We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.
You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.
The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a
Senior
Solutions Architect (Professional Services)
to join Grafana Labs’ world-class Customer Experience team. This is a highly hands-on role for technically skilled professionals who thrive on helping customers solve complex problems, accelerate adoption, and drive real business outcomes with Grafana at the center.
As a Solutions Architect, you’ll be a
trusted technical partner
—not a quota-carrying seller, but a customer-first advocate who leads with authenticity and insight. You’ll guide organizations through onboarding, implementation, and expansion by offering white-glove support, best practices, and proven strategies gathered from across our customer base.
You’ll operate with one foot in the code and the other in the customer’s world. Whether it’s understanding container orchestration in Kubernetes, fine-tuning Prometheus queries, or clarifying the nuances between logs, metrics, and traces—you’ll bring clarity and confidence to complex technical landscapes. You know the difference between "pets and cattle" and why that matters for scalable observability.
You’ll deliver high-impact training, jumpstart engagements, and offer tailored technical consulting to help customers succeed. As an embedded partner during critical phases, you’ll provide roadmap assurance, guide project execution, and ensure Grafana's capabilities align with the customer’s architecture, goals, and constraints. Along the way, you’ll identify recurring issues, monitor support needs, and advocate for product improvements in close collaboration with internal teams.
Success in this role means being a strategic thinker
and
a command-line problem solver. You’re passionate about OSS, love engaging with customers, and have the instincts to manage timelines, unblock teams, and deliver value at every stage of the engagement.
Join us and help elevate the Grafana customer experience through world-class technical delivery and meaningful impact.
What You'll Be Doing:
Effective in working with customers, including business executives, project managers, and IT development staff.
Effective in understanding business needs and distilling the information into business and technical requirements.
Comfortable working with complex business and technological requirements and translating into the design of solutions, including data visualization, workflow recommendations, migrations, and enterprise scale architecture.
Ability to act as a functional lead and able to demonstrate clear approach to methodology as well as functional capabilities. Leads functional workshops with customers, documents requirements, and designs appropriate solutions.
Speed is paramount. This team is nimble and is the fulcrum to accelerate the delivery of the solution for customers.
Be a strong advocate for adherence to standards and best practices.
Stay current on Grafana Labs, observability, and related technologies.
You'll be a key resource for our Sales, Product Management, Engineering, Support, and Professional Services teams as they look to drive innovation and improvements into future product and offering enhancements.

Senior Product Designer, Knowledge Graph
This is a remote position. We are looking for candidates in the US and Canada
(East Coast US/Canada preferred, open to other time zones for exceptional candidates)
.
The Opportunity:
As a Senior Product Designer at Grafana Labs, you will join a growing Product Design organization of more than 25 designers, researchers, engineers, and design leaders distributed across six continents. You will work within a 100% remote R&D organization, so strong, proactive remote communication, collaboration, facilitation, and relationship building skills will be essential to your success.
As
Senior Product Designer for Grafana Cloud’s Knowledge Graph
, you'll design experiences for the context layer of Grafana Cloud that powers our entity graph, entity catalog and RCA workbench. Knowledge Graph automatically discovers services, infrastructure, and databases from the telemetry teams already have, maps how they depend on each other, and runs anomaly detection. This gives engineers, SREs, and their agents an up to date picture of their systems. We want anyone to be able to understand a system and resolve an incident faster, without writing queries or maintaining alert rules, not just the one person who happens to know it best.
Over time, you will develop deep expertise in your product area and associated customer and user personas, use cases, and workflows, which will enable you to design tailored, role-driven experiences.
You will also have an opportunity to contribute to the evolution of the Product Design team at Grafana by coaching and mentoring other designers, collaborating on team internal initiatives, and helping evolve new ways of working, learning, and having fun together as the team scales.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Enabling customers to easily understand and explore how their systems connect to each other. Find clear, simple ways to show complex, constantly-changing information without overwhelming the user
Translate research and data to experiences that are easy to digest and break down complexity
Tailor the experience to different target audiences, covering multiple user perspectives
Work cross-functionally with peers and leaders in engineering, product management, technical writing, and GTM functions, as well as other members of the Product Design team
Prioritise for delivering impact while balancing business priorities, customer wishes and technical considerations
Document user needs and pain points, design directions, UX trade-offs, and detailed designs for specific features and enhancements
Execute research and contribute to quantitative and qualitative research initiatives with researchers, cross-functional collaborators, customers, and members of the Grafana user community
What Makes You a Great Fit:
7+ years of relevant design experience working on B2B/enterprise software products, ideally designing tools and services for developers or other highly technical users
A portfolio of effective designs for complex products delivered in a fast-paced environment
Experience running qualitative research in complex fields, building empathy with users and humans, their needs and pain points even when you have very little in common with them
Ability to make design decisions that appropriately balance business goals, product priorities, customer feedback, research insights, and technical considerations
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple locations and time-zones to iteratively ship and evolve products while keeping the end design vision in mind
Attention to detail and willingness to learn about a complex, very technical product space
Experience working in a fully-remote, fast-paced environment where you are expected to share openly, default to transparency, and embrace your autonomy
Bonus Points For:
Experience designing complex, data-dense interfaces with a focus on clarity
Ability to rapidly gain an understanding of a technical domain and associated customer needs and user workflows in order to design effective experiences within that domain
Domain knowledge or experience related to observability, cloud infrastructure, and/or database monitoring
Experience helping design teams, especially at engineering led companies, level up their practice, collaboration with partner functions, and user and organizational impact
When you apply, please:
Provide an example of an experience where decision-making in a complex area is made easy through a well-curated UI. Add a sentence or two about what you believe makes it effective.
Compensation & Rewards:
In Canada, the Base compensation range for this role is CAD $

