Коротко о роли
• Build and maintain a test automation framework for the platform. • Automate UI tests for the desktop application and the web portal.
Responsibilities:
— Build and maintain a test automation framework for a large data platform including Windows desktop application, web portal, APIs, background services, and SQL Server databases.
— Automate UI tests for desktop and web applications.
— Write API and integration tests for REST/WCF services and background services.
— Create end-to-end tests covering full business flows from UI through services to database.
— Prepare test data and verify results directly in SQL Server.
— Run automated tests in GitHub Actions on every pull request.
— Use AI tools to accelerate writing, maintaining, and debugging tests.
— Report bugs in Jira and collaborate closely with developers to resolve them.
Requirements:
— At least 1 year of experience in test automation or C# development with strong interest in QA.
— Good knowledge of C# / .NET and test frameworks such as NUnit or xUnit.
— Experience with API testing tools like Postman, HttpClient, or RestSharp.
— Basic SQL skills including SELECT, JOIN, inserting and checking test data.
— Understanding of testing theory including test cases, test levels, and bug life cycle.
— Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor or similar.
— Basic Git knowledge.
— English proficiency at B1+ level for written communication and calls.
— Availability for evening calls and meetings from 9 to 11 PM Tashkent time.
Nice to Have:
— Experience with desktop UI automation tools like FlaUI, WinAppDriver or Appium.
— Experience with CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions.
— Knowledge of Docker and isolated test environments.
— Familiarity with WCF, Windows services or RabbitMQ.
— Experience in performance/load testing using k6, JMeter, or NBomber.
