WHO ARE WE?
Cohere is the leading security-first enterprise AI company. We build cutting-edge foundation AI models and end-to-end products that are designed to solve real-world business problems.
We’re training and deploying frontier models for enterprises who are building AI systems. We believe that our work is instrumental to the widespread adoption of AI and we are looking for folks that want to be part of that.
We obsess over what we build. Each one of us is responsible for contributing to increasing the capabilities of our models and the value they drive for our customers. Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more, who are all passionate about their craft.
We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us!
WHY THE COHERE TPM ROLE?
As our Generative Machine Learning organization has continued growing, we are looking for more Technical Program Managers to join the team!
At Cohere, TPMs are pivotal to our success, being seen as operational experts specializing in cross-functional efforts. Great TPMs at Cohere are well-rounded, executing with precision at the tactical level, while partnering with senior leaders and shaping the big picture at a strategic level, and the opportunities are endless in growing the scale and impact of their work. Cohere’s TPMs would often be described as organized, execution-oriented, pragmatic leaders who are adaptable to the needs of the company and the programs they lead.
As a reward for the depth and breadth of expertize that you bring to the table, you will get to work alongside some of the most talented AI researchers and industry experts in the world on building cutting edge AI technology. No day will be the same as the one before, and the dynamic high growth environment will be absolutely perfect for anyone excited about solving novel problems, bringing structure to oftentimes chaotic and fast-paced environments, and ambitious about scaling their own impact and growth alongside the company!
Please note: While we are remote-first and accept candidates from all over the world, we are highly prioritizing hiring for people who are within 1-2 hours of British Standard Time (BST).
AS A MACHINE LEARNING TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER, YOU WILL:
- Establish, improve, and scale foundational processes that allow the Generative Modeling teams to execute better, faster, and more predictably
- Scale the operational capacity and effectiveness of the Modeling TPM team in collaboration with the Modeling TPM lead to ensure the function can remain lean and effective during a period of the program portfolio complexity and size continuing to rapidly increase
- Flexibly adapt to the needs of the company, programs, and the team from tackling long-horizon programs that can span quarters or even years to jumping onto often highly ambiguous short-term challenges that can have company-wide impact
- Partner directly with leaders within and outside of the Modeling organization on efforts to design, train and improve our core generative models
- Lead cross-functional, oftentimes company-wide programs and strategic initiatives, collaborating and coordinating with cross-functional teams such as Product, Engineering, Legal, Platform, Infra, Policy, and Finance
- Operate as an organizational expert in improving engineering execution rigor and operations on the ground, while contributing to the strategic layer in areas such as long-term strategic planning with senior modeling leadership
- Map out dependencies and risks, and ensure that cross-functional execution across the program runs smoothly, communicating status with non-technical and technical stakeholders and senior management
- Both own and enable a useful communication flow of priorities, ideas, and knowledge throughout and beyond the Modeling organization in line with your programs
- Respond quickly to program-level changes, clarifying new scope, and managing resource needs in response to evolving priorities
YOU MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE:
- 5-10 years as a Technical Program Manager AND 5+ years of experience working directly on AI/ML. Strong preference for candidates that have worked directly in building foundation models.
- In-depth knowledge of machine learning, particularly when it comes to Natural Language Processing & Large Language Models (LLMs). Bonus points for experience with Multimodal AI.
- Experience with working in a chaotic, fast paced, low structure environment. We need someone who is pragmatic, can roll up their sleeves when needed, and can function at the tactical and strategic level to do whatever it takes to make Cohere’s models succeed
- Personal hands-on understanding of the unique challenges of managing projects and programs in the AI/ML development space as opposed to traditional software program management
- Managed projects & programs requiring a strong general business acumen, such as coordinating with Finance on reporting needs or Policy on regulatory compliance matters — the broader your experience beyond ML technical program management, the better!
- (optional, but preferred) Have technical experience in a hands-on capacity. We don’t necessarily need someone with hands on experience training models, but you need to feel comfortable sitting in the same rooms with some of the best researchers in the world, working on highly complex, cutting edge ML problems
If some of the above - other than the ML TPM experience - doesn’t line up perfectly with your experience, we still encourage you to apply! If you consider yourself a thoughtful worker, a lifelong learner, and a kind and playful team member, Cohere is the place for you.
We welcome applicants of all kinds and are committed to providing both an equal opportunity process and work environment. We value and celebrate diversity and strive to create an inclusive work environment for all.

We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us!
Why this role?
