Proven track record of translating AI capabilities into measurable business outcomes
End-to-end delivery experience with autonomous AI Agent products, from inception and architecture through to production operations
Hands-on experience integrating AI deeply into engineering and development workflows — such as AI coding assistants, automated code review, or developer productivity tooling
Proficiency in Mandarin and English is required to collaborate across our multilingual, cross-regional teams
Nice to have
Background at an AI-native startup or frontier AI lab, with familiarity with fast-cycle product iteration
AI publications, patents, or industry-recognized technical contributions
Familiarity with the unique technical challenges of applying AI in crypto, fintech, or high-frequency data environments

At Hasbro and Wizards of the Coast, you’ll collaborate with passionate teams to reimagine our iconic brands and create experiences that spark joy, connection, and community through the magic of play. This is your chance to shape legendary play that lasts a lifetime.
Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer II to join our Digital Innovations team and help bring our most beloved brands to digital channels. In this role, you will own user-facing features end-to-end across frontend, GraphQL/APIs, services, and data, improving performance, reliability, security, and accessibility. You’ll lead technical design and delivery for complex cross-stack initiatives, partnering with Product, UX, and Engineering to align on tradeoffs and execution, in a collaborative environment where mentoring and shared learning are part of everyday work. As a senior technical leader, you’ll set the bar through hands-on building and reviews, drive consistent client/server architecture patterns, and mentor a team of engineers.
Location and Work Arrangement
This role is based at our Renton, Washington office and follows a hybrid schedule designed to support in-person collaboration. Employees are expected to work onsite on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, with the flexibility to work remotely or onsite on Mondays and Fridays.
What You'll Do
Lead cross-functional initiatives (Product + Design + Engineering) delivering user-facing features end-to-end
Define frontend standards for Vue 3/React with TypeScript, including component and build system APIs. Promote state and GraphQL data patterns, performance budgets, and accessibility aligned with WCAG.
Design and evolve GraphQL schemas and APIs that match product workflows.
Build and ship backend changes in C#/.NET and/or Node.js, and make data model changes in Postgres/MongoDB driven by real usage and frontend needs.
Mentor a team of engineers via pairing and code/design reviews to drive adoption of domain standards.
Participate in on-call and incident response for your domain; drive root-cause fixes and embed security-by-default in features and APIs.
Guide engineers in using AI agents effectively: model effective agent workflows for software development, share patterns for instructing and validating agents, and help fellow engineers get up to speed.
What You'll Bring
7+ years building and shipping web products across frontend and backend.
Strong frontend experience with Vue 3 and/or React + TypeScript, including large-codebase maintainability and accessible UI development (WCAG-aligned).
Experience defining or evolving state management, component architecture, and design systems.
Backend and data experience designing GraphQL/REST APIs and implementing services in C#/.NET and/or Node.js, with Postgres/SQL + MongoDB.
Experience operating production services in AWS (deployments, debugging, scaling/observability basics).
Proven track record to lead cross-team execution through clear design docs, technical discussions, partner alignment, and mentoring.
Hands-on experience using AI agents for production delivery including validating and correcting AI-generated code.
What Sets You Apart
Event-driven patterns (queues/pub-sub).
Prior experience breaking down monolithic framework architectures, built using .NET and C#, into smaller distributed services.
Experience working with both relational (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres) and non-relational databases (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB).
Curiosity about or knowledge of Wizards brands (e.g., Magic: The Gathering).
Who We Are
We’re a team of creators, storytellers, and innovators united under the Hasbro family and home to beloved brands, AAA digital games studios and immersive experiences that spark imagination across generations. Together, we’re committed to a culture rooted in creativity, excellence, curiosity, and inclusion, and where every employee is empowered to think boldly, act with integrity, and spark joy for all.

How we work with AI
We are committed to leveraging cutting-edge technology—including AI—to achieve our mission. We also understand that thinking critically about AI in its current forms will help us create better solutions for our customers and ourselves with its future forms, which will help us continue to close the gap between security and privacy and achieve our mission. We want team members at all levels to take the approach of actively learning AI best practices, identifying opportunities to apply AI in meaningful ways, and driving innovative solutions in their daily work. Embracing the future of AI isn't just encouraged—it's an essential part of how we will be successful at 1Password.
This approach extends to our hiring process—candidates are welcome to use AI tools responsibly and thoughtfully during the application process. To us, this means we do ask that you join live interviews without using AI tools so we can get to know how you communicate, solve problems, and collaborate with others.
Our approach to work
We recognize the power of both in person collaboration and remote work. Some roles are designated as remote-first, with an expectation that individuals work from their homes majority of the time, while others are designated as in-office roles, with an expectation of being on-site on a regular basis. We recognize that certain roles benefit from regular, in-person connection to support collaboration, team cohesion, and customer engagement.
For all roles, occasional travel may be required. This includes things like: department-wide offsites, quarterly department meetings and periodic customer events. These events are typically held in varying locations across Canada, USA and/or EMEA. In leadership roles, you can expect to travel once per month on average.
