What You'll Do Build the marketing organization —Our marketing organization does not exist at the moment. You'll design the strategy, define how the team operates, establish priorities, and hire exceptional people Build a marketing engine that drives growth —Marketing exists to accelerate the business.
Responsibilities:
— Build the marketing organization from scratch, designing strategy, defining team operations, setting priorities, and hiring exceptional people.
— Develop a marketing engine that drives business growth by generating enterprise pipeline, strengthening market position, enabling Sales success, and supporting long-term revenue growth.
— Partner closely with Sales and Growth Operations to identify growth sources, create marketing leverage, and continuously improve the marketing engine.
— Turn customer success into a competitive advantage by engaging with clinical leaders, visiting hospitals, listening to implementation calls, and using insights to inform demand generation and thought leadership.
— Shape market perception of Vitalize through product marketing, positioning, launches, communications, employer branding, customer advocacy, executive events, and public narrative.
— Recruit and develop a high-performing marketing team that embodies ambition, humility, ownership, curiosity, creativity, and execution.
Requirements:
— Experience building and scaling marketing at a high-growth B2B SaaS company.
— Expertise in marketing engines including demand generation, product marketing, customer marketing, brand, communications, events, and sales enablement.
— Experience marketing complex enterprise SaaS products with long sales cycles, multiple executive stakeholders, and high-value deals.
— Strong customer obsession with ability to gather insights and translate them into positioning, campaigns, product launches, and compelling stories.
— Proven team building skills with ability to hire, develop, and coach marketers while fostering a culture of ownership, curiosity, and high standards.
— Player-coach mindset: capable of setting strategy and also engaging in messaging, creative review, campaign launches, pipeline analysis, and staying close to the work.
— Good judgement to prioritize and focus team energy on highest-leverage opportunities.