We’re scaling fast and staying true to what makes us different: an open-source legacy, a global collaborative culture, and a passion for meaningful work. Our team thrives in an innovation-driven environment where transparency, autonomy, and trust fuel everything we do.
You may not meet every requirement, and that’s okay. If this role excites you, we’d love you to raise your hand for what could be a truly career-defining opportunity.
The Opportunity
Grafana’s GTM organization is looking for a Director, Strategy & Planning. Reporting to our VP of Revenue Operations, you will work with a cross-functional team of stakeholders to define growth strategies, provide insights to business performance, and set the standard for data- driven decision making in GTM. Success in this role requires deep experience with consumption-based SaaS. You'll understand how customer adoption and usage translate into revenue over time, and use that understanding to guide GTM capacity, productivity, and investment decisions across Sales, SE, CX, SDR, and Partners. This is a hands-on leadership role with ownership of the planning agenda and the models behind it.
What you'll be doing:
Establish standard reports and tools to analyze business performance, help set operational targets, and drive planning processes with the Go-To-Market Operations team
Lead annual and long-range GTM planning, aligning revenue targets with hiring plans, territory coverage, and productivity assumptions
Develop revenue and capacity scenarios that account for usage variability, customer adoption, and expansion or contraction across cohorts, segments, and regions.
Work with Global and Regional Sales and Services leaders to evaluate strategic opportunities and/or transformational initiatives; New market evaluation, M&A integration, vertical planning, pricing, etc.
Become an expert in how our GTM data is captured, how it ties to underlying business processes, and how it impacts key metrics and reports.
Identify operational gaps in our reporting capabilities and/or inefficiencies in the planning process. Work with Analytics and Business Systems teams to build scalable solutions.
Help create the connective tissue across our internal stakeholders: Revenue Operations, Marketing, Finance, Data, and GTM leadership
Build scalable, self-service planning processes that improve consistency and reduce manual coordination across teams.
Advise GTM leadership on market segmentation, vertical performance, pricing scenarios, and territory strategy, presenting clear recommendations and tradeoffs.
Partner with Finance to align consumption-based revenue scenarios with workforce budgets and financial targets, reviewing performance and recommending adjustments as usage trends change.
Set priorities for the planning function and lead cross-functional initiatives with Data and Field Ops to close gaps in reporting and planning infrastructure.
Identify and implement AI-assisted approaches to consumption analysis, scenario development, and recurring reporting, partnering with data to validate results and improve planning efficiency.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
8+ years in GTM strategy and operations, sales planning, revenue operations, consulting, or a related analytical field, including experience leading a planning function or major cross-functional programs.
Demonstrated track record of strategic thinking and analysis--seeing over the horizon to identify opportunities, envision models, and strategic paths to capture opportunities, as well as spot emerging risks
Strong modeling and analytical skills – comfort with complex segmentation analysis and workforce planning
Excellent communication skills with executive audiences - explain “what it is”, “why it matters” and “what should we do” in terms of your data and analysis
Experience owning GTM planning through significant ARR and headcount growth at a SaaS company of comparable scale and complexity, including evolving capacity models, coverage strategies, and planning processes as the organization expands.
Experience in a Sales or GTM organization, and familiarity with common sales methodologies (MEDDPICC or MEDDIC) and models ( rep productivity, rep capacity, campaign influence, and quota modeling)
High comfort with ambiguity. You identify the right priorities and put in the hard work without need for external motivation
You think critically and creatively, continually reorienting to obstacles to define a better way to achieve our goals.
Bonus Points For:
Previous experience in open source
Experience with Grafana, Tableau or other analysis/BI tools.
Familiarity with Salesforce CPQ, Zuora, or other CPQ / Q2C / subscription management tools.
Familiarity with marketing automation (Marketo) or sales productivity tools (Outreach, Clari, People.ai).
Familiarity with SQL or similar database querying language (you won’t be deep in SQL, but helps to have heard of a LEFT JOIN).
Experience applying generative AI, predictive analytics, or AI-enabled automation to improve GTM planning, forecasting, and reporting, with sound judgment in validating outputs and underlying assumptions.

