Hospital Inpatient Coder IIIThe Hospital Inpatient Coder III uses clinical coding knowledge based on the Official Coding Conventions guidelines and AHA Coding Clinic, to assign ICD-9 and/or ICD-10 codes to the highest level of accuracy for each inpatient encounter. Works closely with physicians, clinical documentation improvement specialist, quality, and patient finance staff.
