Senior Product Designer

RELOCATION TO SPAIN About the opportunity We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to join N26's UX team in the Grow and Engage domain. There are several areas within the domain where design strength is being added, and candidates will be matched based on their background and interests. The role involves leading end-to-end design for key parts of the N26 experience used by millions of customers daily. The position reports to the Head of UX and works within a cross-functional team including product, engineering, research, and data partners. About the work The Grow and Engage domain focuses on how customers derive lasting value from N26, covering core product features that drive daily banking habits, recommendations, AI-powered insights, and subscription tiers (Smart, Go, Metal). The role includes designing for the home screen, in-app discovery, and cross-cutting product patterns, with scope to influence current and future product packaging. What you'll do - Own end-to-end design for important workstreams from problem framing through research, exploration, and delivery. - Deliver high-quality UI and interaction design that delights customers and drives conversion. - Define user needs, success criteria, constraints, and tradeoffs before solution development. - Adapt to evolving priorities, knowing when to dive deep or pivot. - Mentor and elevate the design craft of peers through critique and leadership. - Ensure consistency by contributing to and improving the design system and creating reusable patterns. - Use data-informed approaches combining qualitative and quantitative research. - Collaborate closely with product, engineering, research, and data teams to deliver impactful work. - Utilize AI tools fluently for exploration, prototyping, synthesis, and accelerating design tasks. You're a good fit if you have - A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design on complex consumer products, ideally mobile and at scale. - Experience leading design across multiple workstreams or feature areas. - Experience contributing to a production-scale design system. - Experience grounding decisions in research and data, proactively seeking data when unavailable. - Experience mentoring designers and elevating design craft. - Strong written and verbal communication skills to advocate design decisions to product, engineering, leadership, and customers.