Senior Software Engineer - Session Replay
The Opportunity:
The Session Replay squad is building a new Grafana Cloud product that helps our customers to understand what users actually experienced when something goes wrong.
Session Replay
connects frontend signals (errors, performance, synthetic checks) to concrete session-level evidence, enabling faster and more confident investigation of production issues.
This team works at the intersection of:
frontend observability,
backend data processing and storage at scale,
debugging workflows across products,
privacy and access control,
performance and cost constraints at scale.
Session Replay
is still early, which means you’ll help shape both what we build and how it fits into Grafana Cloud. A key part of our next phase is evolving the backend architecture of capturing sessions, including a migration toward columnar/analytical solution as a primary storage and query engine for high-volume session data.
As a company we are remote-first and global, we embrace people of different experiences and backgrounds to build diverse teams where every person brings a new perspective to the software. We are looking for Senior Software Engineers who are passionate about working with data and providing seamless experiences for our customers to join our growing team! Our stack is Golang, Typescript and React, but we build tools for people using many other stacks.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will operate as a technical leader and systems thinker, driving both product direction and architectural evolution, specifically, you will:
Own end-to-end technical direction for Session Replay,
spanning frontend, backend, and data systems
Drive the evolution of our backend architecture, including:
Designing systems around columnar/analytical data storage for large-scale session data
Defining data models, ingestion pipelines, and query patterns
Lead the design of investigation workflows,
connecting replay with logs, metrics, traces and other telemetry across Grafana Cloud
Make high-leverage architectural decisions
that impact multiple teams and products
Partner with teams across Grafana (Frontend Observability, Synthetic Monitoring, Core Grafana) to build
cohesive cross-product experiences
Engage directly with customers
- joining calls, gathering structured feedback, and helping customers instrument and adopt Session Replay successfully.
Improve engineering standards, patterns, and operational practices within the team
Mentor engineers and help grow technical leadership within the team
Technologies you'll work with:
Go (backend services and APIs)
Columnar/Analytical data storage (core data storage and querying)
Object storage (S3, GCS, Azure Blob Storage) and MySQL
TypeScript / React (user-facing workflows)
Grafana ecosystem (Mimir, Loki, Tempo, etc.)
We invest heavily in developer productivity. You can use modern AI coding assistants as part of your daily workflow (your choice of tools, within security guidelines), backed by a company-funded usage budget so you can iterate quickly without unnecessary friction. We encourage pragmatic AI-assisted development: faster prototyping, test generation, refactors, documentation, and incident follow-ups—always with strong code review and quality standards. You'll also have access to the latest frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google.
What Makes You a Great Fit:

