hours
and nurturing prospects until they're ready to book.
Handling objections in writing, pushing for a next step, and converting replies into confirmed meetings.
Scheduling appointments and sharing meeting details with the team via Slack.
Campaign Oversight & Reporting
Monitoring key metrics across every project - connect rate, reply rate, conversion rate - as your own numbers, not someone else's dashboard.
Feeding structured feedback to Research, Content, and EDS so lead quality and messaging actually improve, not just flagging that something isn't working.
Keeping CRM hygiene tight in
HubSpot
and sharing a weekly recap your Account Strategist can actually use.
What You Bring:
2+ years of outbound sales experience with a strong cold-calling background
.
Confident, error-free written English
for handling email and LinkedIn replies - this is half the role, not an afterthought.
Fluent spoken English,
comfortable working across
US and European time zones
.
Strong understanding of outreach tools:
You’re comfortable working with CRM and automation platforms and understand the key technical elements behind cold outreach. You can support campaign setup, identify potential issues, and work with the right teams to resolve technical blockers.
The ability to run
multiple client projects in parallel
without losing quality or pace on any one of them.
Self-starting:
there are no fixed hours here, and the work doesn't get done unless you make it happen.
How We Hire:
Recruiter Interview
(~30 minutes) — with Yuliia or Inna.
Practical Task
(~60–90 minutes) — a written exercise covering outbound thinking, objection handling, and lead prioritization.
Hiring Manager Interview
(~45–60 minutes) — a conversation with the SDR Enablement Manager covering the details of your work, performance analytics, and a live cold-call roleplay.
Final Interview
(~60 minutes) — with the Managing Director and HR Business Partner to assess company fit and explore your values and working style.
Offer & Onboarding
— if it's a yes, we move fast.
*We may use AI tools to support parts of the hiring process. Final decisions are made by humans. Contact us for information on data processing.
At Belkins, we care deeply about our team members, and we prove it through:
Competitive Pay: Your dedication deserves more than recognition; it deserves compensation that matches your expertise.
Remote-First Flexibility: We’ve transitioned to a fully remote environment so you can work where you're most productive. Our flexible hours help you stay agile and focused.
Professional Growth: We’re a launchpad for your career. Through regular feedback, 1:1s, internal mobility, and knowledge-sharing, your growth is enabled and celebrated. We also maintain an internal wiki for insights and a library of the latest business books to keep you sharp.
Well-being focus: Your mental health is a priority. We offer mental health lectures and support for your overall well-being.
Recharge Time: We prioritize your rest with 20 paid vacation days, parental leave, fully covered sick days, and unlimited days off for unexpected needs.
Global Sync: We align with U.S. holidays to keep our global teams in sync.
Memorable Team Experiences: Work hard, play hard — even from a distance. Our online team-building events and all-hands gatherings bring humor, memes, and a lively atmosphere that makes teamwork genuinely fun.

About Niantic Spatial
AI has learned from almost everything online, but it still struggles with the physical world, where 99.5% of economic activity happens. It doesn’t know where things are, how spaces fit together, or what changes over time.
That’s one of the biggest unsolved problems in AI, and it’s the one we’re solving at Niantic Spatial. We build spatial AI models and services so people and machines can reason, learn and act safely in the physical world. We turn camera imagery, video, sensor data and archives into accurate, AI-readable representations of real places that robots can train in and machines can use to know exactly where they are.
In physical AI, mistakes have real consequences. That’s why we build AI grounded in measured reality, not guesswork, so the people and machines relying on it can trust it to get things right.
Our team built some of the world’s most widely used maps. Now we’re building something bigger: a living, measured record of the real world that machines can query, learn from and use to understand how places change over time. If you want to help AI understand the world we actually live in, come build with us.
About the Role
As a Solutions Architect at Niantic Spatial, you’ll own technical solutioning from early customer discovery through commercial structuring and delivery. This role serves as the primary technical partner to Business Development, Sales, and strategic customers. We welcome candidates from backgrounds in Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering, Technical Consulting, Solution Architecture, or technical pre-sales roles. As the primary technical counterpart for strategic commercial customers, you’ll lead discovery and align development to reusable, platform-aligned capabilities rather than one-off builds — translating operational needs into architectures that integrate cleanly into existing enterprise systems, field workflows, and robotic platforms.