You'll own the full sales cycle—prospecting to close—for enterprise and Global 2000 organisations across the UK and Benelux in financial services, telecommunications, energy and utilities, manufacturing, healthcare and life sciences, and enterprise software. Sovereignty and control over where data and models reside are growing priorities across these sectors, and Cohere is well positioned to meet that need with private, on-premise and in-country deployment built for enterprise scale.
This is a territory with significant scope to build. You'll shape how we cover Benelux, work closely with our partner ecosystem to extend reach, and take Cohere deeper into UK and Northern European enterprise. Pipeline generation sits with you. This is a hunter role for someone who takes pride in building their own book rather than working leads handed to them.
This is a highly autonomous role demanding ownership of multi-million-dollar territories. You'll navigate intricate decision-making processes, educate C-suite stakeholders, and position Cohere as a strategic AI partner. Your insights will directly shape our product evolution, helping us prioritise features that drive enterprise adoption.
As a Sr. Account Executive, you will:
- Drive net-new customer acquisition across the UK and Benelux via targeted outbound activity, executive introductions, and relationship building with key stakeholders
- Support coverage of adjacent Northern European accounts as territory priorities require
- Generate and own your own pipeline through disciplined outbound, research and executive prospecting
- Be a trusted advisor to customer prospects, deeply understand their challenges & goals, and tailor solutions to drive impact for their businesses
- Position Cohere's private, on-premise and in-country deployment options against the data residency, sovereignty and regulatory requirements of UK and European enterprise buyers, including the EU AI Act
- Leverage senior-level relationships with executives to drive strategic partnerships and sales opportunities
- Align closely with our partners and systems integrators to drive shared revenue and extend reach into target accounts
- Work cross-functionally across the business, drawing in the right technical and specialist colleagues as each engagement requires
- Collaborate with Cohere's Product and Engineering teams on strategic motions to deliver solutions to large enterprise customers
- Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives and Marketing to supplement your own top of funnel activity
- Own the full sales cycle – from initial outreach, technical and business validation, through deal close
You may be a good fit if you have:
- Fluent English; Dutch is an advantage
- 10+ years of B2B enterprise sales experience with Global 2000 and large enterprise customers along with experience negotiating & closing transformational 7-figure deals
- Depth in at least two of our priority sectors: financial services, telecommunications, energy and utilities, manufacturing, healthcare and life sciences, enterprise software
- A hunter mentality - you take pride in generating your own pipeline and are at your best when building a territory rather than managing an inherited one
- A proven track record of high performance and exceeding quotas
- Fluency with MEDDPICC - you qualify rigorously, can speak to metrics, economic buyer, decision criteria and process, champion and competition on any deal in your book, and keep that detail current in CRM so the forecast holds up to scrutiny
- Experience building and maintaining senior-level relationships with executives
- Experience selling complex enterprise level solutions, technical products, and private or on-premise deployments (AI/NLP solutions preferred)
- Familiarity with UK and European data residency, sovereignty and regulatory requirements as live buying criteria
- Experience working alongside channel partners and systems integrators to drive sales cycles and hit shared revenue goals
- High tolerance for ambiguity - you'll need to be both a doer and a strategist, comfortable building your own approach rather than working to a pre-set one
- Highly organized - this is a high activity role involving multiple team members and you are responsible for keeping everyone on track
- Creativity - deal structures can widely vary, strong technical acumen and the ability to creatively structure mutually beneficial partnerships are necessary
- Excellent communication skills - you are a great listener, have a knack for understanding what matters most to others & building strong relationships, experienced presenting to a C-suite audience, and feel comfortable speaking to both technical and non-technical customer prospects
- Willingness to travel across the UK, Benelux and elsewhere in Northern Europe as required
- Existing right to work in the UK

You’ll be the voice of the field and help our product and engineering teams prioritize the Cohere roadmap with customer-centric care. It’s a highly self-directed role, so you should be someone who thrives in an unstructured and quickly evolving environment. And your opportunity for impact will be astronomical — Cohere has skies-the-limit potential, and you’ll help us reach it.