You'll also have access to the latest frontier models from OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Design, build, operate, and maintain critical systems, owning the reliability, performance, and availability.
Take an active role in influencing our roadmap and your own career objectives.
Work with your team to deliver new features, then use the results to iterate and improve.
Drive projects from initial ideation all the way to operations once it is in the hands of customers.
Embrace our open-source culture and contribute to other projects that may not directly fall within your team’s scope.
Be a part of your team’s on-call rotations and take ownership of the services you’re running.
Mentor and support other team members, participate in design discussions, and collaborate with the team.
Learn new skills by gaining a deeper understanding of our cloud product and our customers and getting to know the codebase of a large distributed system.
As we are remote-first and our engineering organisation is largely remote, we provide guidance and meet regularly using video calls, so an independent attitude and good communication skills are a must.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
You are a motivated self starter with a bias towards action.
You are customer focused. We build everything with our users in mind. You have a passion for creating intuitive products that fit customers’ needs .
Pragmatism: You are able to take on complex challenges and break them down to achieve short feedback loops: to analyze, design, and build modular solutions, deliver MVPs, gather data and feedback, and then progress iteratively.
Collaboration and communication: The smallest unit we have is a team. You’ll be working with your teammates in a fully remote setup. Good communication skills are a must.
Requirements:
Solid experience with at least one programming language. We use Go, but if you have familiarity with Python, C, C++, Rust or similar then that translates well.
Some experience with delivering projects from gathering requirements and brainstorming ideas, all the way to shipping a product to the customer’s hands in a self-driven way.
Some experience with developing software that runs in the Cloud
or
some experience with systems engineering.
Experience writing clean, robust, and performant software that is easily maintained by others.
Bonus Points For:
Experience writing low level code for databases, storage layers, or query engines.
Experience working with Kubernetes.
Been a user of Grafana and/or Prometheus in operational roles (including on-call for your team at a previous employer or just using these tools in hobby/homelab projects).
Exposure to microservices architecture and distributed systems, or a desire to learn.
Familiarity with being on-call and performing operations/SRE tasks or with the concept of infrastructure as code.

This role is available for candidates located in Australia or Singapore.
The Opportunity:
Grafana Cloud is our composable observability platform that integrates metrics, logs, traces, and profiles with Grafana. It allows our customers to leverage the best open source observability software – including Prometheus, Mimir, Loki, Tempo, and Pyroscope – without the overhead of installing, maintaining and scaling their own observability stack.
The Databases team owns the telemetry databases that are
Mimir for metrics
,
Loki for logs
,
Tempo for traces
, and
Pyroscope for profiles
. Our databases are OSS projects that we also offer as a Cloud service supporting Grafana Cloud, and as an on-premise solution. They are multi-tenant distributed systems implemented in Go and running on Kubernetes across all major Cloud service providers (GCP, Azure, AWS). We also have engineers working on
Prometheus
,
Grafana Alloy
,
Mimir proxies
, and OpenTelemetry.
As a company we are remote-first and global, we embrace people of different experiences and backgrounds to build diverse teams where every person brings a new perspective to the software. Our tech stack is mostly made up of services written in Go, running on multiple Kubernetes clusters that leverage Cloud object storage.
We invest heavily in developer productivity. You can use modern AI coding assistants as part of your daily workflow (your choice of tools, within security guidelines), backed by a company-funded usage budget so you can iterate quickly without unnecessary friction.

This is a remote position. We are considering candidates in Germany, Sweden, Spain, Ireland and the UK only.
The Observability department is focused on enabling developers to understand the health and performance of their applications and infrastructure in any environment by providing tools to instrument their code, ingest observability data into Grafana Cloud and visualize and explore it.
What is the Ingest team?
We build and maintain the configuration and deployment tooling that bridges the gap between "I want observability" and "I have observability,". To achieve this the team owns
Fleet Management
, the
Kubernetes Monitoring Helm Chart
, and the
Instrumentation Hub
. Fleet Management is the cloud-based central control plane our customers use to manage hundreds of thousands of Observability Collectors in the wild. The Kubernetes Monitoring Helm Chart is used to effectively deploy Observability Collection in Kubernetes based environments. Foster a psychologically safe environment where engineers can learn, experiment and iterate quickly, encouraging innovation and a culture of continuous improvement.
Work across team boundaries by contributing to projects outside your team’s scope and partnering with other functions to solve customer problems.

What Makes You a Great Fit:
Experience in either of these areas is a strong advantage: Observability (especially OpenTelemetry), or building a central control plane that manages fleets of collectors.
You will be comfortable working with engineering teams who have a strong sense of autonomy in their decision-making, be it technical or product focused.
While you’re great with people and adept at managing relationships, you still keep up-to-date with the latest technical trends and shifts in order to maintain and enhance your understanding of the challenges your teams face.
Comfortable collaborating across time zones and cultures in a fully remote environment, using clear, empathetic communication to build trust, connection, and psychological safety.
Demonstrated ability to manage complexity, align stakeholders, and elevate team performance to deliver meaningful, high-quality results.
Deeply customer-focused, consistently grounding decisions and technical choices in user needs and real-world impact.
Solid understanding of distributed systems principles, including scalability, fault tolerance, consistency, and observability.
Comfort with AI-assisted tooling.