You’ll partner closely with Product Management so customer requirements shape the roadmap, and you’ll be central to developing, closing, and implementing new business across priority verticals — with a focus on Energy and Industrial — leveraging Niantic Spatial solutions such as Intelligent Field Operations, Reconstruction, Semantics, and Robotics.
What You’ll Do
Customer architecture & technical leadership
- Own the technical relationship and technical success for assigned commercial and strategic accounts from discovery through implementation, with priority focus on Energy customers leveraging Intelligent Field Operations and Semantics.
- Design end-to-end solution architectures (logical and physical) covering deployment, scaling, reliability, safety, and security across cloud, edge, and device environments.
- Lead technical workshops to capture operational objectives, requirements, and success criteria, and translate them into implementation-ready designs tailored to field environments.
Solution development & commercial proposal support
- Provide technical inputs to customer proposals, pilots, statements of work (SOWs), and commercial agreements.
- Lead technical solution documentation — architecture diagrams, integration approaches, deployment models, security considerations, and implementation plans.
- Partner with Sales/BD on technical differentiators, value narratives, demonstrations, and scoping assumptions aligned to customer ROI and operational impact.
Integration into enterprise & operational ecosystems
- Ensure solutions integrate into customer environments — identity systems, data platforms, GIS/geo services, robotics stacks, enterprise integration patterns, observability, and device constraints.
- Define integration patterns, APIs, and data flows across cloud, edge, and on-device systems; document operational runbooks and deployment/upgrade strategies suited to distributed field operations.
Product feedback loop
- Communicate customer needs, gaps, and technical requirements to Product Management and Engineering, influencing roadmap and prioritization with structured feedback from engagements, pilots, and deployments.
- Provide structured input on emerging use cases across Intelligent Field Operations, Semantics, and Robotics.
Delivery partnership
- Collaborate with delivery teams and partners to ensure architectures are implemented as designed; support escalations, performance optimization, field validation, and post-launch adoption.
- Support pilots and early deployments, ensuring measurable operational outcomes and scalable production transitions.
- Maintain a set of repeatable demos for commercial prospects; use demo feedback to inform proposals and the product roadmap.
What You’ll Bring
- 8+ years in Solutions Architecture, Solutions Engineering, Customer Engineering or Systems Engineering, or related customer-facing technical roles supporting enterprise or industrial customers.
- Demonstrated experience developing solution architectures and contributing to commercial proposals, pilots, or customer-facing technical documentation.
- Strong architecture fundamentals across cloud and hybrid deployments, edge computing, networking, identity, security controls, and operational monitoring; enterprise integration (APIs, data pipelines, event-driven systems); and edge/device-constrained, distributed systems operating in real-world field conditions.
- Experience supporting customers in at least one of: Intelligent Field Operations (utilities, energy, telecom, logistics, asset inspection, industrial automation); robotics platforms (mobile robots, drones, autonomy stacks, perception/localization); or geospatial, mapping/GIS, spatial computing, or AI-driven perception systems.
- Ability to translate operational needs into implementable architectures and explain tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent written communication, with the ability to produce high-quality technical documentation and customer-facing materials.
Nice to Have
- Experience selling into Energy verticals, and Oil & Gas specifically.
- Experience with robotics software stacks (e.g., ROS/ROS2), autonomy systems, SLAM/localization, or sensor fusion.
- Experience deploying AI/ML or perception systems in real-world operational environments.
- Familiarity with safety, reliability, and operational constraints in industrial or field-based systems.
- Prior experience partnering with Product Management to turn customer requirements into roadmap outcomes.
Compensation & Benefits
$171,000 - $215,000 · annual bonus · equity · comprehensive benefits
Location & Work Model
San Francisco Bay Area or Houston, TX (remote). If in San Francisco: Hybrid — at least 3 days per week in office.
Inclusive Application
We know the strongest candidates don’t always tick every box. If you’re excited about this role and believe you could do it well, we encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn’t match every qualification listed — you may be exactly who we’re looking for.

Drive model efficiency and deployability, adapting models for resource-constrained environments using compression and optimization techniques.
Design and implement evaluation frameworks and benchmarks to measure model performance, robustness, and real-world task success.
Build and scale training workflows across distributed GPU infrastructure.
Identify and resolve bottlenecks in training pipelines to achieve state-of-the-art model quality on target benchmarks.
