Senior QA Engineer

Your Role: — Ensure high-quality releases through effective test planning, execution, regression testing, and staged rollout support — Define practical QA coverage for devices, OS versions, store builds, SDKs, ads, IAPs, analytics, and remote config — Identify, prioritize, and document issues with clear, actionable bug reports — Drive QA automation and continuously improve testing efficiency and coverage — Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and external QA partners — Monitor live quality, investigate crashes, ANRs, performance issues, and prevent regressions — Provide clear release readiness assessments and go/no-go recommendations — Maintain test documentation, release reports, and changelogs in Jira & Confluence — Champion a quality-first mindset across the team Your profile: — Mobile or instant games as your primary QA domain for 5+ years, ideally on live-operated F2P titles — Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field — Hands-on experience with IAP flows, ad mediation, ATT/consent frameworks, and attribution SDKs — Experience with QA automation, Unity games, and modern QA tools and workflows — Experience with crash reporting and monitoring tools (e.g. Firebase, Crashlytics, DataDog), and strong understanding of mobile stability issues: crashes, ANRs, and freezes — Proven experience building or owning a mobile QA automation framework (e.g. Appium, Unity Test Framework) — Strong understanding of mobile game telemetry, analytics validation, and event tracking — Experience working with external QA vendors or distributed QA teams — Proficient with Jira, Confluence, and modern AI tools to improve testing, documentation, and QA efficiency — Strong analytical, problem-solving, and English communication skills — Highly organized, proactive, and passionate about delivering exceptional player experiences Benefits: — Remote-first, work fully remote or from Berlin office — Flexible working hours — No crunch culture, no overtime — Generous vacation — Home office budget and utility grant — Learning & development budget — Top-tier equipment — Meal allowance — Company swag — Annual company retreat