As an Account Executive you will:
- Focus on net-new logo acquisition via outbound activity and relationship building with key stakeholders while also bringing a strong network of key decision-maker and influencer contacts to drive strategic partnerships and win sales opportunities
- Work closely with customers and prospects as a consultative, trusted advisor who deeply understands their challenges and goals, their technology ecosystem, and will tailor solutions to drive measurable impact for their businesses
- Work in close partnership with channel partners to find opportunities to scale outreach and customer satisfaction in your region
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams as well as customer success on strategic motions to deliver solutions to large enterprise customers
- Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives to drive top of funnel activity
- Own the full sales cycle – from initial outreach through proof-of-concept, deal close, and deployment ; this is not a transactional sale that you can walk away from after the contract is signed but rather requires ongoing oversight of the project to ensure success
You may be a good fit if you have:
- 8-12+ years of previous B2B sales experience with Global 2000 and large enterprises negotiating and closing transformational multi-year (2-5 year) SaaS deals in the 7 figure range, and a track record of high performance and exceeding quota
- Previous experience as a technical consultative salesperson, selling complex products, such as developer tools, API products, or AI / NLP solutions, are a plus.
- Previous experience working with customers during the deployment phase of the engagement, aligning on how best to configure and customize the solution that supports success in production and builds trust to set up for expansion and growth
- Previous experience working with channel partners such as cloud hyperscalers and system integrators to drive sales cycles and hit shared revenue goals
- High tolerance for ambiguity - as an early sales hire, you’ll have to be a self-starter, doer and a strategist who is capable of wearing many hats and doing what it takes to figure out a path to success
- Curiosity - you want to go deep on NLP and become an expert on our technology while considering how to fit into a large organization’s technology landscape
- Fantastic communication skills - you are a great listener, have a knack for understanding what matters most to others, build strong relationships, can speak to the c-suite, and feel comfortable speaking to both technical and non-technical audiences
Additional Requirements:
- Deep understanding of the enterprise landscape, including key trends, challenges, and opportunities
- Ability to articulate the value of AI and NLP solutions in the context of Fortune 2000 operations.

- Partner with Marketing to create content for company accounts
- Stand up the production function including stage capture systems, content atomization workflows, and freelance crew networks
- Build AI-enabled workflows using Cohere's own products (Command, North, Embed, Rerank) for transcript-to-asset pipelines, executive prep automation, and narrative consistency
- Initiate executive stage content capture and distribution at major events with lean, scalable production
- Conduct executive content audits and gap analyses across senior voices
- Refine and systematize content production workflows with predictable cadences
- Develop flagship thought leadership pieces and corporate storytelling output
- Scale successful surfaces based on impact analysis and team capacity

- Have 8-10 years of experience building executive and corporate narratives from ideation through execution, ideally within a fast-paced, high-growth tech or AI environment
- Are adept are creating production workflows from scratch (stage capture systems, content atomization pipelines)
- Have experience in the high-paced broadcast television environment
- Have experience building trust and rapport with executives and senior leaders naturally
- Are scrappy. You thrive in thinking “outside the box” and find joy in marrying a problem to its solution
- Are highly organized and process-driven, with strong project management skills and a bias for action
- Bring high levels of creativity to communications – in format, channel, and storytelling
- Are comfortable navigating organizational dynamics and building strong relationships across all levels
- Thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and know how to ruthlessly prioritize

Why this role?
In this role, you will have ownership of the full sales cycle - from identifying leads to closing deals with Global 2000 across Sweden, Denmark and Norway in telecommunications, financial services, industrial manufacturing, energy and utilities, and healthcare and life sciences. Sovereignty and control over where data and models reside are growing priorities across these sectors, and Cohere is well positioned to meet that need with private, on-premise and in-country deployment built for enterprise scale. We’re looking for an approachable and compelling communicator who loves working with prospects to uncover their needs and feels comfortable developing tailored value propositions around how Cohere’s platform can help them achieve their business goals. You’ll lay the foundation for Cohere’s growth by owning your territory and collaborating with teammates across customer success, sales development, marketing, and solution architecture.
