Senior React Native Developer

Firebird is an international online travel company organizing trips to Europe for customers worldwide. The software development department focuses on internal products including several mobile apps: Rail Ninja (rail ticket booking), Firebird (online trip builder), Agora (partner app), and a hotel booking service. Responsibilities: — Work closely with back-end team for API integration. — Collaborate with front-end team to deliver high-quality code. — Participate actively in React Native development. — Conduct code reviews and apply best practices. — Collaborate with product managers, designers, BAs, and stakeholders. — Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues. Requirements: — Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. — Strong experience in mobile app development focusing on React Native. — Proven team lead or supervisory experience. — Excellent communication and collaboration skills. — Strong problem-solving and adaptability in dynamic environments. — Familiarity with Agile methodologies and software development best practices. Technical Skills: — Proficiency in React, JavaScript, TypeScript. — Deep understanding and hands-on experience with React Native lifecycle, state management, navigation, rendering. — Solid knowledge of API integration, HTTP protocol, REST API, WebSockets. — Experience publishing apps to App Store and Google Play. — Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Redux-Saga, MobX). — Experience with mobile data storage libraries (MMKV). — Ability to style apps, build responsive interfaces for various devices. — Confident with Git, IDEs, debugging tools; understanding Git Flow. — Experience in testing, performance optimization, memory leak detection. — Understanding of architectural patterns. — Experience coding with AI agents (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex).
