Location: India Workplace: remote Role summary Review and resolve differences between the two blind pass transcriptions where adjudication is needed, and uphold quality standards for the locale. This role calls for strong judgment and deep familiarity with the conventions. Project: Sterrennacht Location: India (Remote) Engagement Type: Freelance Rate: USD 6.30/hour Estimated Hours: 20-25 hours/week Key responsibilities Compare the two independent transcriptions against the audio and decide the correct final output Judge which differences are real disagreements, such as wording, tagging, speaker attributes, or convention application Check that the final transcript follows the client's conventions end to end Provide clear, constructive feedback to Generalists, and track recurring error patterns Document guideline gaps and ambiguities, especially around disagreement thresholds, and escalate them to the program team Support calibration sessions and help keep decisions consistent across the locale Requirements Native-level fluency and strong written accuracy in the Bengali languag e Proven experience in transcription QA, linguistic review, or adjudication Thorough knowledge of transcription conventions and the ability to apply them consistently Analytical judgment, objectivity, and the ability to justify decisions Clear written communication for feedback and escalations Previous experience as a lead, reviewer, or senior linguist preferred