As a Senior Account Executive, you will:
- Drive net-new customer acquisition across Sweden, Denmark and Norway via targeted outbound activity, executive introductions, and relationship building with key stakeholders
- Own the full sales cycle – from initial outreach, technical and business validation, through deal close
- Support coverage of adjacent Nordic accounts as territory priorities require
- Generate and own your own pipeline through disciplined outbound, research and executive prospecting
- Be a trusted advisor to customer prospects, deeply understand their challenges & goals, and tailor solutions to drive impact for their businesses
- Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives and Marketing to supplement your own top of funnel activity
You may be a good fit if you have:
- Fluent in at least one Nordic language – Swedish, Norwegian or Danish – in addition to English; additional Nordic languages are a strong advantage
- 10+ years of B2B enterprise sales experience with Global 2000 and large enterprise customers along with experience negotiating & closing transformational 7-figure deals
- Depth in at least two of our priority sectors: financial services, telecommunications, energy and utilities, manufacturing, healthcare and life sciences
- A hunter mentality - you take pride in generating your own pipeline and are at your best when building a territory rather than managing an inherited one
- A proven track record of high performance and exceeding quotas
- Experience building and maintaining senior-level relationships with executives
- Experience working alongside channel partners and systems integrators to drive sales cycles and hit shared revenue goals
- Excellent communication skills - you are a great listener, have a knack for understanding what matters most to others & building strong relationships, experienced presenting to a C-suite audience, and feel comfortable speaking to both technical and non-technical customer prospects
Additional Requirements:
- Experience selling complex enterprise level solutions, technical products, and private or on-premise deployments (AI/NLP solutions preferred)
- Familiarity with European data residency, sovereignty and regulatory requirements as live buying criteria
- High tolerance for ambiguity - this is an early-stage territory without an established local playbook, and you'll need to be both a doer and a strategist
- Creativity - deal structures can widely vary, strong technical acumen and the ability to creatively structure mutually beneficial partnerships are necessary

As the Senior Director of Solutions Architecture for the Americas at Cohere, you will own the US and Canada commercial Solutions Architecture function. You will lead the team that turns enterprise interest in agentic AI into deployed, production systems, and you will be accountable for the technical win in the most competitive AI market in the world. The United States and Canada are our largest commercial opportunity, and this seat owns how we win them.
You will take an established, distributed team of strong technical people and raise what it can do — setting the bar and establishing the operating rhythm that lets a team of generalists run consistent, industry-fluent plays at enterprise scale. You will set direction for the function, sit on the Solution Architecture leadership team alongside the regional leaders for EMEA and Asia Pacific, and contribute to company-wide decisions with your peers across Sales, Product and Engineering.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Lead and Scale the Organization: Build, coach and develop a high-performing Solutions Architecture organization across the US and Canada, and grow the senior technical talent within it.
- Own the Technical Win: Be personally accountable for the technical outcome of the region’s most strategic pursuits, and be in the room for the ones that decide the year.
- Own the US Market: Lead how Cohere positions, proves and sells into US enterprises — our largest commercial opportunity, and the market this seat is measured on.
- Extend Our Reach: Grow the share of the region’s pipeline the team is technically leading, and make sure we are engaged early on the opportunities that matter most.
- Own the Number with Sales: Partner with regional Sales leadership as a co-owner of the region’s number, not as a support function to it.
- Set Direction for the Function: Define the vision, strategy and operating model for Americas Solutions Architecture, and hold your leaders accountable for delivery and execution against it.
- Build Repeatable Solution Practices: Establish scalable solution-selling methodologies, industry playbooks, executive narratives, business cases and technical delivery frameworks that improve consistency and win rates.
- Architect Enterprise AI Solutions: Guide customers in designing secure, scalable, production-ready agentic AI solutions across cloud, hybrid, VPC and on-premises environments.
- Shape Product Direction: Partner closely with Product and Engineering to translate customer feedback and market needs into platform improvements and roadmap priorities.
- Attract Talent to Cohere: Bring senior technical field talent with you and continue to attract it. Building the bench is part of the job, not a consequence of it.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and develop the Americas commercial Solutions Architecture team through coaching, hiring, performance management and career development.
- Partner with regional Sales leadership to pursue and close strategic enterprise opportunities across financial services, healthcare, energy, technology and other key verticals.
- Own the region’s technical coverage model, and ensure the team is engaged early and consistently on the opportunities that matter most.
- Lead executive workshops, discovery sessions, solution presentations and technical deep dives with C-suite and senior customer stakeholders.
- Develop business cases, solution architectures, implementation roadmaps and technical proposals that align customer objectives with Cohere’s platform.
- Guide customers through the deployment of enterprise AI solutions, ensuring scalability, security, governance and operational readiness.
- Create repeatable solution assets, industry playbooks and best practices that enable the team to consistently deliver high-quality customer engagements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales and Customer Success to ensure alignment between customer needs and platform evolution, and contribute to decisions that reach beyond your own function.
- Serve as the voice of the field by capturing customer feedback and competitive insights that influence product strategy.
- Own and report on the region’s operational and commercial metrics, including technical win rates, pipeline health, coverage and team performance.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Leadership Experience: 15+ years in Solutions Architecture, Solutions Engineering, Technical Consulting or Enterprise Architecture, including 7+ years leading customer-facing technical teams, and a record of developing people into senior and leadership roles.
- People Leadership: A proven record of hiring, coaching and developing high-performing Solutions Architecture or Solutions Engineering teams, and of building or transforming an organization rather than inheriting a healthy one.
