Responsibilities:
— Lead the set-up of each NHS Clinical Research Facility (CRF) site through to opening, including providing Local Information Packs and addressing site-specific queries.
— Coordinate contracts with Trust R&D offices and uMed's contracts team.
— Prepare each site to support bio-sample collections and clinical assessments by managing training, sample logistics, and equipment.
— Manage day-to-day operations of the sites once open, acting as the main contact for site teams.
— Facilitate Site Initiation Visits (SIV) and uMed platform site training.
— Track visits and issues across all sites, provide weekly reports, and escalate risks early.
— Align site capacity with uMed's patient recruitment to ensure referred participants are booked promptly.
Requirements:
— Minimum of 4 years of experience in clinical research site set-up.
The role reports to the VP of Global Operations, is based in the UK, and is remote with an immediate start. The contract duration is 6 months. Sites are already identified and are required to facilitate bio-sample collection and clinical assessments, while uMed manages identification and recruitment.
