Senior Director, Retail FP&A

Responsibilities: — Lead Merchandise Finance in a high-visibility role reporting directly to the CFO. — Partner closely with the Chief Merchandising Officer, Chief Growth Officer, and Chief Operating Officer to design, build, and execute the retail merchandise plan. — Own FP&A for Merchandise/Retail, Channels & Business Development, and Marketing teams, overseeing the total Retail P&L. — Track weekly performance against plan and hold teams accountable to results. — Identify key KPIs, build reporting to surface key drivers and trends, and drive actionable insights that create measurable value. — Build, develop, and motivate a team of approximately 5 FP&A managers and analysts, scaling team processes and tools as the business grows. — Stay hands-on with data analysis using SQL to pull and structure analysis, and engage directly with models and presentations as needed. Requirements: — 8–10+ years in business, finance, or accounting, including 5+ years leading FP&A teams with experience building and scaling teams of 5 or more. — Background in retail, ecommerce, or merchandise finance with fluency in fast-moving retail P&L dynamics. — Experience supporting multiple business lines or P&Ls simultaneously, such as retail/merchandise, marketing, and channel/business development. — Strong SQL skills and demonstrated self-sufficiency with data, along with advanced Excel and BI tool experience. — Proven ability to present to and influence C-suite executives. — Strong project management skills and a bias toward action in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