- Executive Presence: You command a room. You are credible in front of a CEO and their business leaders, the people who own the problem and the budget, and equally credible in front of a Chief Information Officer, a Chief AI Officer or a Chief Information Security Officer. You can move between the business case and the architecture without losing either audience.
- Hands-On Technical Credibility: You are technical enough to be believed by a strong engineering bench. You work with models and agents yourself, you can pressure-test your team’s architecture, and you can be the most useful person in a design conversation when it matters. This is a player-coach seat, not an overlay.
- Commercial Acumen: A demonstrated ability to partner with enterprise Sales leadership, influence strategic deals, and articulate business value to executive stakeholders. You have carried a number and can point to deals you personally moved.
- Consulting Mindset: Experience leading complex enterprise solution engagements, developing business cases, implementation plans and executive-ready recommendations.
- Technical Expertise: A strong understanding of modern AI architectures, including large language models, agentic systems, retrieval, enterprise integrations, cloud platforms, hybrid and on-premises deployments, security and governance.
- Enterprise Experience: Experience designing and delivering enterprise technology solutions in complex, regulated or large-scale environments.
- Cross-Functional Influence: A record of contributing to decisions beyond your own function, and of working effectively with Product and Engineering leadership.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience building or turning around a regional technical field organization, and evidence of what changed as a result.
- Background in enterprise AI, cloud, or data platform companies, or applied AI consulting organizations.
- Experience supporting customers in regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, energy, or the public sector.
- Experience building repeatable solution-selling methodologies and helping generalist technical teams operate at a consistently high level.
- A network of senior technical field talent you can attract to Cohere.
- Experience operating in high-growth environments where speed, ownership and cross-functional collaboration are critical.

Enterprises hand Cohere their most sensitive data and put our models inside workflows they can't afford to get wrong. Securing that means working on problems the industry hasn't settled yet, what authorization means when an agent acts on a user's behalf, how to contain tools that consume untrusted input, and whether tenant boundaries hold when a model can be steered by the data it reads. The established playbooks only take you so far.
We're hiring a Senior Product Security Engineer to work these problems alongside the engineers building the products, reviewing architecture and code, threat modeling before implementation, testing what ships, and turning what you learn into defaults other teams inherit. This is a hands-on engineering role, not an advisory one.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead security reviews. Review architecture, code, and security-sensitive changes. Identify both individual vulnerabilities and the recurring design patterns behind them.
- Secure AI-powered products. Evaluate risks such as prompt injection, unsafe tool use, identity and delegation failures, excessive agency, data exposure, tenant isolation, and sandbox escapes.
- Threat model new capabilities. Identify trust boundaries, abuse cases, and high-impact failure modes before implementation. Translate findings into practical, prioritized mitigations.
- Perform hands-on testing. Investigate suspected vulnerabilities, develop proofs of concept, assess exploitability and impact, and partner with engineers through remediation.
- Build scalable guardrails. Develop secure defaults, approved patterns, reusable controls, review requirements, and automated checks that reduce recurring risks.
- Strengthen engineering capability. Pair with engineers, document practical guidance, and help product teams develop durable security expertise.
- Influence risk decisions. Explain technical findings, business impact, and remediation options clearly to engineers, product leaders, and executives.
YOU MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF
- You have strong software engineering fundamentals and can independently understand, test, and contribute fixes to production codebases.
- You are proficient in at least one of Python, Go, or TypeScript.
- You have led security reviews or threat models for complex production systems and can point to meaningful design or risk improvements that resulted.
- You understand common vulnerability classes and their underlying design failures, including injection, authorization flaws, IDOR, SSRF, unsafe deserialization, race conditions, cryptographic misuse, and software supply-chain risks.
- You understand modern application architecture, including web applications, APIs, OAuth/OIDC, cloud platforms, containers, Kubernetes, and CI/CD systems.
- You can reason rigorously about untrusted input, authorization, isolation, identity, delegation, and data boundaries. Direct experience with agentic AI systems is valuable but not required.
- You have driven security improvements involving multiple engineering teams, including situations where influence mattered more than authority.
- You communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience building or operating security tooling such as SAST, DAST, SCA, custom linters, or policy-as-code.
- Experience securing multi-tenant SaaS, enterprise software, or systems that process sensitive customer data.
- Offensive security experience through penetration testing, red teaming or security research.
- Experience operating or participating in a vulnerability disclosure or bug bounty program.
- Contributions to open-source security projects, published research, conference talks, or credited vulnerability discoveries.
